Overall I like the update, it will take some time to get used to but it’s nice. Disappointed that it’s just dragon vistas after all, but not surprised. It doesn’t… really feel like an anniversary-level update, but it’s been a tough year, hah.

Now I shall proceed to completely ignore proper lore names for familiars and just doing silly joke names instead.

i am not staff but i THINK what staff is getting at with the ‘we’re gonna make the gem ancient a typical dragon’ thing is that they KNOW that imps/skydancers/coatls are SUPER FUCKING POPULAR and that a similar breed will sell like hotcakes, whereas while they know a lot of people want a weird-ass ancient, they don’t have anything to compare it to, market-wise. it makes sense to go with a safe bet than to put a potentially really polarizing breed on the gem MP.

This is super real and probably accurate to what staff is thinking. 

my only comment is that is is very possible design-wise to make a very pretty/sleek dragon with extra limbs. for instance extra wings are elegant af (especially if they’re feathered) and odds are no one’s gonna mind if they slip in an extra pair of arms or two. 

I’m not mad that it won’t be gross or weird, I’m just annoyed that they’re not taking advantage of the rules that they made.
