Here at Corvus Luna, I make hand-made, custom and themed crystal bracelets, with more materials and designs being added frequently.

A Bit About CLC's Products

Apart from some pre-designed or single-material bracelets, all items are made-to-order, allowing you to get precisely what you want. With over 100 (at current count, estimated to be 127) materials, ranging from Afghan Jade to Yellow Tiger Eye, there is bound to be something to catch your fancy.

Are CLC Beads Real Crystal?

All beads, with the exception of a handful, are natural crystal, though some are enhanced (such as K2 Jasper) or dyed (such as the many colors of chalcedony). However, all are, at their core, natural crystal. Unless marked, I do not sell man-made 'crystals', as I believe them to have no innate 'powers'. However, due to demand, a handful of man-made beads are included in my stock, such as opalite, goldstone and imperial jasper. All beads that are in any way synthetic or altered from their natural state are marked as such, with all the information I can provide. If not marked they are, to my knowledge, entirely natural.

Why Regular and VIP?

Some beads are classed as VIP, meaning that they are of a higher quality and purity than the standard beads provided. This does not indicate inferiority of one or superiority of the other, to my mind, but rather a different form of the material. For example, VIP Black Tourmaline contains no inclusions, whilst regular Black Tourmaline contains inclusions of quartz and other minerals. Both are equally beautiful, but due to its rarity and purity, VIP does incur a slightly higher cost.

Are There Just Bead Bracelets?

Nope! Whilst, for the moment, bracelets are the focus, I do have the facility to make keyrings and, potentially, chokers and necklaces (though the latter two do need a little more practice). I do also have a selection of pendants available which can be incorporated onto a beaded project or are available on chain or cord. Pictures will be posted as soon as available. I also have several rings available as well as the facility to create anxiety rings in any of the materials I provide (once listed, the anxiety fidget rings shown serve as an example of what style I can make). For those interested in raw chips bracelets, I do have a handful of chip varieties available, and will be gradually increasing stock if demand warrants.

You Said Themed. What's That?

Some of us like to wear jewelry that is designed to be devotional or commemorate our favorite game or show. That's precisely what the themed offerings are. Some are designed by myself and my team of highly creative friends, to be reminiscent of, for example, Lord of the Rings, Dungeons & Dragons, Narnia, AtLA, etc. Others may be created with certain deities in mind, such as Loki, Hades, Persephone, Poseidon, and others. If none of the pre-designed offerings catch your eye, or you would like something custom designed to match your choice, this is 100% what the 'hand-made custom bracelets' concept is all about: a bracelet made specifically with you in mind.

Wait, You Said Deities. Does That Mean Any Deity?

Absolutely. As an Omnist, I fully believe we all have the right to worship any deity or being we feel warrants it. My own pantheon is far-reaching and much too varied to list, but suffice to say whether you seek something for Artemis, Lucifer, Hestia, Buddha, Yahweh or any other, you are completely free to request it. This is a no-judgement zone, and if you wish for me to create your bracelet with prayers to your deity in mind while doing so, I will happily oblige.

Does 'No-Judgement' Really Mean NO Judgement?

Completely. As a member of multiple communities that may be considered 'out of the ordinary', I believe we all are equal, no matter our race, creed, orientation, gender, or illness. Ally bracelets, such as LGBT+, Autism Awareness, Breast Cancer Awareness, and any other cause you may believe in, are fully welcome here, as are those for any religion, band, etc. If you require something made that I can make, it is of no consequence to me what your background is. The fact that you are human is all that matters.

Autism Acceptance Controversy

For those who saw my post in which I explained that I plan some Autism Awareness/ Autism Acceptance bracelets, I would like to make two things extremely clear:

First, I'm newly-diagnosed. I'm bound to get things wrong, use language that people find outdated or controversial, do things that aren't quite 'right', etc. It's part of learning. If you know I've made a mistake somewhere along the way, please correct me. Gently. I won't take offense. Quite the opposite. I want to learn what's correct in this community I've now become a part of, but if you do decide to correct me, I ask that you do so in a nice way. That's not to say anyone's said anything so far, but just a note in advance. I will always take constructive criticism to heart and try to act on it.

Second, and most importantly: the Puzzle Piece. I've been seeing posts about the controversy behind it, and I would like to make it clear that I will be making some bracelets with the puzzle piece symbol. However, this is not for the same reason (or so I'm seeing) that Autism Speaks uses it. AS apparently uses it because Autism is a 'puzzling condition'. My choice to use the puzzle piece is because I want to represent the fact that Autistic people fit into society just as much as those who aren't, that we have our own little niche just like everyone else. If you prefer not to have the puzzle piece on your bracelet, I will make some without it as well, and will also be seeking out the infinity symbol and rainbow in charm form, as I'm seeing people say these are acceptable alternatives. Again, if I'm wrong, please correct me. If I'm right, please let me know. I can only learn from feedback and guidance.

A teensy apology, a little thanks, and a tiny sneak info.

Just wanted to apologise to those waiting on asks at the moment. I promise they're not being ignored. I've just been a bit under the weather the last few days so haven't been as up to the task of posting as I normally would be. That being said, if you have an ask you wish to send, feel free to do so! I'll be getting on answering any currently waiting and any new ones within the next couple of days, and there are a few beauties coming up! I'm loving the theme questions people have been sending, as well as the queries regarding what stone to use for what purpose. I'll admit, some of the themed ones I had to turn to my partners for help with, since they were franchises I didn't know too well, but their excitement definitely made it worth the questioning! Plus, I have a couple of my absolute all-time favorites in the ask-box, which I was thrilled to see (no spoilers!). I'd like to say a big thanks to those who are interacting with this blog, whether it be to send asks, reblog, or just like posts. Every bit of activity boosts the blog itself, but even more importantly to me, it lets me see that this blog is being a source of either entertainment or information to people, and that's what it's all about. Yes, I would love to gain a lot of traction and get my fundraiser funded and my business booming, but even more, I would like to be someone who can bring a little smile into your day. Your interaction lets me know that, even for a moment, I've been able to do that, so thank you.

In addition, that leads me to a little something I've been wanting to do for a while and have finally been able to order the supplies for: Autism Awareness Bracelets. Even before I myself was diagnosed, I knew my partner had been diagnosed, and several people I knew, and I wanted to do my part for the cause. Problem was, I had no idea how. Thanks to a lovely lady in a 'blah-blah Book' community I'm in, I finally knew what to look for, and by some miracle, managed to find it.

I've now been able to order a small number of Autism Awareness charms in a variety of designs, and will be making a first run of Awareness bracelets as soon as they arrive, which I'm hoping should be within a couple of weeks, dependent on shipping time. As with all of my Awareness bracelets, these will be $13CAD+Shipping, regardless of material. I'll be pre-making some, but will be open to special requests on materials should you have any, and will have pictures of the available materials (since I'll be selecting a choice of materials based on the Autism Awareness color scheme and complimenting it) once I have the charms available. Crystal of the Day - Red Network/ Red Vein Jasper

Red Vein Jasper, also known as Red Network Jasper, is a sadly misunderstood stone. It looks so simple, and almost as if it has defects, but that, my friends, is its exact beauty.

If you’re familiar with the term ‘kintsugi’, you may know where I’m going with this. If not, let me enlighten you! Kintsugi, boiled down to its absolute most basic, is a Japanese art form in which a piece of pottery has its cracks and defects repaired, but not with glue or the same material as the pot. Nope, rather, they repair it with an adhesive including gold, making the cracks themselves stand out far more than ever. Why, you may ask? Well, there are many reasons but one, and the one I feel most important, is that it allows both the artist and the viewer to embrace what would formerly be considered a defect and instead see it as a beautiful addition to the piece.

In the same vein (pun intended), Red Network is all the more beautiful for the gorgeous red veining that criss-crosses its otherwise almost pure white surface. This may be part of the reason that this stone is said to bring strength, courage, and stability. The same qualities that kintsugi helps us to develop for ourselves by example, Red Network helps to enhance. It also is said to help, quite fittingly when you consider that the markings are referred to as ‘veining’, stabilize and strengthen the circulatory system, as well as detoxifying the body, particularly blood and liver. It is also believed to help with general aches and pains.

Another property it has is what I refer to as ‘worldliness’ – an ability to not just look within but beyond as well. In other words, at the same time as helping us stay grounded and assisting with our psychic and astral endeavors, it also enables us to see the bigger picture and gives us the awareness to see how we can help others in seeking their greater happiness and good.

All in all, this simple looking stone is quite the powerhouse, and certainly one to keep in mind if looking for a little something to boost not only health and wellbeing (both mental and physical) but also one’s own self-esteem. After all, if crystals can be seen as all the more beautiful for their ‘flaws’, why can’t we?

tip for people with chronic pain/fatigue: lay down occasionally. haven't laid down in the past 3-5 hours? do it (if you can) and see how you feel. i've found that i'll lay down in bed just to be in my room, but then i get hit with an instant wave of relief because just sitting on the couch was too much for my body, and i didn't realize it.

when you're in pain or fatigued for a long time, your awareness of your body may get wonky - especially if you already struggle w/interoception due to neurodivergency. so. test it, sometimes. you can apply it to other things too: sit if you're standing. stop doing a task if you've been doing it for a while. have a small snack to see if you're hungry. etc. etc.

I don't tend to reblog tips, for the simple reason that they're so subjective that they may literally work for only one person. However, I just tried this. When I say just, I mean I'm currently typing this while lying in a recliner (touch typing comes in super handy at times like this. Thank you, Grade Four!). It's working. I was feeling incredibly fatigued, in the 'I'm about to zonk out completely' sense, so I reclined the chair. Once I passed roughly the 45 degree point, I immediately felt a wave of what I can only term as relief at the change in position. It was like my body suddenly figured out where blood should circulate to. I don't feel any more energetic, but the brief sense of relief was wonderful. I'm sorry to say that this is beyond accurate. It's heartbreaking to see how many people simply...vanish from your life when you're no longer a constant presence or consistently able to provide 'tea'.

I've got hundreds of 'friends' on multiple networks, and I can count on one hand the number of people who actively share or even acknowledge when I post something - two hands if I count people I don't know well but treat me well because we met through partners-, even when it's been quite literally regarding loss of a family member or trying to raise money to permit myself to feel like a productive human being again.

Are those with chronic illnesses no longer valid, or are we just not valuable?

Yes, I'm sharing content that isn't specifically business-related, but I feel, as a healing blog as well as a business, sharing things like this is vital. I myself needed to hear a lot of these things, so I'm betting at least a few others who see this will as well. Remember: as a support group leader once told me, while we may be labeled as 'disabled', that simply makes us 'differently abled', and we're not 'abnormal', because there's no such thing as 'normal'. Everyone has their own normal, so you make yours the best normal it can be for you. If that means sitting upside down in a chair eating Cheetos with chopsticks and watching reruns of Scooby Doo in your 30s, so be it.

What sort of beads would you suggest to represent the different lgbtq+ flags? Sorry if it takes a while/multiple posts, there are a lot of flags XD particularly interesting in the ace flag and the general pride flag.

No apologies needed hun (forgive the pet name, I call everyone hun lol)! I'm a member of the community myself - specifically grey-ace pan - so the LGBTQ+ themes are very close to my heart. In fact, I've been considering having a staple line of bracelets for specific causes/ meanings, and one of the two branches I was looking at is just that!

I apologise for taking so long to respond, but given the number of flags and the number of crystals I have, I wanted to make sure I gave them a good, proper think-through, rather than randomly assigning them. While they may be assigned more for color than meaning, that doesn't mean they should be arbitrary, after all.

I will actually do a separate post for the flag category as a whole, since there are such a large number of them, but I did give a lot of thought to these two in particular, both because they're so close to home and because those were the ones you were most curious about.

I think, for the general pride flag, I would go for a chalcedony mix for the flag portion of the bracelet and then something like an obsidian or tourmaline for the remainder, to make it 'pop', or any bead preferred, really. That may sound lazy, but I feel that using all different colors of chalcedony not only allows for the bracelet to have a coherent 'tone' to the rainbow beads (same transparency and vibrance all across), but it represents equality that way - no one bead is 'better' or 'more valuable' than the rest, since all are versions of the same crystal. Yes, they're dyed crystals, and I normally lean toward the natural ones if I can, but in this instance, I think there's no beating them, really.

As for the Ace flag, that one gave me a bit more pause, because I wanted to be as careful as I could when it came to design. What I ended up with were two possible designs. Each would be on a band of whichever crystal was preferred (so it could be Tea Jasper or Sodalite, or anything that was calling to you), but would be surrounded on each side (as would the Pride flag) by a Clear Quartz bead, to mark off the flag itself. These were the designs I thought of (with some help from my partners):

Black Tourmaline, Picasso Jasper, White Agate, Amethyst

Black Obsidian, Picasso Jasper, White Agate, Lepidolite

Both schemes include Picasso and White Agate because I feel they bring the best colors for the flag, but with one, you have more transparency in the colors, while with the other, there's more opacity. Also, the former pattern is designed with the non-VIP Black Tourmaline in mind, as it has quartz inclusions in it. This, to me, signifies that there are a wide variety of types of Asexuality on the spectrum, and all deserve to be counted.

Hi there! A friend of mine linked this blog over to me recently since you talk a lot about what the crystals do, and I've been trying to get into that! If you don't mind answering, what sort of thing would you suggest for someone who suffers from a lot of brain fog and tiredness? Mine's been getting so much worse recently and nothing I've tried has helped so far, but I've been told that crystals can be really helpful for this sort of thing.

Hi there fellow Spoonie! Boy, do I feel you on the brain fog and tiredness. As a Chronic Fatigue sufferer, that's something I deal with every day too, so this one was very close to home. Hence the delay in replying - I wanted to make sure that I got the best possible collection of options for you from what I have.

Bear in mind that a lot of crystals will resonate differently for different people. For example, most people find Yooperlite to be a stress reliever, but I personally find it to be an immense energy booster, hence my including it here (no joke, when I first held one of my Yooperlite towers, I felt goosebumps all over from a literal rush of energy. Might just be that that's 'my stone', but it's worth mentioning!).

It can also often be that the stones you're drawn to are the right ones for you. You may see rose quartz, one of the most loving and calming stones and think 'I need that' for no reason at all, but it may turn out to give you exactly the brain boost you need.

Below is a short-form list of the crystals I have that I think may be most to your advantage, with simply a tag as to which aspect they may help with. If there are any others you'd like to know about, or you'd simply like me to give a more detailed profile of any of them, by all means let me know and I'll gladly use them as my next Crystals of the Day! Not sure how much you know about various fandoms, so I'm sorry if this is unfamiliar, but I saw someone mention Thorin and you said you would offer stuff inspired by fandoms so... If you were gonna make one based of Ghost (Simon Riley) from either of the Modern Warfare 2 versions, what crystals would you use? I'm in a bit of a brainrot about him atm

I'm absolutely always willing to work with any fandom, thank you! I have to admit, I haven't played the games myself, but my partner is somewhat hooked on the franchise, so I deferred to him for more guidance on what suited Ghost best, since he's much more familiar with the character. Between us, we came up with these combos, with an emphasis on both the meanings and the colors. They may seem a little plain, but Ghost seems the simplistic type, so that seemed fitting. 2009 version - Black Tourmaline and Clear Quartz Later version - Silver Sheen Obsidian and Selenite We also took the liberty of narrowing down what we think might suit Soap, and came up with Sodalite (or Lapis for a VIP version) and Black Rutile.

There's just one major thing that I don't think is acknowledged enough about late diagnosed autistics/ADHD (and probably other neurodivergences):

The floor drops away from under you when you're diagnosed as an adult.

You've spent years perfecting coping mechanisms, setting masks perfectly in place, practicing socialising, forcing things that made you uncomfortable or confused (for reasons you couldn't comprehend).

Then you get the diagnosis and... That's it. No one tells you what to do. How to cope, how to survive.

All you know is that you've spent your life hurting yourself. Your mental health is shot, you're most likely depressed, anxious, burntout...

And you never had to do that. It didn't have to be that way.

I'm not saying I wished I was diagnosed as a child. I don't. That would have a whole other bag of problems.

I just wish there was more in place for us. I wish we weren't abandoned by the medical community at 18.

This is the other side of my illness scenario, and one I wish on noone. I'm 38 and was diagnosed Autistic a couple of months ago. Everywhere I look, there's support for children with Autism, but I've yet to find anywhere with anything but broad, vague information for late-diagnosed ASD-people.

The only thing I've found in my area is, ironically, a support group for Neurodivergent people. Aka an in-person and/or video-based gathering for people who frequently have trouble coping with gatherings. Tell me why that doesn't compute. I'll give you a moment.

The only recommendation my psychiatrist gave me was to see a therapist. Therapists here are not covered by health care or disability, and appointments are recommended to be once or twice a week. Most cost around $200 a session, with 'low-income' options of $180 (what a discount!). Without going into depth about my income, once I remove my bills, expenses, etc, I can afford a grand total of.... no sessions.

If there is no support available in person one-on-one, and virtually none online, what do late-diagnosed people do, aside from wish?

But, after seeing numerous doctors and specialists, no one can give her an answer as to what the issue could be, and instead dismiss her concerns with claims that she’s simply depressed about being single or getting older. This is the exact illness and scenario I was faced with. Multiple doctors explained me away as depressed or lazy or that it was 'all in my head'. In actual fact, it took over 15 years to be diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, by which time I *was* depressed, and was thinking it *was* all in my head.

Yes, this is a business blog, but this is also a wellness blog, and sharing my own experience can, I hope, help contribute to the wellness of others and also explain why I am so dead-set on making Corvus Luna *work*: I refuse to be another number in a doctor's chart, and I refuse to let others who are seen by doctors and dismissed believe that they are simply imagining illnesses that are just not fully understood yet. If science can't fully explain why Chronic Fatigue Syndrome is a thing, then who are they to tell us crystals have no abilities or that their power is a placebo effect? If Sodalite calms my anxiety, or if Rose Quartz makes me feel happy or Citrine makes me feel a little more peppy, does it matter *how*? I don't think so
