Okay this one was actually super fun. I absolutely love Sapphire. I started doodling a Ruby after this, but I didn’t like it as much and as of now it’s unfinished. (I overblended and didn’t realize it until I had finished coloring oops)

Paper doll WIP for one of my OCs, Anna. Hoping to eventually make one of these for each of my characters. Also forcing myself to try to do soft blending rather than cel-shading, playing with lining with the pencil tool in FireAlpaca; it’s a lot more comfortable for me, but I feel the quality is inconsistent.

Unsure if I should tag this as mature but just to be on the safe side...

Blog Update

Heyo! Figured I’d post a quick update since I kinda haven’t been here in forever. Since graduating I’ve got a day job that, as of right now, takes up most of my mental energy. By the time I get home, I tend to be incredibly low on spoons. I’m trying to force myself to schedule my day so as to force myself to actually complete basic and necessary tasks. Hopefully this winds up encouraging me to actually create and share more art/designs, aka the original purpose of this blog.

I’m going to queue up the few things I have accomplished since school, and with any luck, there’ll be more to come soon.

As much as I hate to admit it, my day job is my priority right now. I’m saving up and almost have enough for a down payment on a car. After that, money will be going towards my eventual move to California, where hopefully I can establish myself a bit better, someplace a lot better for my mental and physical health.

To any of you who even remember who I am, thank you so much. I’m sorry I’m so inconsistent. I know it’s not okay. I’m going to try to be better.
