If you can't handle much, stop reading cause this might take a while
Okay so I have not said a word about season 4 concidering it is such a touchy season for me since I am a muslim girl. But now I cannot hold anymore.
Imane's character during this season was weong on so many levels, it was wrong to send the mail we know it, wrong to keep lying about it, wrong to speak in Alexia's shoes about the casting, wrong to keep attacking Ingrid even when she had a good reason but doing it multiple times like that is not okay, she should have said something clearly the first time Ingrid said a racist comment like : girl this isn't cool, you can't say stuff like that, straightforward. She also kept lashing out on her parents for no apparent reason most of time which is not okay. But we agree she was angry and had reasons and was upset and is a teenager and so it's okay to make mistakes and it's great that she learned feom those mistakes and got her friends back.
Speaking of those friends; the Girl Squad really messed up this time, they were unsupportive most of the season but really had my blood boiling last week when they DITCHED her so publicaly taking Ingrid's side and then went for DRINKS WITH INGRID like girls??? They were really shitty to her this season even if she wasn't the best person they didn't even let her explain.
Which brings me to the explanations.
Charles and the mail, Charles was aweful to Manon in London, with what he said, he was protecting his brother yes but he shouldn't have, and then coming back was proof he really did love her and it's good but that Doesn't mean they fight for 3 weeks and huge immense drama and pain and then boom back together because why the hell not. No. She needs to heal, and he needs to understand what is wrong and that his actions are not acceptable.
As for the main reason, Sofiane. Now, don't get me wrong, I ship them, but for me, it was too much, she knows for a fact she cannot be with him, and yet keeps leading him on and this last scene had me on my toes and if you ask me was too touchy feely, she was fasting a few hours ago and then she dances intimetly with a guy like that? I'm sorry that is not our life, Skam is more realistic than that.
Maybe you won't understand my point of view, won't agree with what I said, won't be happy about some things, but this is what I think. As much as I would like Sofiane et Imane to be together, in our religion they cannot unless he converts because as head of the family he must be Muslim to raise his kids in the muslim way, to feed and cloth them with Halal money, this is our religion and we know that it will not change.
But as this is just a show and Sofimane id bound to be endgame, we still ship them and hope for the best.
