Today's recurring video game pet peeve: buttons that you only press by mistake.
In the Dark Souls series, you can kick an enemy instead of attacking. The tactical uses for this are so niche that I never figured out how to do it. All I know is that the button combination is similar to the one for attacking, because sometimes I would try to attack and my character would kick instead.
In Silksong, one of the available Crests adds an alternate mode to your heal skill - if you hold up on the analog stick when using it, you instead recharge your limited-use-per-rest tools. I never used this alternate mode, so the practical impact is that in incredibly tense moments where I was one hit away from death, I had to be very careful not to touch the analog stick when hitting the heal button.
Then again, this sort of problem is hardly limited to games. My new laptop at work has some sort of "minimize all my open windows" gesture on the touchpad which I keep accidentally performing just by trying to scroll a webpage.
Dude the Architect Crest's up + heal is half the point of using it to begin with! It lets you absolutely puke out enough red tools to obliterate any encounter in the game. Three red slots + a full bench reload means *three times* as much ammo as Hunter or Reaper.
The re-arm is what makes Architect so disgustingly good!
If you're not using the Architect Crest's specific trait, you shouldn't be using the Architect crest at all.
The dark souls kick is for any enemy that hides behind a shield for eternity before trying to hit you. It puts the enemy in a semi stagger state and lets you whack them.
