I keep going back and forth between to the two while drawing him and I want to know the general consensus:
Are Jack’s eyes
The darkest brown in existence.
Staring into your soul forest green.
Okay so I’ve tried my best to solve this debacle:
So my Jack Townsend (Tales From The Gas Station) is in a platonic relationship with Ryland Grace (Project Hail Mary ) and they adopted Lightning McQueen (Cars) and the three live together.
I love Tomodachi Life.
i wrote down a drawing idea for later but then i realised i can draw in the notes app
I’m practicing perspective with a 3 model but I guess all roads lead to Amy O’Brien

Are Jack’s eyes

Listening to this song and thinking about Sabine
When someone turns out to be all of your worst traits manifested in person form you tend to get a bit gay with it.
I understand why Jerry ran away to live with a murder cult now. I really get it.
I keep thinking about the chapter in Vol. 3 after the mimic war in the gas station. Jack despite all the valid fears and suspicions of the new Jerry let’s go of all of it and follows him out of his post. I think a partial reasoning for this is within the “months” of him fighting these creatures, he’s lost every tangible thing he could’ve called normal: Rosa, O’Brien, the person that was surely Jerry, and towards the end, the gas station itself as it slowly crumples apart with the lack of costumers.
And in this brief interaction with “Jerry”, even though his survival instinct scream to have him run, hide, and fight once again, he looses that too.
He follows “Jerry” because it’s the last chance for normalcy (whatever “normalcy” looks like to Jack). This chance is the one thing he hasn’t lost just yet, and he takes it despite the dangers that could come.
And if Jerry turned out to be replaced, at least the last thing Jack would’ve seen was a familiar face. The same face that helped him through the war day one.
I think this scene is what makes the series so special in my mind, the way Jack Townsend (the author) writes these somewhat serious moments. It’s never overtly stated because our narrator is emotionally constipated and unreliable. But through these little actions and conversations, we can either choose to have a serious literary analysis or we could just leave it to the literal text. Yippee.
Jack doesn't know how to ask. He knows he doesn't really have to, that they're fine and always have been, but the way the question surfaces in his mind every now and again has him itching to drain it out.
"Do you ever feel uncomfortable when you remember that I...lived your past?" His voice gets smaller, "The worst parts?"
"Nah. Well, not really. I was gonna tell you that stuff anyways, there just hadn't been the right organic moments." Jerry takes a drag off the blunt, passes it back.
"Okay." Jack just holds the thing and watches it burn for a second. "But I mean...it's different than that, isn't it? I think in Rosa's case, she was even more freaked out than she let on. I mean, I was you. I was there, I felt it all."
"Hey man, I'm the one who left you unattended with the toad milk."
He gives a light chuckle. "Yeah, but I mean...still."
"Think of it this way! I never have to introduce you to my family!"
Jack takes the smallest puff, just enough to keep it lit. "Oh yeah, that was totally in the cards."
It'd practically been gallow's humor (a hint of flirting, too?), but the moment filters lighter anyway, a glow that lends itself to Jack's heart. As a chronic overthinker, pot isn't really his thing, but it's so much easier – fun, even, when Jerry's there. He doesn't need to say anything else; just from Jerry's tone, he can tell his concern had basically been a nonthing.
Jerry goes on, though, with a mix of regret and fondness, "I wish you could've lived the best parts, too, though. You deserve it! Would've been like a vacation you never got to have."
"That's so...sweet?" He's offered the blunt again, but gestures for Jerry to finish it. He doesn't mention that Sabine probably wouldn't have showed up to a bunch of house parties and international getaways, that the hurt was the point, because Jerry's giving him a look that makes him feel funny. "How about you tell me about them instead?"
tftg's headcanons:
Sexuality/gender hc's:
Jack: bisexual, demisexual/romantic, transmasc, He/Him

Benji: Gay (mlm), cis He/Him
Travis: Same as Benji but has a bit of internalized homophobia
Spencer: Gay (mlm), He/Him

At the disco, blink-182, BBNO$, Weezer, They Might be Giants, CAKE, Katy Perry, The Offspring, Green Day, The Beatles, Smash Mouth, MLP/Equestria Girls Soundtrack, Chappell Roan, Charli xcx, The Cure, Red Hot Chili Peppers, David Bowie, Fall out boy, Queen, Dua Lipa, Will Wood and The Tapeworms

Random:- Jack has mixed feelings on Twilight (book series/movies). On one hand, the relationships are awful and unhealthy... but the werewolves are hot.
-Jack is so autistic it's basically canon
- Rosa unironically likes twilight a lot
- Rosa forced Jack and Jerry to watch Kpop demon hunters (they liked it more than her)
- Similarly, Jerry and Rosa forced Jack to watch ALL of mlp and he loved it (Luna and Fluttershy are his favorites)
- Jack and Jerry kissed for the first time after Bedside Manor
- Rosa paints/has painted Jack, Jerry, and the dark gods nails
- Gaston still thinks he's a puppy so he's surprised when he knocks Jack down after running at him, full speed
-Jack cried after Rita died, he just doesn't remember (ughhhhhh why did Spencer half to kill herrrr????)
- Jerry has his ears, eyebrow, and nose pierced, Rosa has her ears and nose pierced, and Jack has his ears pierced (Jerry convinced him to while they were both drunk and somehow they didn't get infected)
- Rosa dyes her hair every month
-Jack's favorite animals are deer and rats, Jerry's are dogs and tigers, and Rosa's are all animals
Found these in my notes app, thought I should post them :)

jack on the road trying all kinds of soap and shampoo to get rid of the smell of his old town, scrubbing until his skin grows irritated. after a few months he realizes he doesn’t smell like his town anymore. he’s moved onto greener pastures, he’s no longer trapped in the gas station’s and TDG’s stagnant funk. he smells of rosa’s body spray and shampoo, jerry’s blunts and cologne, and gaston’s doggie-ness. he smells of new things, new places he thought he’d ever see. pine trees, salty sea water, or an empty desert. he smells of an ever-moving home
I feel like these song lyrics are so Jack and Jerry coded, like I feel like these are the unspoken parts of their relationship. Especially if you think of the old friend as Tony or Sabine.
