The dichotomy of Grian, someone that I doubt anyone would assume was unsupportive of the lgbt community but simply grew in the early 2010s where creators just Didn’t Talk About this stuff, getting his chat invaded by aggressive homophobes in his mainstream audience to the point where he had to disable his chat

VS Techno, someone with nearly double his viewer base who has been in controversy and accused of being phobic over past actions, having his audience donate probably around 1/3 of the proceeds alone because he grew in the late 2010s where it is now incredibly common for creators like him to openly and verbally show support
