I am super excited for the new tables but I feel particularly excited for the Seekers Table by premise alone: The original three anti-Thjazi PCs, Vaelus, Julien and Bolaire, on an adventure with a close associate of Thjazi's, to learn about Thjazi's plots and schemes, with Thjazi's secret organisation and contacts. Accompannied by Thjazi's number one supporter and best friend, Thimble. And now Thjazi himself as well?? Yeah.

I love how we got confirmation this cooldown from Brennan that Yes, Thjazi was the shadow that tried to choke Julien to death on the way to Tannesar, but it was under the context of leaving Aranessa behind and being Big Mad TM about it. So now to me it just reads as:

"You left Nessa??! >:( You leave Nessa behind?!?!? >:( Death!! Death by choking for a thousand years!!"

It's actually really problematic to make fun of Julien Davinos, because he suffers from the extremely rare and underrepresented Will Actually Die If He Tells Another Person He Wants Them To Be Safe Because He Cares About Them Syndrome, so he has no choice but to do all these insane mental gymnastics where everything is somehow all about his edgy anime boy revenge quest and nothing else even when it obviously is not, he has to do it for his health.

I do think the ability to emoji-react is a net win for human communication. not only does it give you an outlet for 'I see and acknowledge this but don't have a verbal response' but it also adds a pleasing alethiometer element to things
