iOS 9

Dearest Apple, The new features on iOS 9 are amazing. The notes are awesome now. More battery life, yippee! The multitasking is fantastic, and the new font look is cool. But one thing about this update that I wish never happened was the new apps. Find Friends is on the App Store. Why do I NEED to have it on my phone? Most of my friends either don’t have an iPhone or don’t use the app. I only have an 8gb phone, 6gb of space, and I only have 8 apps on my phone and 1gb of music and I still don’t have enough space as it is. I don’t need Find Friends or Watch, or Wallet on my phone. If I did I would have downloaded it from the lovely App Store. I understand having certain apps like calendar, Safari, or even News. But not Watch. I DON’T EVEN HAVE A WATCH. I don’t use half the apps on this phone and I can’t even delete them. Thanks for your consideration, but I don’t need these. -A considerate Apple lover

That moment when you catch yourself still thinking about a person that you were close to. A best friend. Even though it has been a month or two, and you know things won't go back to the way they were. But you catch yourself, thinking about all the memories, all the good times, inside jokes, and fun you had. Losing a best friend. Losing the other half of yourself. Fearing that they don’t admire the friendship as fondly as you do. Fearing that they just don't care that you're gone. Why can’t things go back to the way they were before? You know you're growing up, and things are changing, but can’t there just be ONE thing that stays consistent? One person that stays in your life.

Dani catches a glimpse of red hair and turns around, and then there he was standing right there with his smile and his eyes crinkling at the corner.

“Crews,” she returns amicable, and finds to her surprise that the anger and hurt she felt all the years ago has faded into scar tissue. 

Its been years since they last saw each other, since their last car ride together and since Dani walked away because she had to walk away. She didn’t want to but for all of Charlie’s zen he couldn’t let go of the conspiracy that destroyed his life. 

She looked up one day and realized this can’t be her life, not after fighting tooth and nail at getting better and so when they finally took down the whole organization she told Charlie she was done. 

Los Angeles was in her bones, deep in her blood but the lure of ambition and self preservation called her away. The FBI, the real FBI (she had the offer triple checked) offered her a job and she took it and it brought her to DC. 

“You look good,” he tells her. “FBI looks good on you.”

Her mouth quirks up but says instead, “What are you doing here, Charlie?” 

“There’s a saying you can’t reach what’s in front of you until you let go of what’s behind you.” He looks up briefly into the sky before looking back down at Dani. “I’m no longer attached to what’s behind me.” 

Dani looks at him and realization comes to her in a steady stream. “And what are you attached to now?”

He raises his hand, a bridge between them. “You.”
