Jango- about his clones
I know people look at this like he's just dismissing his clones, but to me, he always looked regretful here. He's not saying he isn't proud of his clones. But rather that he's not proud of himself. He sees the clones and their personalities and is ashamed of the deal he made.
Unpopular opinion but I think Palpatine would treat the Coruscant Guard so well -
I know we all love the agast it brings to have them mistreated, but it's Palpatine. He's slimy, and cunning. I think he'd spoil them. Make them seem more important than the other Clones. Yeah the majority of the senators and many of the civilians treat them worse than droids, and they don't get to fight alongside their brothers, but all the more reason to keep these guys happy. Especially Fox, who canonically wants to kill things.
Palpatine wouldn't abuse them. He'd treat them like they were his best men... until he didn't need them anymore. That's how the Chancellor works.
Just felt that I needed to add that Fox still hates Palpatine. Did Palpatine do anything specially to Fox for him to earn this hatred? No. It's not even like Fox can just tell he's evil. To Fox, Palpatine is fully genuinely a good person, and Fox just hates it.
Fox: (gets called in to the Chancellor's office for a report)
Palpatine: my dear commander, have a seat.
Fox: no
Palpatine: would you care for some caf?
Fox: ... Fine.
Anytime Palpatine overhears some complaints about living/working situations of the CG he's sure step in and make accommodating changes (most where the jedi can see him). From better food rations to new cooling and heating systems, he takes care of the Corries.
Palpatine: think nothing of it commander. After all you do for us, it is merely my duty to see that you and your men are comfortable.
Fox: sir, we're clones-
Palpatine kindly and within earshot of the jedi: you are men.

It's like having a teenager. You gotta let them make mistakes before coming to the correct conclusion for themselves. Just don't give up on her.
Tales of the Fallen, issue 2
or Sideswipe Needs A Hug.
The premise is that the refugees our boy was guarding back on Cybertron were massacred by Demolishor. Sideswipe didn’t quite die and now chases Demolishor on Earth, nursing a grudge and some intense survivor’s guilt.
Fun stuff.
Wheeljack is combat partners with Mirage in the comics and cheerily calls him His Nibs. This is the Bayverse content I like to see.
He’s also beautiful in the comics, I don’t know why they had to use that horrid, humanoid design in the movie.
So we had 2 deeply rooted relationships in DotM between Ironhide and Sideswipe, and Mirage/Dino and Wheeljack/Que, and instead of a solid heart felt moment of sadness when their friends/mentors die, we get Bumblebee going “I’m sad” for less than a minute COMBINED. Like how could you miss, it was right there in front of you!?
(Also I had to look up the word ‘nubs’ and it literally means important person. Like why is that so cute☺)
I knoww, it just - it boggles the mind how many opportunities the movies wasted to make us feel for the characters. Like Wheeljack and Mirage as battle bros is unexpectedly the cutest thing evar and there’s only a few comic panels of that, so it’s not like I’m asking for much here, Bay.

My family reunions are incredibly small bc everyone's either dead or in jail, and I think that's also very mandalorian of us. Our family gatherings also usually involve blowing something up in the woods behind my uncles house, and knives, and guns.
I think that’s why wide, gender neutral terms for relationship like “vod,” “ad,” “buir,” or “ba’vodu” are so prevalent. That quiet anxiety of “I don’t know who the osik you are, you’re family, I haven’t seen or talked to you in years, and if we talk long enough maybe I’ll remember you…but I still got to call you something.”
Imagine shouting "buir" and over half the adults respond.😂

I don't think they'd let a clone out with Alzheimer's or schizophrenia, so that means the poor dude has been depressed since childhood. (Makes sense.) To make matters worse, the wiki claims this is the reason he had a hard time bonding with his batch mates.
Thank God for Bacara and WAC, or I'd probably start crying.
If we ever get a 'Tales of the Clones' or even A Clone Wars spin off, I need to see Neyo and WAC interact, just for one episode.

But also, their biological "dad", jango, is an enemy of the Jedi, and also tried to kill Anakin's wifey, at the request of Count Dooku but had a weird situationship with Dooku, who is as obi-wan's grandpa-master.
Rethinking about the scene where Bob comes out of his hiding spot in the vault when he hears people laughing. Didn't think much of it when I first saw it, but now that I know he came from an abusive home it just hits different. He hid when he saw conflict and came out when he felt safe and I-😢😭
One of the things I do love about 'blood of Zeus' is the saying-
"Out of every one hundred men, ten shouldn't even be there, eighty are just targets, nine are the real fighters, and we are lucky to have them, for they make the battle. Ah, but the one, one is a warrior, and he will bring the others back."
Come to find out they didn't make it up, but while I love it it feels out of place for a story that doesn't have battles spanning more than one episode. This type of quote feels like it would be better in a Trojan War type story.
