This boy. He uses words like “fragile” and “pterodactyl” but still can’t say bridge or yellow (brinch and lewwar will do fine). He’s hilarious and stubborn and still hates going in his car seat half the time.

And now he’s started peeing in the toilet. Maybe only once a day before his bath but who cares, we’re excited!

In March, I couldn't run the length of myself. There were a couple of glitches but I finally got back on track. This week, I was only managing 2 runs instead of 3 and my distance was pretty short of what I needed, the c25k app gave me an "either or" and I did the time but not the distance. I went out today hoping to push for 4.5 (big jump from the 3.8km I did on Wednesday) but I took it very easy and just had a wee feeling that I could maybe do a bit more. And I did. I know I won't be winning any prizes but I honestly doubted that I'd ever be able to do this. I am really proud of myself. So is the cow.

This little boy can be a wee shite sometimes but as his Auntie @iamlucyspet would say, he’s hella cute.

Week 4 Day 1 of C25K. Was dreading it cos it’s a big jump up from last week. I had to shout at myself to keep going and I was going so slowly I was almost in reverse but I did it.

I was an avid reader. Nothing high-falluting but I always had something on the go. I think I've posted about it before but a few years ago, I lost my book mojo. I've struggled through a few but it was an effort. It didn't feel the same. I miss it - the thrill, the emotions, the lot. So I'm going to try and kickstart it again. Picked this at random in Tesco tonight. Fingers crossed.

What a boy! My baby is two. Every day, he makes me laugh. He saying lots of words (his favourite is "tunnel"), is unbelievably independent (he says "do it!" which means "no, mummy, don't help me, I can do this myself without any assistance, whether it takes me an hour or not...), he recognises numbers and some letters, knows his colours (he can't say yellow therefore it doesn't exist), can say his name (Ooooweees). Ruairidh is so funny and smart and inquisitive. A wee bold adventurer!
