My favorite Shoyru for Shoyru day(April 2nd); Cog. . . the owner of the Tog shop down in Moltara.

Or more specifically my interpretation of her younger--junk rummaging--self. Yes, yes, poor and/or resourceful gadgeteer trope but like, she's in the clothing/outfit industry!

The clothes are a mix of old pre-customization stuff Ellia sells/sold, and knitting kit results. The latter was inspired by how the 'Cogs Gear Cape' item states that Cog can hand sew so she isn't all machines.

Transparent/Pirate crosspaint Kiko who pilots an airship. I love Captain Dread's design so I've made my own Jolly Roger Kiko.

Macky Guyver. Lenny oc created years ago that also has human design(s). Macky was an engineer for his crew. Nowadays he would still be a tinkerer with the added detail of being from Moltara.(secretly)

A happy little Meerca in a fuzzy parka carrying some Neggs. Non-canon ones that should not be trusted. unnamed OC

Torakor the Gladiator. I'm not the biggest Altador(place) fan, but he is my favorite of the protectors by virtue of being a Grarrl. Also liked his story best of the lot.

Poogle Racers. Specifically the over-the hill one and the doesn't-exercise-enough one.

Results of design studying Steampunk Shoyru for my oc's sake. I wish these costumes could be split into more parts. Is the shirt beneath the coat long sleeved or short? One can only make assumptions. Well, anyway. Thanks for looking.

Jetsams. First one was me messing around with the ink wash brush. It seems like it hasn't been uploaded yet so I'm bundling it with a more recent take of the species.

The second is single layer with a lowered opacity pencil to make drawing feel more like what I'm used to in real media. Both were practice in values for greyscale bases/underlayers. Though the latter just evolved into a Silver painted dude. Also an anthro design test.

This was initially done for Neovember's (paraphrased) 'your neopet as a petpet' prompt. Turbo late unfortunately.

I was kinda working in reverse as the neo-oc in question hadn't been finalized yet. Honestly Off's still a work in progress. Hope y'all enjoy this Steampunk/Magma crosspaint being Meepit-tized.

Igneot, the clairvoyant leader of the Magma Caves, or at least 'Neopian of high regard'. The Neopedia doesn't provide any authoritative title or label for him, but he did seem to hold lots of sway during the AOTA plot.

One layer picture of Blumaroo I kept working on until things got kinda laggy. The backdrop was an attempt at Roo Island. Most of the clothes are made up, or based purely on memory.

Had intended on finishing this piece while their respective days were running the prior month. Obviously kept putting it aside until now-ish.

The Quiggle's expression was an artifact of the Nimmo being a crab in an earlier draft/sketch. But now they're just offput by how close this Nimmo is, said frog means well.

Practicing color blending techniques that were traditional media inspired in the first piece. Second piece is some Meerca Mad Scientist supervillain or something.

Monty's picture spent a lot of time with a black beak because I first thought he was a Christmas Vandagyre. Then I gave his character art another look and WOOPS--it's yellow!

Which led to a phase where I thought it was gold due to him augmenting his beak into that material to flaunt his wealth from the Obsidian industry. Also, some Moltarans seem to have rustic cybernetics and/or metallic modifications as per the basis of Steampunk PB's retro cyborg look.

No narrative was intended between the images, just thought the side by side placement would be amusing.
