The bell tolls one last time, don’t ignore the warning signs alerting you.

You’ve lived a lie till now. You’ve got to face reality from here on.

Your mere existence until now is just a shred of what you’re capable of. You shall seek eternal wisdom, for that your essence itself becomes immortal.

Is it worth risking everything you hold dearly for enlightenment, you may ask. The temptation of the harmony of a simple life lingers over you. It would be just too easy to continue on your familiar path. It bears no challenges, no struggle.

But the convincing comfort of ordinary order should not weaken your spirit!

Is it righteous to withhold the world of your true potential? Is it not the honorable duty of mankind to find out, what holds the earth together in its innermost elements?

The decryption of the universe, the greatest mission of humanity, shall become your epitaph!

Would child you be disappointed, if they saw you now?

I was born from desire and a hunger to fill the void, that mortal beings long to appease. That was my purpose, the only reason I was created. Ingredients humanity is longing for are what I am made of. Designated to meet my fate, I decided to outrun my destiny and creator. I started rolling in the opposite direction of where I was supposed to go, without a clear destination or goal in mind. The human desire for joy and fulfillment is as strong as their survival instinct, often even more overwhelming than the latter, making one lose sight of what is right or wrong, taking control over thought and action. I am the equivalent of this longing people seek after. The one who can even corrupt the purest soul. As I am rolling through this world, encountering new individuals every day, I can claim for certain, that there is no one in this place, who can resist even the thought to indulge in me. Intelligence or power mean nothing in front of my enticing composition. It seems almost laughable to me how weak-minded mankind is, when I see their desperate attempts at outwitting me. Nothing but puny selfish motives are what is driving them. I refuse to accept, that this is what I was supposed to exist for. I am not a mere tool to satisfy an egocentric desire.

Am I forced to continue rolling down a path leading to nowhere?

Will I ever be able to come to terms with my fate, I so desperately try to escape?

Is it the achievement of your destiny, that grants eternity to your existence?

As we strive for certainty to feel reassured and safe, we often don’t realize that certainty inevitably takes us further away from realization and truth. Truth is not always predictable and may change or vary, depending on perspective. Therefore, it is important to remind ourselves, that everything we consider fact or canon is in fact dependent on paradigm and conditioning. Freeing ourselves of the overconfident certainty, that dominates our modern society, is a crucial action we must take to lead us closer to the truth we so desperately want to attain.
