I don't know how people who consider themselves progressives can say stuff like "there will only be peace in the Middle East if Jews stop trying to live in the Judea and Samaria - wait, the West Bank." You're essentially saying we'll only stop killing each other if the area is completely Jew-Free.
You know I could declare that barring anyone but Jews to live in Judea and Samaria will create peace in the middle east. But that's arguably genocidal and a promotion of ethnic cleansing, isn't it? But I guess it's socially acceptable to be such when it's against Jews?
Like if we look at the relevant precedent of Jews ethnically cleansing themselves from an area in an attempt to coexist peacefully with our neighbors: we get the Gaza-Israel conflict. I don't think anyone rational would claim that brought us closer to peace in the middle east.
I don't know how anyone with a smidge of self-respect can advocate for something in regards to a conflict they don't even know the basic history about. These people just parrot the mainstream anti-western narrative, and haven't given the slightest bit of thought, like: hmm, maybe Arab and Muslim colonialism, which conquered most of this land, had a hand in shaping that narrative?
Like, the mainstream narrative in the Islamic and Arab world is pro-colonialism, pro-forced faith, anti-minority rights, and anti-diversity. And it remains that, even when they dress it up in progressive speech that somehow is only applicable to them and no other community.
So, progressives that stand by this anti-human rights narrative either don't give a shit about those human rights and it's all lip-service for virtue signalling points (just like that mainstream narrative); or, they're so racist they don't believe any of these values are applicable to those of us who live in the Middle East.
Like the world is built on what is considered socially acceptable. Jews have rarely ever been that, and yet we've still thrived. So, I give less than a single shit what people who think they can determine where Jews should be allowed to live think. Like, please stop, you're making a fool of yourself.
