Once saw someone on TikTok complain about how the chatfics they read never sounded like real fanfics and 1. Have you considered that most people who write fics are gay and that gay people tend to be neurodivergent and neurodivergent people tend to be physical disabled and that all of those groups often feel ostracized by the people around them? 2. Have you considered that there’s a loneliest epidemic with people in general 3. Have you considered that writing a group chat like a real one would only hinder how creative you can be and that it would most likely just be boring as hell??? 4. The point of fanfics is to be creative not to be realistic, they can be realistic if that’s what the author is going for but they don’t have to be!
