You know what else was invented by women? Masked vigilantes, the precursor to the modern superhero. Baroness Emma Orczy wrote The Scarlet Pimpernel in 1905. The character would later inspire better known masked vigilantes such as Zorro and Batman.

Recommendations: Inception Smut Top 5

Haven’t done any recommendations yet this week! In honor of…being horny, I guess(?) here are my current Top 5 Inception smut stories. Some of these are quite plotty, and some of them are things I have recommended already, but in this case I’m recommending them based on the heat factor alone.

We Can Do This Until We Pass Out by delires: the Chav!verse is great for many, many reasons, but one of them is absolutely the hot AF sex. And in this story, it starts in the first few paragraphs–no waiting!

Bangkok Nights by @graveformydarling : this one is literally steamy, full of all this heavy, hot, wet atmosphere and complicated emotion that makes the actual smut even hotter.

Gin by @amysnotdeadyet : I can’t for the life of me explain why this is as hot as it is, except to say that the descriptions of gin border on the pornographic, and it’s almost angstless smut, which is sometimes just the perfect thing.

Hard to Pin by @toomuchplor : this is a short one-shot without a ton of plot, but it plays hard to the id, with mild dom/sub and kink and a whole lot of panting.

Bite That Tattoo On Your Shoulder by @bisexualpirateheart: a “things are not what they seem” hotel hook-up between a post-relationship Arthur and Eames, this ones does a perfect job of riding the hot/depressing line.
