Just playing around with sounds. It's relaxing to me and somehow keeps me calm and focused. Sorta like white noise I guess, but it moves around a bit. :)

WIP for… I have no idea yet tbh. Just sounds like a neat tense intro to some sort of cyberpunk world/scenario for some song. Maybe a rampant robot of some kind. Maybe a robot programmed for destruction. Maybe fighting zombies or other corrupted/harmful beings? Who knows? Let your imagination run wild & decide.

Used a bunch of samples/loops & my own sounds. I wonder where (& if) it may go from here.

Accidentally slipped and the string went off the fret board to create an extra sound (the high pitched one). Ended up loving the sound, but could not yet successfully recreate it. Glad I was recording at the time tho. :) So I at least have a reference.

After working on this idea for many hours & accidentally losing all my work in a storm because I saved it as the wrong file type 🙃

I finally re-did & finished a mini comic of Lynx.

This made me realize how much I still have to learn. But I'm happy with the result as a beginner.

He's got a plan he's been working on for quite some time now tho. And he's going all in for it. Whether it fails or succeeds. He'll know he tried and gave his all.

Tho his morals since day 1 have been to harm no one, each day it gets harder to keep his heart centered around that. What do you expect when you get treated like you're the world's punching bag, and harm is all you've ever been given?

He dreams to explore the world and touch hearts through playing his music. But it's not that easy when you're trapped in the daily work schedule just to barely survive each day. Still, he gets some moments here and there to breathe in a bit of freedom and adventure. Even if it is considered a bit dangerous or against the law.

As you can tell, they like to party. But is it just to bury the pain of losing someone, and pretend life is going great? How much is too much anyway? What's wrong with having fun? Seems they lost count and just wanna make the most of it. Even if regret waits for them the next day. Oh, they also have a side hobby of building and programming little robotic creatures. First project was their buddy named Nuzzle.

He's a bit of a loner, just trying to make sense of things. Including his own mind and struggle with figuring out what is "real". He is an android after all. How can he describe such complex emotions that shouldn't even technically be there? He often wonders, is he just a defect?

Tho parts of these mind states linger around in much smaller layers, I've worked on it for a long time and have gotten better at catching & understanding them. Finally felt I found some words to help describe them in a creative way.

We're human and sometimes we can get lost in emotions and what we believe is right, especially when in the moment of an argument, we are hurt, or a fear response is triggered. So many of us also can feel under pressure/expectation and judgment (either by others and/or ourselves) to always be right, perfect, and that to take a step back and reflect or be open to others perspectives is to "fail" or "lose" and "lower" our value/worth. But that's not true at all. Not refusing to reflect and grow and own our own sides and responsibilities (not others for them) is a difficult but important part of being the best people we can be. And it can give us much needed clarity. Of course this isn't to say that you are always in the wrong and should assume so. Life isn't often black & white like that.

Or to let others use your ability to reflect as an advantage to manipulate & gaslight you.

It's best to learn and know your boundaries and limits to give yourself space and time to assess and reflect properly. If people can't respect this, then you may need to strengthen these boundaries or cut contact with them. Because that is not healthy or good for either of you.

Guilt and shame we feel for things we regret is not bad. Unless we allow ourselves to jump down a spiral of self destruction with it. Instead it can be used in a healthy moderation as a helpful tool to simply recognize our unhealthy habits and thought patterns so we can shift them to better ones. Or to take note of when learning the sources to certain triggers and emotions during healing. Nothing more. Nothing less.

At least these are all my current understandings and what I feel sounds right. You are free to take and leave what sounds right to you.

What could be going on here?

Comic panel/picture based on a poem that came to me. Working a bit more on some other details first. But happy with how the art came out, so I wanted to share. :)
