strange angst idea but what imagine ryley gets really bad injured and does his best to apply first aid but when it’s healed it’s all scarred and he’s confused because he’s never seen skin do that (even the tech in SN1 because advanced enough to avoid scarring)

he’d probably assume he picked up a different disease tbh
