Little shit post, but I wanted to try and see what predators would order from a Starbucks menu.

Jungle Hunter: A cortado. Short and strong with a name that literally means 'to cut'.

City Hunter: Iced Macchiato with cinnamon. A young hunter trying to make a name for himself in the big city. He orders what he observes the other city slickers drinking. It's a heatwave. He does want some candy, but shirks the caramel drizzle because of the look Greyback is giving him and gets the all-business sprinkle of cinnamon.

Beserker: A flat white. Hold the white. It matches the flat, lifeless look of his eyes while giving him that extra edge of caffeine needed to strangle Royce mid-air like he was using repurposed milk jugs as weights in his kitchen. He doesn't tell anyone he's lactose intolerant. He has no desire to forewarn them.

Scar: Java Chip Frappuccino. He lets Lex order his drink for him and regrets it. His tusks cut the foamy whipped cream fruitlessly as he tries to reach the drink. He takes two sips, then tosses it. He doesn't know why Lex likes the cold and sweet so much.

Celtic: Sugar-Free Vanilla Protein Latte. He only puts fuel into his pipes and reminds everyone obnoxiously that drinking cold fluids slows your metabolism while eating his fifth banana bread slice. He assures he's just loading carbs.

Chopper: Your Mom. He doesn't say much else.

Fugitive: Americano. He's trying to blend in with the crowds and orders something from where he geographically lies. He doesn't realize it's the red, white and blue coursing through his veins.

Kwei: Two Pike Place Roasts. He adds nothing in and tries to explain to Dek the pleasures of simplicity. Dek burns his tongue on the first sip and takes offense. He has knocked over several stacks of empty cups as he marches out before he's scolded for having a weak tongue.

Njohrr: A secret menu Red Eye. He fully expects the minimum-wage barista to know how to make it without instruction. He waits outside, leaning on the horn of his F-150 truck and rolling coal when they don't make it fast enough.

Some clips of Tali I got last night since I started playing Skyrim again. I was going to wait to replay him when the re-voice dropped but really missed having him in my party. We were on the way to picking up Willow from Riften so curious to try his mod out!

Old drawings I have of Taliesin and my Dragonborn. First one was a sketch I just now coloured for fun, second one was one I lost the original file for so now it’s only the sketch and rough colouring leftover 💔

I’m debating on redownloading Skyrim but I know that’s gonna be hours of recompiling mods so I’m using old drawings and sketching these two in the meantime to see if that fixation dies out or if I should go for it.

Hello yes, may I ask about Ce’sei? Second pair of arms? Is that a mutation? Something I didn't know was possible? Very interested to learn, because it's very cool!!

You may! It’s not a mutation, Ce’sei is actually a predalien queen which is why he has those second pair of arms. He’s also equipped with a tail, dorsal spines, an echolocation node on his crest, and almost half of his body is comprised of the naturally armoured skin xenomorphs have. Unlike xenomorphs though, he doesn’t have acidic blood or a pharyngeal jaw(that he can use at least). As of right now the second jaw is underdeveloped and tucked away inside the flesh of his upper mouth but could develop after a couple of more molts.

That is so cool! I didn't even think about predalien possibilities. Oh!!! Ohh!!!! Your mind is huge. Massive. Gigantic. Also-molts, does that mean he can grow more???

How do the yautja and xenomorphs feel about Ce'sei? I guess, xenomorphs likely wouldn't care, but yautja could have more extreme reactions depending on what lore you like to follow. How does he feel about other yautja and xenomorphs??

Yup the big boy gets bigger! I actually have a little doodle kinda portraying how his crest will grow and his eyesight diminishes, relying solely on the echolocation node on his head for “seeing” and navigation.

Ce’sei currently stands at 11’8” but I’m thinking he might max out at 13 feet.

As for how other yautjas and xenomorphs feel about him it depends. Most yautjas he’s known were workers under his captor Maul who only carried out his orders when it came to the bare minimum of care while he put up with physical and mental tortures for years and years from Maul. If he were to cross xenomorphs I’d imagine they’d follow him as any might unless he were in the presence of another Queen. In which they might just duke it out like some bees. Lmao.

Once he’s escaped his captor though, he meets other yautjas who are more welcoming to him and find friendship in each other. But predalians are still seen as abominations to many honourable yautjas so he still has to be careful who he puts his trust into and where he goes in life.

He hasn’t really had encounters with other xenomorphs as far as his story goes but if he did he’d probably like them and feel more familiar with them, especially if they treat him like their mother or family. He’s very wary of other yautjas since he is aware of what he is and can never tell if someone is here to kill him because of what he is, or try to capture him for Maul once more. He would rather the first option then be taken again.

I did actually have a story of this on AO3 with only like one chapter though- it’s been on hiatus for months and I only took it down yesterday because I’m considering rewriting it since his story is a bit of a mess right now but everything I’ve said is more concrete and heavily summarized points lore wise.

Btw, how would you pronounce Ce'sei? I've been reading it as "Say-see" but I doubt I've got it right lol.

Oooh, this is such interesting lore! Also opens up so many more questions. Who is Maul, and why did he capture Ce'sei? (I mean, I think it might be related to the whole predalien thing, but I could be wrong, and no matter what, I'm curious!) Maul also sounds like he has a lot of power, being able to send people after Ce'sei. Keeping Ce'sei alive makes me wonder what Maul was using him for/planned to use him for? Like, idk, was it experiments or twisted entertainment?

How tragic he has to be on guard so much :( But I'm glad he finds a place where he's accepted.

Duke it out like bees lol xD Yeah, I can see why he'd feel more at home with xenomorphs. Though, would Ce'sei have any particular feelings about their "kill everything and grow numbers" mindset?

Could I ask for your ao3 user and follow you there? I'd love to read Ce'sei's story whenever you publish it again :D

I pronounce his name as “seh-say” or I think the proper phonetic writing is [sɛ sei].

Maul goes by his own code of taking live trophies and breaking their mind by any cruel means until they follow his every command to show the capabilities and strength of yautja through far more than just hunting and killing. And yep, as of right now Maul is a warlord with many following his code and word.

At first Ce’sei was nothing but genetic memory and instinct, so in a way he did feel something of the sorts as “kill everything and grow” but he had already been a bit more yautja than xenomorph when it came to how his noggin worked. Maul’s work only tamed the predalien part way down.

And my user is nyctohylophobia on AO3! It was meant to be a placeholder since it’s such a mouthful but I think I might keep it for now. But still giving a head ups in case that changes.

Taliesin and my Dragonborn Nythireth

Eyyyy brought my old dovahkiin back for another play through of Skyrim. Haven’t touched the game in years and went to revisit old follower mods that got updated, ones that have sadly been abandoned or on hiatus it seems, and NEW ONES!!! Among them I found Taliesin and I am absolutely in love. I love how he brings a whole new perspective to a Dragonborn play through and how he can be a bit more on the morally questionable side of things, leaving more freedom to those who don’t play all too kind and pure characters. I am so glad that he even has a romance and more (I believe) quest driven lore coming in the future and I can’t wait to see what they make for this guy. Love him to bits and will likely be making more art of these two in the future.
