So we had a cooking competition at school and of course your girl signed up. I decided to make Indian Samosa cuz I love them. I made them Saturday night, then woke up early to fry them and go to school. The reason we made stuff at home was cuz this was the auditions. So we got called down, and I ran to the guy who sells sandwiches and stuff at school and asked him to heat up my food. He did, and i ran back. My friends made some really good stuff. One made chocolate chip cookies, one made a really professional looking bounty cake, one made chicken and cheese casserole. HECK, ONE GIRL MADE BA'ASIN! She was so wild for that. With potatoes and meat. Gurl went all out. So everyone decided I'd go first, cuz I needed to serve it hot, so I did. The judges were basically my principal and a few other school employees from the main office. I told them my dish and explained how it was made. When I mentioned it was south west Asian cuisine one teacher's eyes lit up. Turns out she's a big fan of that kind of cuisine. Jackpot. Principal asked me more question, what I usually like to cook, if I cook a lot or not, etc. Then they tasted it. I was a bit nervous because they weren't crispy, but they all liked it. They talked about how the spices are balanced, the texture, how refreshing and unique it was. I was excused and went back. All my friends tasted it and they all started going crazy. Peopleglaze me too much. Everywhere I go, get glazed. I'm not sure why. The food was mid when I tasted it, but one girl said that she hated Indian cuisine but this made her change her mind. Chat. Stop. It's not that peak. I feel really embarrassed when people over compliment me. Everytime a girl finished, we would eat from what was left. Also, when my friend was presenting her cookies, the principal was grilling her a bit about how they looked, but she explained that they're American classic chocolate chip cookies. They need to look a lil crude. After she finished, I went in and gave some background on how they were invented, to earn her some points. Food always tastes better when you know the backstory. Gotta back bestie up. There was this big plate full of stuff, a blob if you will, but digging around I found some banana cream pie, and I stuffed my face, CUZ I LOVE BANANA CREAM PIE THAT STUFF IS SO GOOD CREAM PIE IS SO PEAK I WANT SOMEONE TO CREAMPIE ME LIKE IN THOSE OLD CARTOONS I WOULDNT EVEN BE MAD. So ye, stomachs full, auditions over, we went back to class. Next day, we got the results. I WAS THE ONLY ONE FROM MY CLASS WHO MADE IT HOW WTF HOW DID THIS HAPPEN!? So um I guess I'm entering the completion now. Wow.
