so this is not the first post I've made about this meme (it is, in fact, a direct response to a common way people replied to a previous post I made about this meme) and it still baffles me how hard people seem to want to try to come up with ways this fascist slogan (which I remind you is stating, directly, that problems with modernity should be solved by returning to tradition, meaning that things were better in The Past and we should reverse progress as a solution to current problems) is Fine And Good Actually.

and like. what do you think you're accomplishing by presenting your beliefs within the framework of political regressivism. do you actually believe that, in general, modern problems can be solved by looking to The Past? that the best possible world is one that has been left behind and that we must RETVRN to it?

because that's what this meme is saying. that's what "reject modernity embrace tradition" means. it's not implied by it, it's not a secret hidden origin that you need to be in the know to recognize, that's the literal surface level meaning of the sequence of words. that's the idea that this meme communicates and normalizes.

Amnesia pride flags

Amnesia is a extremely misrepresented & not talked about disorder, so I made flags for it. These flags can be used to represent any kind of amnesia, they're not exclusive to people who have amnesia not caused by another disorder.

The 1st one is retrograde amnesia, difficulty remembering past events. The 2nd one is anterograde amnesia, difficulty learning new information.

Both commonly occur simultaneously, so I also made a general amnesia flag.

Amnesia isn't loss of identity, or being forgetful, it's deficit in retaining or recollecting information, meaning memory is lost, or isn't stored, in the long or short term memory.

It impairs the ability to retain information, which can cause difficulty learning new things.

Memory loss & memory repression are different things. A repressed memory still exists within your brain & is able to be bought back, a lost memory is erased, or was never stored in the brain to begin with.

Some disorders that can cause amnesia are: dissociative disorders, personality disorders, psychotic disorders, depression, epilepsy, brain damage, CPTSD & autism.
