Scarcity mindset in daily habits looks like:
Hoarding items just in case
Avoiding opportunities out of fear of losing
Overthinking every small purchase
Saying that you can’t more than “how can I?”
Comparing constantly to others
Clinging to toxic relationships out of fear of being alone
Saving things for a special occasion that never comes
Always choosing the cheapest option, even when it costs more long term
Refusing to delegate or ask for help
Believing there’s never enough time, money, or love (you are the love)
Obviously, if you’re on an extremely tight budget, these shifts can help start retraining your mind out of scarcity:
Practice gratitude every day :)
Replace “I can’t afford this” with “How can I make this possible?”. If you don’t have it then take control and figure out what you need to fix to be able to do so
Declutter and donate what you don’t use
Invest small amounts in your growth (a book, a class, a new skill)
Celebrate every little thing you do because you’re amazing and everything you do matters
Spend on experiences, not just things
Reframe expenses as investments when they create long term value
Allow yourself small luxuries without guilt (a pretty candle, fresh flowers)
Set future goals & visualize abundance (align yourself and work on them too)
Share or give, even in small ways
Maturity is realizing your parents were just wounded kids in grown-up bodies, navigating their own trauma in real-time while trying to raise you. It doesn’t excuse the harm, but it helps soften the grip of resentment. And sometimes, healing means forgiving what they never had the tools to fix.
The agony of thinking you’re finished doing the dishes only to turn around and to your horror: the pot.
my fave writing reminder
honestly, this phrase has been on my mind more times than i can count. i've kidnapped it, taken it as a hostage with no ransom money because i need it to live permanently in my head.
nobody tears through library books quite as fast as a 12 yr old girl with no friends
“I can say with great certainty and absolute honesty that I did not know what love was until I knew what love was not.”

happy international women’s day, 2025
the girls are gua shaing, snacking on raw honey, lathering in heavenly oils, sipping collagen lattes, eating fruits, dry brushing before their showers, daily stretching, eating homemade food, loving on emotionally intelligent men, spending time in nature, creating whimsical art, getting closer to God, creating heaven on earth, seeing love in everything.

The lack of empathy was the closure. The lack of respect was the closure. The lack of apology was the closure. The lack of safety was the closure. The lack of remorse was the closure. The lack of care was the closure. The lack of accountability was the closure. The lack of honesty was the closure. The lack of closure was the closure.
