I cannot even explain how ANGRY I am at this.

My nephew is very allergic to eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, and sesame. Last year my sister discovered all hot dogs and hamburger buns now contain sesame. Not "may contain", but listed in the ingredients. This year basically every brand of sliced bread also now contains sesame, making it very difficult to find bread items he can eat.

They're just adding it to their products, so they can just list it as an ingredient and not bother with worrying about cross contamination. And they aren't even bothering with telling anyone. Capitalism is going to kill us all.

The main reason I’m pushing for people to stop using the term ‘pedophile’ and instead use the term ‘child sexual abusers’, is because since all discussions of child sexual abuse focus on this idea of an evil person who is just out to get kids because they are sexual attracted to them, it makes it hard for kids who where sexually assaulted by people who don’t fit that description to realize they were sexually assaulted.

It didn’t register for me until recently that my experiences of being forced to strip naked multiple times at the mental hospital to be ‘checked’ when I was 14 was sexual assault, because the people who did it were nurses/doctors who clearly didn’t find me sexually attractive but instead used it as a form of humiliation and control towards children they deemed as ‘unruly’ and ‘uncooperative’ (ie. children who asked to be treated like people). I thought only people who fit into this idea of a child attracted pedo could be child sexual abusers, so I thought my experience didn’t count.

Stepping away from the idea that there is a pedophile boggieman and instead highlighting that anyone can be a child sexual abuser will help more people realize that their experiences are sexual assault.

I work in the grwud department of the department of social services and pretty much all scams tend to have something in common- they want you to click something, and they play off extreme emotions like "You won! Yay!! But hurry click here to collect before time runs out!" or "You're in trouble! Click this or else you'll be arrested!" or "I'm reporting you for ABC if you don't click here or download this mand etc" or "free thing/sweepstakes/money/whatever click here now!" And they try to get you to prove who you are by asking for personal info you shouldn't share.

When in doubt, instead of clicking a link, just hesitate and ask around. "Is this legit" is a good practice cause if it sounds too good to be true, it is.

Anyways if Tumblr was gonna have any kind of feature like this you bet your ass it would be broken, sus, and nobody would use it anyways lol
