If they could do helnik page for page in the show, i hope they plan to do the same for kanej once the soc storyline starts. maybe they did helnik page for page bc they wanted to introduce us to their backstory & having kanej more familiar w eachother in S1 after they met. i hope we get some flashbacks to when they first met 😭😭

the chemistry they have on screen definitely is more than just...staring lol. there’s words being shared between them, so many emotions without saying a word, the tension, desire etc. It’s all there, if it weren’t then despite them being my otp (show kanej included) i’d agree. but their scenes obviously made people feel something without saying much. if you don’t want to call it chemistry then call it what you want

Kaz giving Inej the gift of a warship, her parents, and himself without his armor is the most goddamn beautiful thing I’ve ever read. There is no other couple like them.

we still haven’t gotten the scene where kaz tells inej about what happened to him and his brother. so i hope we get it in six of crows 3 because inej still doesn’t know the full story about why kaz is the way he is. just that he and his brother got tricked by pekka and were left fending for themselves. nothing about the dead bodies and what that did to him. but whenever he is ready to tell it, just so that he wouldn’t be so alone over the situation and that someone who loves him could actually be there for him through it

they understand it needing to be a slowburn but now they’ll have to make up for the “I need you” in S2. i don’t mind it only bc i get his feelings needing to be understood for her to stay around in the first place but..that was a big statement that if they plan on following the books after this prequel of S1 then they’ll have to do something about that moment
