My friends in the LoK discord asked if it would be possible to play Legacy of Kain in "chronological" order. Here's what we came up with.

For those who can't read the image:

Play the Sarafan era in SR2 up until Raziel is confronted by Moebius and Malek

Watch the opening cutscene of BO1

Play the rest of the Sarafan era in SR2

Play Kain's Sarafan era levels in Defiance

Play specifically the part of BO1 where Kain kills William

Play the first era in SR2

Play BO1 up until, let's say, Dark Eden

Play the rest of BO1 and all of Raziel's Defiance levels at the same time, plus the Raziel vs Kain fight, hopefully synching up gameplay at Avernus such that young Kain leaves before Raziel arrives

After completing BO1 and choosing the "bad" ending, fight Janos as Raziel in Defiance and finish the game as Kain

Play the middle, rainy level in SR2

Play all of BO2

Play all of SR1

It's just that simple!
