SESSION ZERO; First day at PSU
“Adam & Eve were the first ultrahumans
When they were cast out of the garden of eden, God took away Eve’s powers making her the first human
Seth was a superhuman
Cain was a human
Abel was a ultrahuman
Cain killed abel out of jealousy
Throughout history superhumans have become less plentiful, with humans becoming the dominant race.
Hitler was a superhuman and wanted to restore what he viewed as a master race, so they could become ultrahumans once more.
After that, humans became weary of superhuman revolutions and outlawed them.
After many years of history continuing without superhumans, a tragedy happened, 9/11, which would have been completely preventable with superhumans.
They were relegalized with no restrictions, you must attend sanctioned schools to be a superhero.
Obama became the first openly superhuman president.
And that brings us to today, September 15th, 2009, 8 years after the relegalization of superheroism.
I am your teacher, Mr. Fableman, yes I am Jewish. Welcome to your first day at Pahlawan School of Heroes. This is history of heroism.”
The classroom is dusty, and a group of students sit at the back of class, suddenly, a man stands up, clad in what people think “cool” looks like, aviators, leather jacket, Van Halen tee, and jeans, he takes them off quickly.
“HITLER WAS A FUCKING METAHUMAN?”
Mr. Fableman sighs. “You learned this in Middle School Mr Mansfield.”
“I was homeschooled.” He responds.
at the edge of the room, a woman walks in. She argues with Mr Fableman for some reason i forget and it begins to rain, Mr Fableman sighs.
“Laura.. can you stop this rain?”
Laura seethes. “You knoww, i’m not really supposed to mess with the weather.. rules and stuff.”
he glares at her, and she snaps her fingers, stopping the downpour outside. More of the classmates meet, Ben Donovitz, a water water elemental, Aiden Johannes, a speedster, Josh Mansfield, a paragon, and Laura Goodwitch, a weather controller.
the bell rings and Mr Fableman ends his introduction to PSU, when Josh stands up at his desk.
“EVERYBODY! PARTY AT RHO KAPPA SIGMA TONIGHT! BE THERE BRAH!”
Mr Fableman approaches. “Interesting, can i attend?”
Josh cringes. “Yeah sorry but.. after that incident last year with Mr Palmer we can’t have faculty at parties.”
the group make their way to the party, where mostly intoxicated, they see an emo upstairs, avoiding the party. As the press him on why he avoids the festivities, he suddenly disappears. And then, a loud BANG outside, downstairs, the party has gone silent and everyone has disappeared without a trace, a knock is on the door, where Josh opens it.
mr. Fableman stands, gut slashed in half and cauterized from heat.
