recently, i’ve had no patience for women who date men, tbh.

i do believe it’s anti-feminist. many modern women will proudly exclaim “i hate men”, “i’m a feminist, “i’m a misandrist”, yet it all falters the instant they’re able to find their benevolent patriarch/misogynist.

feminism isn’t treated as a serious intellectual sociopolitical movement with theory and thinkers. it’s treated as a placeholder until they get picked by a man.

and then they exclaim that shaving is feminist, make up is feminist, bdsm is feminist, marriage is feminist, all because she’s birdbrained and needs to follow the patriarchal script to keep her man.

what benefit does this serve to women as a class other than signalling we are actually apparently okay with our own oppression?

isn’t it fascinating how women are socialised to care about aestheticism in literally every single aspect apart from when it comes to men?

of course there’s the obvious ones relating to her own appearance and other women’s: does gold or silver jewellery suit her? is her “colour palette” a winter or a summer? is lipstick shade #49 the perfect nude or does shade #51 suit her better? do her breasts look flattering in a sweetheart neckline or would a halter be better? would a turkey nose job suit her? how should she pose for this instagram photo? how does her body look in this nude?

and women’s conditioned flair for aestheticism bleeds over to every other aspect of her life too: the popularity of pinterest and tumblr among women and girls, her well-decorated bedroom and apartment (meanwhile just look at a male’s living space), her laying out the table and presenting the food perfectly for a nice dinner, or her constantly decorating her place with fresh flowers or changing up decor in line with the seasons, her gravitating towards characters that look “cute”, or her having visual hobbies like arts and crafts, knitting, gardening, jewellery making, pottery, baking, her carrying her polaroid camera everywhere

so, we’re somehow meant to believe males are “ViSuAL cReAtUrEs” when they’re visual about nothing beyond women and girls’ bodies, and were also meant to believe women are NOT visual creatures when it comes to men even though they’re visual about literally everything else?

Isn't it interesting how every single one of my friends' boyfriends/husbands has a rare untreatable combination of ADHD, anxiety, autism, and trauma which completely excuse and explain all of his shitty abusive behaviors while simultaneously justifying his refusal to do his own chores?? And isn't it fascinating that this pernicious epidemic of severe learning disabilities has completely escaped the purview of the medical profession, leaving speculative diagnosis entirely up to the careful conscientious examination of Dr. Girlfriend?

Friendly reminder that all women know what men are.

Old conservative ladies know that men are violent rapists, so they promote finding The Good One and being an obedient wife so you don't trigger a violent outburst and stay protected from other violent men.

Libfems know that and they propagate legal prostitution so that men rape only one cast of women, and not all women. Besides, if you just say yes to all sex, you are unrapeable amirite.

Trans "men" know that and they choose to pretend to be men and blend in so that they are not targets of their violence.

Mothers know that and they dont let their teenage daughters go to shady parties. Fathers know that and they teach their teenage daughters that boys only want one thing.

Pickmes know it and they hope that they can doormat their way into men's loyalty and draw their attention to le ugly feminists instead.

Normie het women know it and they message the guy's license plate to their friend chat and invent elaborate ways to signal SOS when they go out on a date.

Boymoms know it as they are often the ones to cover their sons' horrifying crimes, obviously.

Every single group of women knows it. They just cope with it differently. Stop this bs with socialization because somehow, throughout the varieties of cultures and times, men end up just the same.

As a society we're reluctant to call fathers out for what they are, which is usually the biggest threat to their own children. The way society values and protects fathers at all costs, comes at the cost of child abuse.

And the legal system backs this up as well; I’ve seen dozens of cases where there is a father in a custody battle who is abusive/negligent and 9/10 times he’s still going to get at least partial custody because “kids need a father.” The socially constructed necessity of having a “father figure” is prioritized over the physical wellbeing of children constantly, and the fathers usually get away with it because we see them just being with their kids as being beneficial to the children’s development regardless of how destructive the father actually is

I hope I don't ever have to hear "racism is an American thing" and "there's less racism in Europe" ever again 😭 the fact that it wasn't enough that people just had regular experiences with racism to be believable, it took seeing literal white supremacist riots?? Well maybe I don’t WANT to work double as hard as abled people!! Maybe I deserve a BREAK!! Maybe I’ve been working MORE THAN double as hard for MY WHOLE LIFE and it’s led me to immense burnout & caused me to develop several MORE disabilities!! Maybe I should be ACCOMMODATED so I don’t have to KILL MY BODY AND BRAIN over trying to do what abled people can do!! Maybe I DON’T have to work double as hard!! Maybe if there’s the option to let me NOT work double as hard, I should have it, because I’m already working double as hard JUST TO SURVIVE!!

Why do you think disabled people deserve less rest than mentally & physically abled people?

More and more I realize that health institutions, especially mental health, don't want to heal sick people; they just want there to be no sick people visibly around. This goes for physical and mental disabilities, self harm, suicidality, addictions, and any other conditions that Look Bad.
