Happy Independence Day, y'all! Here's to another 250!
I take art commissions! Hit me up if you're interested!
Cassidy from FNAF. Comes in yellow, blue, and ghost flavor!
I had to hop on the meme (OG is the second slide, it's an issue of The Boys). Behold, Pink Guy revealing himself to Purple Guy. Wilhelm Aftong was innocent, y’all. He did nothing wrong. It was Pink Guy the whole time. Trust me. Scott himself told me in a dream. You could say it's my dream theory.
Uh-oh, looks like Shuri got Phanto Tagged! ...Oh wait, it's just a prank. Haha.
Inspired by the Phanto Tag game mode from the Switch 2 port of Super Mario Bros. Wonder.
By the way, I take art commissions! Feel free to DM me if interested.
PENCIIILLLLLLLLL!!!!!!
This piece was commissioned by hodgepodgewriter on Bluesky. Thank you for the commission! I had fun working on it. :)
If you'd like to commission an art piece too, feel free to DM me!
I am proud to announce that Artifact Ninja (working title) is officially in development!
Step into the speedy shoes of Shuri, the skillful ninja hero! The fearsome Shadow Lurkers have launched an assault on the Artifact Temple, and it looks like they're planning something dastardly... But fret not! Your closest ally and most reliable weapon, Kenny, is here to help! Together, you must retrieve the Artifacts before the Shadow Lurkers do. There's no time to waste; get going!
Artifact Ninja is a fast-paced 3D platformer with an emphasis on nonlinear exploration and player freedom. In this unique collect-a-thon/search-action hybrid, you must collect Artifacts to open up new areas, and find upgrades to expand your move set. Venture through high-speed platforming challenges, fight menacing monsters, make new friends, and open up many new paths! Do you have what it takes to obtain all of the Artifacts, save the world, and become a true ninja hero?
This is only a short preview of things to come. I'll be posting progress updates on this channel, and on social media. Also feel free to check out the Itch page! https://daveygamerslocker.itch.io/ninja
If you'd like to support me, I take art commissions! DM me if interested. Alternatively, you can support me on Ko-Fi: https://ko-fi.com/daveygamerslocker
Trust me, every dollar helps me develop the game. :)
Various recent sketches! The first 7 slides are all my OCs: Kira, Virus Gal, Shuri, a Scarf Fairy, a Queen Bee, and Frost Ninja.
The last 3 slides are fanart. An older version of Sage from Sonic Frontiers, followed by Mimi from Super Paper Mario and Fawful from the Mario & Luigi series (they're both g r e e n). And then... a Goomba. Two Goombas? Gomb.
Hey y'all, sorry I haven't been posting art as much lately. I've been super busy with game projects and other stuff. I'll try to get some art out soon.
Anyway, here's a 3D model of Kira!
Hooded Desert Woman. Probably a nomad of sorts. I wish it was as sunny as a desert right now...
Sorry for not uploading much; I've been really busy with other stuff. But I'll try and upload some stuff before the end of the year! Consider it my Christmas present to y'all.
Here's a bunch of stuff I made for a pixel art class! Well, most of it was for the class, but I made some of the sprites on my own time. I'm especially proud of the animated jumping Cyber Guy. All of these sprites were made in Aseprite.
Here are a bunch of art assets I made for my Studio's game, Pizzatown Hero! The first slide contains tiles that I made for the game. The latter four slides consist of concept art, which I drew to communicate the idea of the game. Our Studio built off of the concept art to establish the game's art style. Directing Pizzatown Hero was a very valuable learning experience for me, and I am very proud of the work we all got done in just a few months.
Pizzatown Hero is FREE to play on Itch: https://daveygamerslocker.itch.io/pizzatown
Or Newgrounds: https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/1000699
Here's a bunch of textures I made for a Texturing class! I had a lot of fun learning how to use Substance Painter and Substance Designer. Each texture was meticulously crafted with care, and it was a blast putting them all together on the models.
I made a 3D model of my ninja character, Shuri! She's ready to leap into action!
I tried to make the model low-poly, while still looking fairly smooth. She's only got 4.6k tris! I also added some cel shading onto the textures, to give off a cartoony look. My friend says the model reminds him of Super Mario RPG, and y'know what? I can see it. I do have a soft spot for that vintage CGI look, so I guess it's not surprising that my model ended up looking like that. All in all, I'm proud of myself!
What if Shuri had a robot doppelgänger? Introducing Steel Shuri! She’s not canon, of course. Just a fun thought I had.

Here's another piece from my Tabletop and Card Game Illustration class! For our final project, we were tasked to make a cover for a hypothetical tabletop game. I envisioned a wargame that takes place in a futuristic city. You could play as the city's defenders or its invaders. The cover depicts Hope the Robot, one of the defenders. No game was ever actually designed for this art piece; it's just a hypothetical.
Decades into the future, humans and robots live in harmony. However, this harmony is threatened when an evil robot army attacks the sprawling metropolis of Cybertown! Will this army spell doom for the city and its people? Not if Hope shines bright! Hope the Robot and his friends are here to save humankind and robotkind alike! In this frantic, action-packed tabletop game, take the role of the heroes or the invaders! Restore peace to Cybertown – or crush it into oblivion. Who will come out on top? Destiny – and the cards – are in your hands!
I played around a lot with color theory and composition here. Hope, the protagonist, uses bright and warm colors. Meanwhile, the city behind him is mostly dark and cool colors. Hope is looking up at a communications tower, which I figured would be an important piece in the game. Players could capture buildings and other important points to turn the tide of war.
In my Tabletop and Card Game Illustration class, we were assigned to research a board game and an artist for the game, then create an art piece inspired by the artist’s work. I chose Clue, a classic mystery board game. The artist I chose was Drew Struzan, who made the cover art for the 1996 version of the game.
Drew Struzan made all of the characters have a solid color scheme, matching their respective game pieces. He also painted the characters in a vibrant watercolor style, with plenty of detail and shading. I tried to follow both of these patterns in my art piece. Overall, I enjoyed researching the game and paying tribute to Struzan’s work!
