Deltarune Mixed Files AU concept : Flowery Crimson

basically , in the au , flowery is replaced by a flower rappresenting the red humans (Chara and Frisk) , their motives and powers are all more or less the same , but they`re more friendly and polite rather then an anime boy twink , the gold in the color palette comes from determination and ut save points , also this gives me the opportunity to make flower cocoapowder in the AU lol (tho don`t worry the blue and yellow replacements will stil be close :))

As someone who has been in fandoms for years, I find it odd that everything now has to be "canon" to be considered "good".

It doesn't have to be canon to be fun and engaging. It doesnt have to be canon for people to enjoy a ship or a trope.

Where did the fun with AU's and made up shit disappear? Not everything needs to be 1:1 with the actual story for others to enjoy.

Just have fun in your own bubble and dont chase the "canon" like its the only thing in the world.

ive only drawn cocoapowder for a while , so ig its time i do my own thing , then again i could take requests for it like i did with copow since the goal with that was to reawaken my enjoyment in drawing them , and i DESPERATLEY need it , so yeah ig put some requests or lostdt here or in my inbox and ill do them (i said i wouldn`t take many requests at once another time this soon but theres no way im getting as many as cocoapowder so ill be fine lol)

You are genuinely correct about this and i hope people arent taking it as an overdramatic statement.

A little less than 10 years ago i was a teenager on the internet who watched cringe compilations on youtube. Literally every single person in those clips were either feminists, trans, autistic, furries, fat, mentally ill in some form, or LITERAL CHILDREN, etc.

It was QUITE LITERALLY an alt right pipeline. We were laughing at feminists protesting for gender equality, for fucks sake. My youtube recommendations were plagued with right wing videos and debates from watching these.

You are 100% allowed to dislike certain media and fandoms and whatnot but publicly shaming them is not only low-brow, but close minded and gullible behaviour, to say the least. Is that person with a Sonic self insert really hurting you at the end of the day? When you think other peoples harmless behaviour needs to be policed, you are already slipping.

The older you get the more you realize being cringe isnt bad. Infact i seriously dont care if people personally cringe at me. Because im letting myself do things i love without shame, so really im the one whos winning

Which of the fallen humans do you have designs for (and what is the lore on them :D )

Only the Integrity soul (Melody) has lore as of now but I do have an old perseverance design I made for a few headcanons for Chara (aka that they'd be the first one they start to get along with besides Frisk cause they actually have a functioning brain) and a younger Kris design cause I was the only person that believed patience Kris before it got confirmed but I didn't actually write anything for either of them so that's basically it .

Here's their design (haven't drawn "canon" as in "not an au" melody with her normal outfit in a while holy shit) Kris and purple have been drawn a while ago so don't be surprised that the drawings suck lol

Alr you want it , you got it , gotta warn ya tho , it's pretty long , anyway....

Melody is a Trans girl that lived in an orphanage during the same time clover was alive on the surface , her life was not exactly the best but defenatly manageable for some years , sometime when she was 8 is when she discovered ballet , which fascinated her , a LOT , though , she gets mocked for her attempts at doing "girl stuff" , feeling more and more struggles with gender identity and being dismissed a lot by the people there because of it , she ran away (at about 11 years old).

I'm not fully sure on what exactly would happen to lead to it yet , maybe they just met randomly or she was inspired to leave and fend for herself by seeing them wandering around alone beforehand , but she and Clover cross paths , and they become friends very fast and start hanging out and help each other out often .

one day probably around 2 weeks after becoming friends , Melody tells Clover about how she feels about herself and Clover tells her that she shouldn't force herself to be something else because she is assigned to be that and that she should stick to what SHE believes and not what others want out of her , essentially teaching her the soul trait she is represented by AND helps her transition

Sometime between the underground and her transition , Clover gifts her the dance shoes and tutu she wears in the underground , naturally she is OVERJOYED by this gift and thanks to it , she actually starts practicing ballet .

nothing else very significant happens before she falls in mount ebott , which speaking of , she fell when trying to find a peaceful place to practice and gets lost in the forest , once in the underground , she still upholds her own beliefs and stuff , when she finds Toriel , she really starts liking her , being the mother Melody never got , but she doesn't stay for a lot , feeling that she shouldnt leave clover behind , and feels that she owes them for giving her the chance to be herself , so she leaves to find a way to escape the underground so that she could bring clover to what could be their new home .

In after leaving the ruins her determination to find clover and bring them to her new home gives her the ability to SAVE , which she would really need , as she quickly gets hunted down by the royal guards and killed , she gets further in in some attempts , but she never gets the chance to truly escape , out of desperation she tries distracting the guards by destroying a bunch of trees and stuff along the way , but at one point ends up killing the guards and almost herself too , she would use the save to heal but would later realise this killed the guards permanently , after this realisation hits she completely breaks , out of fear and guilt she starts to run away from snowdin as fast as possible , the snowdin attack is essentially a result of Melody's guilt making her snap and hurt anything that may block her , including Dalv , Kanako was there too but only got a glimpse of her running away from Dalv who was almost lethally injured , during waterfall the only thing that remained of Melody was her guilt , her need to bring Clover safely , and the fear of what they would think abt her now, until Chujin and Axis find her , which leads to another chase , which Melody doesn't survive from as Axis takes her soul before she gets the chance to reload after her death .

after that all the Ketsukane happens , which leads to Chujin's death and Kanako's amalgamation,

After becoming a ghost Melody would initially distance herself from Kanako , from both what her father did to her , and of what SHE almost did to her if Dalv didn't intervene , she would slowly warm up to her after some time stuck with eachother tho , which would lead to Kanako learning of her backstory and Clover .

Speaking of , they start getting worried after Melody disappeared , until their fears are proven right when she starts appearing on the list of missing children that disappear in the area , which is how Clover learns to ebott and even goes there in the first place , their story is the same though their drive forward is a lot more specific : finding Melody AND the other children , which would also be why they would straight up teach Axis fear Vegeta style during a vengeance route

After a true pacifist she and Clover would get revived and have their heartfelt reunion they've waited years for , which leads to Melody being adopted with clover by Martlet , Kanako would have wanted them too , but Ceroba doesn't fully trust Melody with her kid soooo yk , but at least they're still great friends (or even lesbians instead who knows :3 not me lol idk if I should commit to Melako or not) Melody gets to have a complete transition (she finally got her hands on some estrogen lol) and she and Clover are Siblings and live happly ever after or some sappy shit like that , Melody would still sometimes struggle with the guilt of what happened back then but Clover and Kanako help her through it
