My name is Zaid Emad Shehadah, I’m 14 years old, and I live with my family of six in Al-Shati Refugee Camp, Gaza. Since birth, I have suffered from a disability that prevents me from walking or carrying out even the simplest daily tasks. I rely entirely on my parents and siblings to move around, go to school, and do basic things that most people take for granted.

Growing up, I watched kids my age run, play sports, and enjoy their childhood while I could only sit and watch. I have undergone multiple reconstructive surgeries, performed by both local and international doctors, but none of them were successful in helping me walk.

Then, the war came. My family was forced to flee our home over a year ago, seeking refuge in a tent. Later, our four-floor house was bombed and completely destroyed, leaving us with nowhere to return. Living in a tent has made my life even harder—the sandy ground makes it nearly impossible for me to move.

Now, I am reaching out to you with a desperate plea—I need your help to get medical treatment abroad in hopes of finally being able to walk.

How Your Support Can Change My Life

1) A Safe Place to Live – I need a temporary home where I can move freely. Living in a tent is unbearable for someone in my condition.

2) Travel Costs for Medical Treatment – Leaving Gaza for medical care is extremely expensive. I can’t afford it without your support.
