Spy x family is very very good because there's a bit where a far right terrorist group says that they want to start a war and a main character responds by saying to them "have any of you ever killed anyone before? Have you ever been killed before? Have you ever had a limb torn off by an artillery shell? Have you ever heard the sound of bones shattering? Have you ever smelled the reek of rotting flesh? Have you ever found the crushed bodies of your parents and siblings in a pile of rubble that used to be your home? Have you ever discovered a blown-off piece of your lover stuck to a wall? Have you ever been so hungry that you tried to eat tree bark? Or stewed a pot of human flesh? Have you ever convinced yourself that your enemy was subhuman so you could...slaughter them like animals? Have you ever been so haunted by shame and regret afterwards that you cried until you vomited? Have you ever had friends who did the same, and then took their own lives? Did you learn nothing about war at your university?!"
and that's the same volume where they adopt a dog that can see into the future
Welcome to Fanfic.Mag! (LAUNCHING 25.05.26)
One website, one podcast, one love - all for fanfiction.
We're a cultural magazine dedicated to taking fanfiction seriously. We are fun, loud, and unapologetically proud of all things fanfiction. We understand that fanfiction isn’t just for 12-year-olds sitting in their bedrooms – it’s culture, creativity, and, most importantly, community. Too often, fandom spaces are mocked by outsiders, dismissing them as cringe, weird, or childish but we are here to bat for all those obsessives. We are speaking to the writers on their laptops late at night and the dedicated readers with questionable screen time.
This is a platform for our voices, celebrating the millions of fans shaping the future of storytelling on their own terms. We want the full spectrum: from fanfic newbies to the seasoned veterans. There’s something for everyone here at FanFic.Mag.
We dedicate this magazine to anyone who loves fanfiction. The kids writing their first fic on Wattpad. The people reading on AO3 until 3am. Those here on Tumblr. We are by fans, for fans. And proud of it.
Straight ship so good even the gays love it??
Sooo those who follow me know about the lil fanfiction magazine launching next week, and there's absolutely no way we're launching without some spyxfam content
Theeerefore what do we think about Yor and Loid? SpyxFamily is one of few anime I've seen where I actually want a straight ship to be canon and I don't even know if anyone else is comparable to them... what do you think??
I'm planning to use some tumblr comments as part of this lil article so please do let me know if you'd prefer to be anonymous or have your username named!!
thinking about this one dream, dancing and swirling to Madame Lulu wearing a white dress, in a green field at sunset, somewhere far away from here

tried to do a jax x skeleton x abstraction lil thing (reference at the bottom, original right before it)…. it’s UGLYYYYYYY ASF but i made it so i’ll post it……..
putting up multiple versions because lowkey the effects / low sharpness make it look way crazier
just realised if you post in a community it doesn’t post it on your main blog soooooooo HERE . my first fan edit / drawing in a very long time

good thing nobody saw that (said directly to someone who definitely saw it)
so i’ve decided to come back to being chronically online because in my various research i’ve ended up being on tumblr again after a long ten year break and yall seem pretty good people to cheer on my delulu n investment in fictional gays so why not.
so how does this work again. do i just type shit from time to time. maybe i’ll post my drawings again.....
NaruSasu Founding Fathers of Yaoi? HELP!!!!!!!
If you’ve followed me a little while you may know I’m working on a fanfiction magazine. I’ve been asked what’s queer in fanfic…. I said Naruto…. now I need to write 2000 words on whether NaruSasu are the founding fathers of yaoi (they are).
Writers and readers, if you’d like to be interviewed (you can be anonymous/username-based if you wanna) for this lil article please drop me a message!! And let me know your thoughts in the comments anyway…. (my friend suggested I put the big HELP in the title, does that work?)
Fanfiction and Drawing - Fanmangas / Fanfiction Comics
Hello hello, it's me again! If you've checked out my account you may know I'm in a group working toward launching the first professional fanfiction magazine out there.
It's time to write my next article, and I'd like to talk about the intersection between fanfic and drawing. I'm using the term fanmangas/comics, although I do realise it's a bit wider than that.
I'd love to interview a few of you that have been doing this a long time and maybe even newbies, for a comparison into how this style of fanfiction has changed. I don't yet have a specific journalistic angle because I'd like to see what all of you think first!
I'm also looking for a few recommendations - I'd love to interview someone with a big following community, maybe even for a profile piece specifically about their work, so if anyone pops into mind drop me a message.
If you're interested in chatting with me, also drop me a message or comment!
Let me know what you think :) Thanks!!!

OH MY GOSH LOOK AT THEM
Looking for some experts - What does queer fanfiction let you say that original fiction doesn’t?
Hi again!! This is my second post on this, but I’m currently working on an article for a fanfiction magazine about fanfiction and queerness!
I’m looking to chat over text with a couple of ‘experts’! This could be anyone who’s written a paper on fan studies or topics related queerness, or maybe the nature of your job would make you a great contributor, for instance if you’ve volunteered for charities helping queer people, or maybe you work at bookstores, or are involved in medicine and can comment on the psychology behind the topic! Whatever you’ve done, I would love to hear from you!
The idea:
I'm looking at why writers are 'queering' already-existing characters, and why readers keep returning to queer fanfiction (basically, what it means and does, culturally and emotionally, no matter the fandom). It also asks the differences between original queer fiction in comparison to queer fanfiction. Is queer fanfiction a form of cultural insurgency?
Drop me a message, let's chat :D
What does queer fanfiction let you say that original fiction doesn’t?
Hi hello, I’m currently working on an article for a fanfiction magazine about fanfiction and queerness.
Specifically I'm looking at why writers are 'queering' already-existing characters, and why readers keep returning to queer fanfiction (basically, what it means and does, culturally and emotionally, no matter the fandom). It also asks the differences between original queer fiction in comparison to queer fanfiction. Is queer fanfiction a form of cultural insurgency?
I've seen both sides of the argument, so now I'm looking to have a little chat with anyone with an opinion on this topic, whether positive or negative.
Basically: if fanfiction has ever meant something to you, helped you figure yourself out, pissed you off, or felt more real than sellable “representation," I’d love to hear from you! We can text privately for more info about your involvement.
Drop me a message, let's chat :D
