in hindsight, growing up as an aromantic person who didn't know aromanticism was a thing...it woulda been really easy for me to assume that something was wrong with me, that I was "broken" or "missing" some piece of humanity.
luckily I was autistic, oblivious, and had a huge ego. it literally never occurred to me to frame it as a "me" problem. i just thought every single person i knew was a dumbass

You’re running, heart pounding out of your chest. It’s going to catch you, it’s going to catch you, it is going to catch you. Hands wrap around your legs. Your arms. Your throat. You open your mouth to scream. Nothing comes out. Hot breath runs down the side of your neck. You sob and fall as it yanks your feet. You turn around and gurgle as grotesque hands wrap around your throat. The thing bloated, skin dangling from bones and, as it’s face comes into view—
You jolt awake, sweat clinging to your forehead. Your palms are sweaty, and tears run steadily down your cheek. You look around frantically, your eyes wide and alert. Your shoulders sag when you see Jungkook looking at you worriedly from his side of the bed. His eyes flash with concern, lips slightly parted and the palm of his hand pressed against your lower back.
You sniffle, wrapping your arms around his shoulders, sitting on his lap and pulling him close, breathing ragged and hands shaking.
“Oh, baby…” he whispers, running soothing circles up and down your back, his hand on your waist grounding you. “What happened, love?” He asks quietly, hushing you and whispering reassuringly when all you manage to choke out is a heart wrenching sob. You take a deep breath, your face hidden in the crook of his neck.
“I had a nightmare…” You whisper, your voice croaky and tired, holding him tighter.
Since the two of you had started dating you hadn’t been having nightmares as often, but when you did they felt ten times worse. Your nightmares were terrifying, and you’ve had them since you were five.
“I’m here now. I’ll protect you from whatever comes after you.” He says determinedly, pulling away momentarily to kiss your temple and forehead before resting his chin on your shoulder. You breathe a sigh of relief, burying your face into the crook of his neck, your eyes closing of their own accord as he slowly leans back so that he’s flat on his back.
He's seriously going to let you sleep on top of him, this angel.
You place an innocent kiss to his neck and jaw, tightening your grip on him.
“Thank you.”
There’s a frown in his voice. “What for?”
“For being here, with me... I— I love you.”
“I love you, too.” He kisses your temple, brushing strands of hair away from your face. “Now get some sleep.”

I’m on iOS so for everything, I use Social Maker (and a little photoshop when some tweaks are needed) BUTTTT the app has been out of the app store for quite some time now unforch 😭 though I have seen authors use alternatives like Twinote for tweets + twitter dms and MeMi Message for iMessage—and I believe these are both available on iOS and android, but anyone feel free to correct me!
I have yet to find other alternative apps for this especially for instagram but so far, i have found nothing 💔 either way I hope this helps 😚
