Week 9 - T’s Observations
Mood swings, up and down, right and left. Hello Week 9!
Also E’s idea to stop waking up 3 times in the middle of the night to pee: stop drinking water. I said “not good, really not a good idea”.

Week 8 - T’s Observations
Here are my observations during this 8th week of pregnancy:
- E. is craving these weird foods like brocoli. So much brocoli and also tomato juice.
- E. repulses coffee and other sweets/treats that she would die for.
- E’s sense of smell really developped.
There is only one poverty and that poverty is a heart that cannot love.

“Perhaps our dreams are there to be broken, and our plans are there to crumble, and our tomorrows are there to dissolve into todays, and perhaps all of this is all a giant invitation to wake up from the dream of separation, to awaken from the mirage of control, and embrace whole-heartedly what is present. Perhaps it is all a call to compassion, to a deep embrace of this universe in all its bliss and pain and bittersweet glory. Perhaps we were never really in control of our lives, and perhaps we are constantly invited to remember this, since we constantly forget it.”

Week 6 - T’s Observations
Here are my observations during this 6th week of pregnancy:
- E started washing vegetables and fruits for the first time ever! She also requested her steak to be cooked medium and threw in the trash some food that dropped on the floor, that would have otherwise ended up directly into her stomach.
- E has no more cravings: what happens to the after dinner sweet treat? What happens to the brie? What happens to the coffee?
- E is complaining about feeling bloated and stuffed after even a light meal. Her body temperature is also higher than usual
More to come...

Love is unlimited. Gratitude is unlimited. Peacefulness is unlimited. All of the best things in life have no limit, how wonderful is that?

Dear Vee, For your sake, I’m trying to stay calm. Which is difficult, as there are many irritating people in this world. Especially when one of them happens to be your (maternal) grandmother. You’ll no doubt hear my blood pressure rise when I speak to her. God bless her kind-yet-chaotic soul.
Which is why I strive to be a great mentor to you....so that you’d actually want to hang out with me when you’re older rather than treating it as an obligation. Anyway. You’re the size of a chocolate chip today...with stumps for limbs and a little tail....sorry, but gross. Ha!
Edit: I stopped eating foods that dropped on the ground. The things I do for you, I swear.
Edit 2: Is it bad to admit that I wish you look like T and me? Praying that you don’t look like I just reproduced asexually. You’d be cute, but still...I don’t want T to hold you and have others think that a white man has kidnapped a little Asian girl.
xoxo, E.
Vee, if you want to go into a creative profession, do it. See it through. Work hard and don’t regret.
