Since a fuckass clown with a completely empty blog just came into my inbox trying to guilt trip me into attempting suicide again guess what's replacing my old pinned post? [You get no prizes for guessing, unfortunately.]

The basics: [English names] I am Archibald/Wade. Currently in my mid-20's and I didn't ask to be. I am not considered white, am gay, and accepted a long time ago that I will die alone so there is no need to send me yet more hate mail about that.

I am also congenitally disabled in multiple ways.

Having no money means exactly that: that I have no money. I'm not actually sure if I even exist from a legal standpoint and cannot open a bank account or legally manage my own finances besides cash I find on the street, etc.

"how do you use the internet" latching on to unsecured or public Wifi networks mostly, as I cannot physically take out a loan.

I also currently live with my mother after being disowned by my father in mid-2023, and we actively struggle to pay bills each month as one or both of us keeps having to cut our working hours or gets them forcibly halved. Some months I am employed, some months I am not.

My timezone is GMT-8/Pacific Standard Time. I cannot afford to move so I do not see that changing.

Currently a full time university student so I don't usually have more than a few hours a day to use the internet.

If you block my blog[s], just hard block me because I use this website so rarely that I often have no clue when somebody soft blocks me and will probably still attempt to interact with you, assuming everything is normal. I don't obsessively look at my feed or followers list like most people on this website, this blog follows literally 50 people.

All blogs owned by me are considered low-activity because something like 60% of the people I have met historically do not like me very much for a variety of reasons and some of them [hello Del and Violet, I know you're reading this. It's been 7 years] are still around, stalking me.

I don't have a Do Not Interact list or criteria because I do not use social media enough to care.

I have an Archive of Our Own account here if anyone is interested in that for some reason. Common interests: Gail Simone's Secret Six, the John Ostrander run of Suicide Squad, DC Comics in general. But I dabble in other fandoms on occasion when I have the time/energy to write.

Thank you all for your incredible generosity. As most of you know, aid into Gaza has been severly limited, making the prices of even the simplest things like flour astronomically expensive. Because of this, majority of the funds raised have been used to stave off starvation as famine sweeps through beseiged Gaza. There is a glimmer of hope on the horizon: there is a possibility of the Rafah crossing reopening, meaning people can evacuate once more. It is Mahmoud's greatest wish to evacuate his family, especially his parents as soon possible, and because of this, we've increased the goal amount in hopes of collecting enough money to evacuate the Balousha family. a really great organization that i don't see any posts about here is HEAL palestine. it was founded by steve sosebee, who was a founding president of the PCRF before leaving in late 2023 to refocus his efforts on heal palestine to better meet the needs of palestinians impacted by the genocide. the organization provides palestinians in gaza with food, clean water, shelters, "makeshift classrooms," and even medical evacuation for some children when it's possible--their services are pretty wide.

you can donate here if you would like to send a tax-deductible donation to an organization. also, i don't think any evacuations are possible right now, but if you're in the united states and you'd like to welcome medically evacuated children in the future, i highly recommend signing up for their newsletter or following them on social media so you can stay updated in case any children evacuated by HEAL come to your area for treatment. welcoming these kids at the airport is a really moving way to provide them with moral support, entirely for free.

So I recently finished the Suicide Squad Ostrander Run. It was on my list for a while ago but decided to finally read it cause I wanted to read more about Captain Boomerang and I always like to start with the '87 retcons. I definitely wasnt prepared for his characterization there and won't talk about it here but- I think I now have a new guilty pleasure ship. And I just want to know if I'm the only one in this *ship* with me.

So Deadshot going with Boomerang to his mother's funeral was something. I, at first, thought about this ship lightly in the first issues because why was Lawton visiting Boomerang when he managed to be out of prison thanks to the SS missions he was in?

But the thing is that I was not prepared for what was going to happen after Boomerang's mother's funeral issue.

So basically Boomerang took too many drinks and they missed their airplane so now Deadshot's luggage got lost with his outfit and identity???? And he starts to hate on him so fucking much???

So I don't really have any screenshots of the issues but Deadshot starts threatening Boomerang for losing his luggage and Boomerang's just like "Jeez... I'll have to kill him I guess" and it really shouldnt be as funny as it is 😭😭? Because there's also this page when Deadshot has the opportunity to shot a guy that was fighting with Boomerang and he just decides to not help in the most goofy way possible.

After that Boomerang found his luggage (decided to do that instead of trying to kill him idk why) and gave it to him but Deadshot still hates him because he's a jerk in that run so yeah.

Idk I just think they should have a situationship. Unless you think I'm weird for seeking toxic yaoi whenever I go. Then in that case you didnt saw this post and you can judge me only if you do it in silence.

Also do they even have a ship name. How would that work? Boomershot? Idk. I just can't stop thinking about them and needed to share my current obsession with the world.

I've been increasingly burnt out on the 2 social media platforms I still have active accounts on for around a year and a half now and am barely active. Frankly, finding the time/energy to post is difficult with my current schedule. If it's something that's a chore and it's not literally essential to my survival/dancing along to make my mother happy, I usually don't care much in the short or long term. I don't know when I'll be capable of genuinely enjoying LITERALLY anything that I once did in my free time again to be quite honest. + For those intending to come into my inbox and send me more death threats - Already know I should have killed myself years ago, so you wouldn't be changing my opinion much.
