I fucking love this video
For my birthday my best friend got me a set of glasses that, when you stack them, look like a fish! Genius!
“God poured me out like milk and curdled me like cheese” sounds like a post you’d find on tumblr dot com, but it is in fact Job 10:10
Job would’ve done numbers on Tumblr if he live-blogged his experience. Probably would’ve gotten much the same responses too
Reminder that you're actually interesting. Your hobbies are interesting, your interests are interesting, you are important and loveable and people appreciate you. You're just a loveable, interesting person.
living under a rock is so fun i love watching a movie that’s been famous for decades and being like wow this is so good.. did you guys know about this
"I got that dog in me"
The dog in question:
I love birds. Reasons for living. Little earth choir everyday are you kidding? Beautiful. Indebted and lucky for it.

GOOD MORNING!!! ARMADILLO!!!!
Spot the difference (there is no difference)
we’re banning use of the phrase judeo-christian. there truly is no such thing. what people mean is christian interpretation of the old testament and all the ideas and ‘values’ they pushed onto the world for 2 millennia and they’re too lazy to distinguish that from the fundamentally different ethno-religious group christians took the book from in the first place
asked one of my coworkers how she's doing today and she goes "could be better, could be worse," and another coworker nearby who was eavesdropping chimes in with "could be a lil bit o' alligator curse!" i have no idea what he meant by that but i do know that it has been immediately added to the lexicon.
a really really really underrated feeling in learning a different language is when you start to hear words. as in it's no longer a string of sounds, you can parse through where words start and stop as you're hearing them. even words that you don't know what they mean yet but you can distinctly hear it as a whole word
And learning a whole new script, starting to recognize letters and sound out the words?? Also incredible.
When I started going to shul I didn't know what any of it meant. Now, last time they read Torah, I could follow along in the Chumash on the Hebrew side and pick out the words on the page as I listened to them read aloud. Even if I don't know what all of them mean yet, I am slowing recognizing more and more! Feels good, man.
