Context: We were taking a sandboat across the desert, and on the way we were attacked by a juvenile brass dragon, that wanted to eat our Aarakocra ranger, thinking that it’s a giant chicken. The bard and I had some cunning plans, though.

Bard: “You know, I’ve always wanted a dragon friend. So I tell you what, if I let you eat the chicken, will you be my friend?” DM as Dragon: “I eat chicken?” Bard: “Yes, you can.” DM as Dragon: “Okay!” Me: As it turns away to go eat the Ranger, I cast prestidigitation on its tongue, to make it taste like shit. DM: Prestidigitation only works on non-living material. Me: I cast it on its saliva, then. DM: … Fine, the Dragon roars in disgust and leaps off the boat, screaming that it’s going to go get its mama and starts licking the sand, trying to get the taste out of its mouth. Ranger: “You weren’t actually going to let it eat me, right?” Bard: “…No, of course not.”

This one is actually a WIP piece, an ongoing collab with a fractal artist, “ChaosFissure”. I have turned off all of his layers so what you are currently seeing is my half of the work.
