i told my dad the joke “dad jokes are just mom jokes that a man repeated louder” and he thought it was hilarious. he turned to my mother, intending to relay the joke to her, and a bare second after he opened his mouth i watched it dawn on his face that he was about to become the subject of the joke. when i tell you that man was slackjawed as he turned back to me, like he had an entire life altering realization in the span of about 20 seconds.

There is something so special about a character like Squall to me. He's so self absorbed, cruel and egotistical, he runs a company that controls ALL OF WUNDER. And also he's teaching a kid how to not die by using the thing he has a monopoly over. I also simply refuse to believe he's doing this to use her in the future.

I don't know if this is a hot take or not. Don't think so? But. I don't want Side B to have any unique boss fights. Let it stay like chapter 2. The same fights just playing out differently. Or better yet make it skip fights. I honestly don't want Deltarune to have a Sans equivalent. I absolutely did at one point. I wanted that to be Seam back in the chapter 2 era. But. Now. I think there being no super hard fight at the end of the weird route would just. Cement how fucked it is. Like. Undertale's genocide route is fucked. But you can sort of detatch from it with the. Oh. I'm just doing it for the challenging fights. Give weird route none of that. Let it stay without a "reason" to do it other than just wanting choices to matter. And wanting to see how it changes the characters you're hurting. Leave it tobe story and not so much gameplay.
