i bet girls hated it in 1902 cuz you would constantly go on dates w guys who are working on an invention to present at the world fair
i bet girls also hated it in 1902 cuz you would invent something cool only for a guy to come along, steal the idea, patent it as his own, and then present at the world fair
"Accusations of rape ruin men's lives and careers."
You only have to look at how many footballers who have rape accusations against them that happily represent their countries in huge tournaments like the World Cup without anyone really giving a shit to see what bollocks that is.
Women are rarely taken seriously, rarely believed, rarely stood up for, especially when their abusers are rich and famous.
2026 FIFA World Cup players who’ve been accused of rape and/or physical abuse:
Cristiano Ronaldo (Portugal), Achraf Hakimi (Morocco), Thomas Partey (Ghana), Gonzalo Montiel (Argentina), Thiago Almada (Argentina), Junya Ito (Japan), Kaishu Sano (Japan), Ryan Mendes (Cabo Verde).
At least one of these men, Thomas Partey, is currently actively awaiting criminal trial on seven charges of rape and sexual assault but was still able to play at one of the largest sporting events in the world.
Adding some sources for reference (CW for rape, sexual assault, physical assault, date rape, non-consensual drug use, victim blaming, misogyny, and more):

I think it's cute when depictions of our solar system include earth's moon. Like yeah sure the moon's invited. We just like her
Like simplified models that don't have Literally Everything just the planets. And our moon #OurMoon

Tanith Lee was the first woman to win the British Fantasy Award for best novel, for the second book of the Flat Earth series. She died in 2015. You can buy Tales From the Flat Earth here and here .
You can also borrow some of Tanith Lee’s books from the Internet Archive if you are unable to buy them.
Here’s a link to Night’s Master, the first book in the Flat Earth series.
I cannot recommend Lee’s work enough. And it pains me that I’d never even heard of her until last year.
just wanted to say that you are cute and the fog is not coming. you are beautiful and you really do not have to worry about the fog because it's not coming. The fog wouldn't even be a problem if it was coming, it isn't though, and you are very pretty

Yes
No
“I love you”
- Boring
- Overdone
- No nuance
“I have a duty of care”
- Mysterious
- Lets them know just enough
- Shows that spending four and a half billion years in a torture chamber fighting for them is nothing to you and you’d do it again in a heartbeat
oh this is so sad 😭 this one i saw the announcement for but did not believe it at all so had to look it up but it is devastatingly true. an absolute legend has passed away. i am so grateful for catherine o'hara's art, her characters have made me laugh so many times, i may not have experienced home alone but i particularly loved her work in the beetlejuice duology and schitt's creek. it was my love for sally from the nightmare before christmas that made me want to perform, the first song i ever sang to an audience as a singer was sally's song and sally is and will always be one of my favourite animated characters of all time. i am an avid player of the dreamlight valley game and catherine o'hara returned to her role of sally to voice her character. her work was absolutely incredible.
thank you, catherine o'hara.
