Ok, mother of GOD that's a lot of responses and I am but one man with Excel. I'll update these ASAP but also some rules:

A Pokemon only counts for itself, not its evolution line.

A Pokemon with multiple forms (like Zygarde) will only be counted for the specified form. A Pokemon with multiple appearances (like Spinda, Vivillon, Sylvally, etc.) count for all their appearances.

I'm literally doing this as a testament to my own depression that not everyone is lovable, so add that to the weight of this post's meaning.

I wanted to include the whole wing situation with these two but I didn't mess with the bird wings so they're moths!!! they're different species of Erebus moths :) (Thanatos is a black witch moth and Hypnos is a black v moth)

Can we talk about how Ares is literally not that angry, bro? 😭

He barely has any wrath myths, and those are all understandable. A guys SAing his daughter, a guy killing his dragon-son and some idiot mortal daring to steal get his wife's attention (I guess for him it was like what for us humans it would've been for our girlfriend to "replace" us with a bee).

Idk, he seems kinda chill. He doesn't get angry when they compare certain people to him (which is seen a lot the Iliad), unlike other deities. Other deities have waaay more wrath myths.

I feel like he's more of ragebaiting other people. He likes making other people angry. THAT'S WHAT HE ENJOYS! Fueling people with wrath, making them act violently and, blinded by fury, jump off the ledge that ends in a blood-river.

I think he'd taunt Athena. She has so many wrath myths.

Less Ragebaited Ares and more Ragebaiter Ares, please.

What is your Ares' relationship w/Aphrodite? Asking mostly bc of the recent Phobos/Deimos/Harmonia drawing (which is gorgeous)...

Are they on good terms?/Were they not together in this verse?

Have you ever drawn Aphrodite or the Erotes?

If you had to pick a favorite Olympian (besides Ares) who would it be & why?

Hiii thank you! They are menaces and I love them dearly! And to answer your questions:

1. For me Ares and Aph are former toxic (I mean they killed so many of each other's other romantic interests) lovers who had...many kids together. They spent a couple hundred years off and on, unable to resist the urge to go back to each other, before finally calling it quits realizing they're better off not romantic. Aph is also big time uneven in that she requires far more attention than she gives so it was a bit unequal in terms of fulfillment. They defos still care about each other and are there as support for the other but are much better as friends.

2. I have drawn Aph before but it's been a while and most of them are physical sketch book drawings. Eros though I have drawn somewhat reacently:

Important to note Eros is not my Ares' son. I operate off of the "Eros is a primordial" mythos where he just kind of budded off of Aphrodite in her first iteration in Mesopotamia.

The other Erotes are his as they come about much later in mythos. I have yet to draw them though, I'm still fleshing them out.

3. Hermes! He's my guy! Hermes is the god that got me into Greek mythology way back when! He's got so many things to love! Do you want a guy with extreme multidimensionality? Hermes has it in abundance! He's funny, he's tragic, he's op, he's overworked and underappreciated! He's an Olympian, he's chthonic. The man has variety!
