When Jon thought that no one would try to attack another person, a rock was thrown out of nowhere, he had no idea who did it, but he saw that it was going on someone’s direction, so he flew quickly, and landed in front of the person. The rock hit him, and broke into little pieces, before every single one fall to the ground. At least no one seemed to have noticed and he was able to prevent the person from end up being hit by a rock. If anyone had seen it, he had no doubt that the peaceful protest, would turn into a blood bath, because people would start fighting, but they seemed to be too distracted, he turned around to make sure that the person was okay, it was then that he saw who it was. How didn’t he realize before? He probably was too worried about making sure that she wouldn’t get hurt to see it. He was trying to keep his nerves calm, because he knew that if she noticed that he was nervous, she may suspect, not that she wouldn’t already think that he looked familiar anyway, she saw him naked, how could she not realize that he was Superboy? He truly hoped that she would end up not noticing though.
“Are you okay, miss?” he looked at every inch of her body, trying to find any scratch, but she seemed to be fine, which he kind of already suspected, but he couldn’t help but still be worried, “I’m so glad I got here in time, that rock, could have really hurt you.” @deliaquinzel
Ugh. This was far from where she’d wanted to be today. Delia honestly didn’t have much of an opinion on mutants, let them do whatever they wanted so long as they weren’t tearing apart cities (and frankly, right now it seemed both sides were causing as much destruction as the other). She wouldn’t have been out at all but one of her older contacts from Gotham decided the chaos in the streets from these protests was an opportune time to meet and pass on some information. Delia had worked hard to cultivate all the relationships she had during her marriage and wasn’t about to loose them just because she’d lost (or rather casr off) her husband. The meeting itself went well, she had a head start on some hidden agenda’s coming to the city and a promise that her ex would get a punch in the fact the next time Alfredo saw him at a family get-together. Then she’d gotten stuck between some too-rowdy protestors on her way home and was ready to break out the pepper spray when a suited figure literally swept in and made some room.
Brushing down her skirt and adjusting her hat she looked her rescuer up and down then frowned, “Super-Someone I’m guessing?” she asked, he didn’t look like Superman but an outfit scheme like that was hard to miss. That and... “I’m sorry have you saved me before? Something about you is... familiar.”
