You raised your hands in a fighting position, happily announcing to your partner that you want to play-fight with them. You could stand against them, right?
☆ VASCO
"...W-what?"
You swear you heard his voice twitch. His eyes bugged out in surprise and he blinked at you several times, making sure it wasn't a dream.
"Why? I don't want to fight you!"
Vasco protested, raising up in full panic mode. You were still standing there, not sure if you should just give up.
"Like... a play fight, baby."
"I only fight bad guys!"
Your boyfriend's thoughts were running faster than you could say something. Why were you asking for something like this? Were you doing something bad? No-no, you would never. Was someone making you do something bad?! Were you in danger?
Your hands lowered, just for a moment, before you raised them to his shoulders.
"It's just a joke, love. Couples do those things sometimes... Just pretend we're fighting."
"I would never fight you!" His arms hugged you, lifting you off the ground. "Tell me if someone is making you do something bad! Please!"
"Huh?"
You looked at the sky, trying to understand how his brain got to that conclusion.
Okay, maybe don't try things like this with him again? He'd rather die than hurt you, even lightly.
☆ MARY
You got the most humiliating glance possible from your girlfriend. What are you talking about? You want to fight... her? Was the sun too much for your silly head?
You didn't feel bad under her glance. Instead, your lips twitched.
"What? You scared?"
In one second, your body hit the floor, an unpleasant feeling running through your nerves. Mary moved onto your hips, straddling you. Her expression still didn't change.
"What? You scared?" she repeated, as you blinked at her in surprise.
There was a pause in the air as you swallowed, trying to form something normal. It was hot. Like, super hot. You didn't expect her to be so... Um, hot?
"You could push me from the stairs and I would say thank you."
"Oh my god, what's wrong with you?" Mary groaned, rolling her eyes, but you could see the light blush on her cheeks. And she didn't move at all.
The best decision of your life. Exactly where you wanted to be.
☆ JAKE
His eyes rose from the phone, giving himself a second to think about what you just said. He slowly turned off the phone before giving you a very thoughtful expression.
"Fight you? Baby, you will beat my ass."
Jake said with a very serious face. His hand rose, fixing your posture.
"Like this... Right. So scary."
You gave him a disapproving glance, still standing in the pose.
"What?" Jake asked, blinking at you. His lips twitched as he tried to fight a smile. Attractive enough to make your thoughts run somewhere else. Stay focus!
"You're not taking it seriously."
"What do you mean? I am very serious."
Your arm moved, just to lightly punch his shoulder, and Jake easily intercepted your hand. In one second, you lost your balance and fell right onto him on the couch.
"Oh no-o-o, you won! I am useless against your mastery!"
You pressed your cheek against his chest, feeling his arms quickly slide around your body. Jake pressed a loud smooch on the top of your head.
A win is a win.
☆ SAMUEL
Samuel didn't stop what he was doing at all. His attention was fully on the papers in his hands. The awkward pause hung in the air before he finally looked at you from under his glasses.
"...You finished?"
He asked flatly, looking at you with the same expression. Your hands were still raised in the fighting pose.
"Nope. Let's fight."
The awkward pause once again.
Samuel let out such a deep sigh, like he had the pressure of the whole world on his shoulders. A little bit dramatic, you thought.
His leg moved from under the table, hitting you enough to make you hiss. Your ass met the chair behind you with a creak.
"Fight the paperwork, smartass."
The folder fell in front of you on the table. A clear sign that this nonsense was over.
"I was just trying to lighten the mood," you said dramatically, leaning on the chair, "we've been sitting here since the afternoon. I don't feel my legs anymore!"
"You can go for coffee," Samuel said, his attention back on the papers.
You made a dramatic sigh. At least you tried.
☆ JAMES
"You sure?"
Was everything he said, giving you a blank look. His eyes ran over your fighting position in front of him.
"I am quite a skillful fighter."
"Mhm. Yeah?"
He wasn't taking you seriously at all. Not like you could possibly be an equal opponent for him in a fight, but still... It's not helping your wounded ego!
James's hand rose, long fingers wrapping around your wrist. He simply twisted it. Not really hard, but you still hissed.
"Okay, okay! You won!"
You said immediately, taking a small step back. James let it go without any enthusiasm.
"What, you're already giving up, pretty?"
What a cocky asshole. Agh. You were really weak for his confidence.
"Don't use that tone with me!"
You pointed at him, making him smirk lightly.
"Don't start something you couldn't finish."
"Step back! James!"
His arms wrapped around you, without giving you a chance to run away.
Hi! I hope you're doing well! I’ve read some of your stories and absolutely love your writing. I’d like to request a one-shot featuring Gun (I’M TOTALLY IN LOVE WITH HIM) and a reader who is Goo’s younger sister. The story would take place during the fight between the two of them in Chapter 515: she intervenes by hugging Gun from behind, begging him to stop and come back to his senses. The reader thinks he’s going to hurt her too, but instead, he hugs her back and confesses his feelings!Feel free to add your own ideas—thanks! 🫶🏻
♡ it's not your fight
gun x goo's younger sister!reader
I don't see Gun as the man who could easily say he loves you, but he has his own way of showing it. thanks for your request xx
Goo's voice rose, calling your name. He's not the type to panic at all, but right now? With everything that was going on around him and Gun not being Gun at all? His voice twitched, just lightly.
"...Are you out of your mind?!" your older brother almost hissed, taking a step in your direction.
He said to stay inside. Why were you never listening to him?!
You were never the one who would jump into a fight. Never needed to, because having Goo as your brother is a pretty good flex. No need for you to get your face punched in at all.
So you weren't sure if it was a good idea to jump into this mess. It's gonna be a big problem for your future self.
And Gun wasn't the last person in your life now. Your brother didn't mind you spinning around nearby, so you became a pleasant addition to their duo. Gun didn’t mind, you thought. It actually was hard to say that he's thinking about. That guy wasn't someone with whom you could have a heart-to-heart talk.
Surprisingly, he was always kind of nice. If it could be called that. Your morals were actually pretty questionable, so it's difficult to judge the situation through the prism of your own judgment.
But still, you couldn't say he was treating you badly. Lightly rude? Yeah, but you got used to his straightforward manner of talking. Being Goo's sibling means being immune to that kind of treatment.
So maybe it was kind of crazy to even come here in the first place. Definitely. But you just couldn't stay at home while your brother was trying to kill the guy you were interested in.
You jumped through the rocks, which had been the walls some minutes ago, moving closer to Gun. He didn't twitch as you got closer, neither did he when your arms hugged him from behind.
You weren't sure how exactly it could help. Gun wasn't... quite Gun right now. So your arms just squeezed him harder, like it could stop him from trying to kill your brother.
"Gun, let's not... You both are already hurt enough!"
"Get a fucking step back!" Goo's voice rose louder as he pointed the sword at Gun, "And you better not try something stupid with my sister."
Gun didn’t move. You could feel his uneven breath, his whole body tense. Every muscle in his body was ready to move.
"Gun, please, it's not worth it!"
You squeezed your eyes shut as you felt Gun's body shift. For a second, fear gripped your body. It would end really badly in the worst scenarios you could imagine, but...
Gun's voice was rough as he called your name.
"Get out of here," he said quietly, but loud enough for you to hear, "You're gonna get hurt."
Instead of letting go, your arms squeezed him as hard as you could. You felt him shifting once again, and you were already ready for the worst scenario.
His head moved, looking back at you. Gun's chest was rising and falling heavily. Every breath was made with struggle.
And your eyes opened in surprise as you suddenly got squeezed into his embrace. His strong arms hugged you, lifting you a little bit off the ground.
"Leave," quietly again, "it's not your fight."
"Gun, let's come back, it's..."
"I don't want you to get hurt."
You swallowed, meeting his eyes with uneasy expression. He was looking at you with something that wasn't there before.
"Please," you whispered again, as his rough hand slowly brushed your jawline.
He called your name once, and your chest squeezed. There was something more he couldn't allow himself to say, but his body wouldn't lie. Something much bigger than just your safety.
"Stay alive."
His hand pushed you just in time to dodge an attack from Goo. Your brother's expression was hard as he made a step between the two of you.
"Hey, are you here to fight me or drool all over my sister?" his body shifted into position for the next attack.
Gun didn’t say anything, but his eyes gave you a quick glance. He made sure you were unharmed.
"Take care of her," Gun said.
"Oh, fucker, don't tell me what to do."
You had to move away from the two of them as the fight continued. Your head was spinning, and it took you a good ten seconds to breathe normally.
It couldn't end like this, while you had so much to say to Gun. But nothing in this situation could be changed by you right now.
Your legs walked without thinking, getting you into a safer place, even though Gun's face was still appearing right in front of your eyes.
The only thing you could do was hope. Hope that both of them would make it out of here alive.
You still have things you need to talk to Gun about.
since women aren't so important for the plot, I'm taking everything in my own hands!! a small thing about meeting his mom
☆ DANIEL
God knows why it was taking so long.
Daniel said he needed to walk out for fifteen minutes. It was already double that time, but he wasn't here.
You two were visiting his mom, and Daniel was quite nervous about it. It was the first time you would meet his family, after all!
So why did he stand up so suddenly and leave the two of you alone...? Good question. You'll ask him about it later.
"Maybe..." you said hesitantly, trying to move closer to the meat Seonhui Park was cooking, "...let me help you, Mrs. Park. You must be tired."
She definitely was. The table was already full when you got here and she continued cooking. The woman really wanted to make sure both of you were well-fed.
"No-no! Take a seat, you're a guest!"
Seonhui shook her head, waving her hand at you. You took a seat, as she said, but still close enough to give her a hand if it's needed. It was kind of awkward, honestly, but not because she was treating you badly.
Quite the opposite. The woman met you with such a wide smile, you weren't sure your own mother had ever given you the same treatment.
"I'm very happy that you came to visit me as well. I was so nervous when my son said he's gonna bring his girlfriend."
The woman said, smiling at the cooking meat. The hissing sound was filling the silence and you felt this uneasy feeling inside. She's so kind to you even though it's your first meeting.
"I am very happy to meet you as well, Mrs. Park."
You bowed lightly, making her shake her head again. She definitely wasn't used to this kind of treatment.
"If there's anything I could help with, please tell me."
"I can only ask you to look after each other. He's all grown up already, but..." she paused, placing the nicest piece of meat on your plate, "...just look after each other, okay? Life can be unpredictable."
She was talking from her own experience, it was clear. A lot of things fall on her shoulders in the past years. Daniel told you how much she was working for her only child.
You knew she's nice, but seating right in front of her right now... It made something in your chest to squeeze. Why you're so sentimental all of the sudden?
You bowed again, this time more aggressively. The plate with meat shook from your sudden movement.
"We will, Mrs. Park!"
.
.
"...and then another guy appeared, and one more guy and..."
Daniel swallowed, trying not to talk too loudly. It was already late, his mother was asleep. He was sitting on his knees in front of you, hands squeezed into fists on his lap.
Your arms were crossed, ready to lecture him once again.
"You said fifteen minutes, Daniel."
"I know, I know! But it was..." he gave you an uneasy look, "...Okay, my bad."
You clicked your tongue mistrustfully.
"Wake up early and make breakfast for your mom."
"...Okay."
There was a pause in the air as Daniel gave you a glance. You narrowed your eyes.
"I don't hear you."
"Yes, ma'am!"
You will take good care of him. That's for sure.
☆ JAKE
You really wanted to give her a good impression. After all, she wasn't just Jake's mother, she was the Minseon Kang. You'd lie if you said your palms weren't sweating just from the thought of it.
Jake wasn't helping, actually. Didn't help that he had a very important call as well. Not like you were scared of staying alone with his mother... It was just awkward, okay?
You poured some tea into her cup, making sure everything looked great. Minseon gave you a single nod, her eyes looking at you carefully.
"You're a nice girl."
She said simply. The lighter flashed as she moved it closer to the cigarette between her lips.
"What did you find in my son?"
The question made you look awkwardly to the side, not sure if Jake was nearby and would hear it.
"He's a good person and... We love each other." You nodded at your own words, like you needed confirmation, "And I like..."
"You know what he's doing for a living?"
She cut you off. Not cruelly, she was just kind of forthright. You blinked.
"Yeah... I mean, yes, of course."
"You okay with that?"
Another question, and you had to make a small pause to gather yourself. She really had some authoritative aura around her. And you still wanted to give her a good impression.
"I don't like him putting himself in dangerous situations, but I understand his motives. We talked about it."
Minseon slowly nodded as her keen eyes looked at you carefully. You watched as her elegant hand shook off the ashes.
"Jake followed in his father's footsteps," she said simply, but it was clear she wasn't really happy about it, "But Jake is not his father. Fortunately."
Gapryong hadn't been in this house for a long time already, but you could feel the echoes of his presence. Those walls remembered a lot.
Your eyes followed her as she stood up to take something. A small piece of paper.
"This is my number. Contact me if my son gives you trouble."
Was it an approval?! You took the paper with both hands, giving her a bow.
"Thank you, Mrs. Kang! I will..." your hand moved into the bag, already searching for something to write your number on, "...take my number as well. Call me if you need help at home or just... Or if you just want to talk with someone."
Her lips twitched into a small smile. Not the polite one she was usually giving. She didn't lie, you were a pretty good person. Still a mystery how you ended up with her son.
"That's very thoughtful of you. Thank you."
.
.
"What have I done?"
Jake whispered in your ear as his mother gave him a condemning glance when he came back. She moved to the kitchen to make more tea.
"Seems I'm her favorite now," you showed him the paper with a proud smile. Jake blinked at the number on it, then at you.
"Honestly, I don't think I was her favorite at all..."
"You know the walls are thin, son?"
Jake grimaced. Okay, maybe you are the favorite one now.
I decided to just use mrs in this work because I didn't want to make mistakes 😭 forgive me
what the HELL is wrong with that chapter bruuuuuuh please let it be some stupid plot twist 😭😭 cause it's so fucking lazy and stupid if gitae is actually half yamazaki. why was he even in the Mexico then??? aghhhh i am not okay. fuck ptj let me finish that damn manhwa myself
A dog lover with such cat-like behavior. Sometimes it feels like you're loving him much more than he's loving you.
Not true at all. Feelings are complicated for him, so usually you'll have to make the first move yourself. If you're in a relationship with him, that means he trusts you enough to let you get close. That already says a lot.
He will do a lot of things for you. We saw how he was with his mom. He wouldn't show it much, but he is desperate. His love isn't loud, but it's stronger than you can imagine.
☆ DANIEL
He loves you. I mean, love-love-loves you. You are his light, darkness, sun, moon, earth... Everything, actually. First love, first partner, first person who knew about his biggest secret.
Of course he's wrapped around your finger. He does some dangerous things, so he'd try his hardest to protect you from all that stuff.
And still, he'd come to you for advice. Your opinion is important to him, and he needs your approval. You really should feel the same way about him or it would feel one-sided. Give your boy a kiss, he's stressed.
☆ GOO
How did you two end up together? Maybe it's your shared talent for being pains in the ass or having similar views on life. Anyway, you both need to be a little desperate for each other.
The routine can get a little boring, so it's important for both of you to keep things playful and light. Goo loves being hyped up and he wouldn't mind doing the same for you. You are his pookie, after all.
Bro is needy as fuck as well. Just saying.
☆ GUN
Gun is an attractive man with money, power, and big... mental problems. He won't run after you. Who do you think he is, huh?
But still, if he's in a committed relationship, he wouldn't say no to taking care of you. I mean, he made sushi for Daniel. Do you think he wouldn't do all those things for you?
He appreciates it when you take initiative. Just small things, like in a normal relationship. Making dinner or taking care of minor matters. Show him that love and relationships can actually be nice and you won't have to worry about anything.
☆ JAKE
Not sure who's wrapped around whose finger here. You're both in love and desperate. I don't think Jake could end up with someone who's not 100% into it. Does he have some family trauma? Probably.
He'd do anything for you. Literally. He is so in love, so attentive, that you can't help but act the same way. He really gives off the vibe of the guy who's kissing and hugging his partner while waiting in line, yknow?
He just loves you. Sometimes maybe even a little more than you love him. He doesn't mind.
☆ SAMUEL
It's so difficult for him to stay in a committed relationship. Sammy really has some daddy and mommy issues, along with a fragile ego. He wouldn't run after you, but he depends on your approval and attention.
He could act like all that stuff isn't important, but the moment he realizes how good it can be... Yeah, it's difficult.
He'll do a lot of things for you, make your life easier if you need it. But he needs to feel like he's important to you. Who's wrapped around whose finger? Mostly you. Maybe him. Maybe both.
☆ ELI
Totally the one who's wrapped around your finger. If he's with you, if you're part of his family and his daughter loves you... Bro is gonna tear apart anyone who wishes you harm. Not figuratively. He will actually do it.
He'd do literally anything for the people he loves, so once you're together, he's all in. Eli needs the same treatment, even though he wouldn't say it out loud. But his needs aren't anything extraordinary.
He loves you. He needs to know you love him too. Kisses, touches, small domestic things like normal couples do. He is desperate for you and for the life he could have with you and his daughter.
☆ EUGENE
It's hard to get into a serious relationship with him. Girlboss is busy doing evil things. If you end up with him, he will care about you a lot. It's not like he has many people he can call close, so being his partner is quite an exclusive position.
Support is important to him. You need to understand what he's doing and maybe even help him. He appreciates your loyalty and he'll give you the same in return. Tell him what you want, he wouldn't mind bringing you the damn moon.
He's not desperate, he knows his worth, but you are his partner for life. He doesn't do casual relationships. If you're together, that means he's planning for you to stay by his side for as long as possible.
The red-haired version of James makes me feel something... Sooo in this one James decided to adopt reader?? lol
Your mom said the weather was nice and that you needed to go outside. Have some fun with your friends, she said. What a strange woman. Wasn't she the same person lecturing you about your grades yesterday?
With a book and a laptop you headed outside. Anything was better than listening to her disgruntled scolding through the door. Even though you preferred the calmness of your room to a local park.
Headphones helped you focus a little better. The pen run across the page as you worked through another equation.
Nope. Not right.
You sighed, crossing out the last few lines a little irritably. Okay, ones again...
"Did you get kicked out of the library?"
The sound of the voice made you jump. One side of headphones was immediately pulled off your ear as you looked behind.
James was standing there with hands in his pockets. His face was calm, but he was definitely trying to peek into your notebook.
This guy... again?!
You met him several times already. Every time, it had been under different circumstances.
You'd seen him behind your school with a few guys you knew weren't exactly model students, all of them on their knees. Not my business, you thought, quickening your pace. James's eyes met yours for just a second.
The next time was outside the after-school academy. It was already late when you walked out of the building. You saw the tall guy who kicked the vending machine. Eyes met again and you frowned.
He was definitely a hooligan. The red hair and all that. Everything about him screamed asshole.
"Hey."
Your shoulders tensed the moment you heard his voice. Yeah. Exactly how you imagined it. He really was an asshole.
It took you a second to turn toward him. A few students walked past without paying much attention.
"You got 500 won?"
He was a hooligan. A total hooligan extorting money from another student.
You didn't need any problems, so your hand fished a few coins out of your pocket. A second later, they were resting in his palm, and you were already hurrying down the street. Faster than you expected.
"Thanks. What's your..." James looked from coins, but your silhouette was already several meters away, "...name?"
You hoped it would be the last time you saw him. The last thing you wanted was to get dragged into trouble because of him.
Unfortunately, you ran into him again a few days later. Then again while you were walking home and he was leaving an arcade. One time, you even saw him kicking some guy behind a grocery store.
What was wrong with this guy?! And why did you keep running into him over and over again?
Even now, when you'd come to the park hoping nobody would bother you...
"What?" you finally asked him, as your head processed the information.
"Why aren't you in the library? You are studying there a lot," James looked at you calmly, but there was something in his eyes. He was analyzing your face, every little emotion. It was the first time he'd gotten a proper look at you from this close and under the afternoon sun.
Huh. You actually were pretty cute.
"What?" you asked once again, like you weren't even sure he was talking to you.
Your hand reached up and pulled the other headphone off your ear. What was he talking about? Had he been stalking you or something?
"What are you talking about? I don't even know you," you said in lightly tense tone.
You really didn't need any problems. Maybe it was a mistake to give him money back then. Now he wanted more, right? Guys like him always acted like this. You're being kind and they're using it against you.
"I'm James."
Simply as ever. Hands still in his pockets. So confident, like he own the whole damn city. Agh, you should've known better, right?
You frowned even harder. This was getting ridiculous.
"Listen, I don't need any..."
He finally moved, taking a seat next to you on the bench. His posture was relaxed, completely unbothered by your obvious discomfort.
"...problems," you finished. Your shoulders tensed even more as your hand reached to close your notebook.
Running away wasn't a bad plan. It was tactical.
"There," he took the coins out of his pocket and placed them into your open palm. His skin was rough. He must do a lot with those hands.
"H-huh?"
"You gave me money that time. I'm giving it back," simple once again.
Why was he acting like you two were buddies? You couldn't understand. None of this made any sense. You'd barely even spoken to him before!
James lazily unwrapped the lollipop. Just a guy chilling with his friend under the afternoon sun.
Maybe if you ignored him, he'd... Just go away? That had worked pretty well before.
So... Silence settled between you. Big and uncomfortable. For you, of course. You tried to ignore his presence as well as the way he shifted just a little closer. His sharp eyes wandered across the page, scanning your work.
"You made a mistake here."
Your head snapped toward him. He was mocking you, right? That was exactly the kind of thing a guy like him would do...
Still, your eyes drifted to the place where he'd tapped the page. You only glanced at his long and pale fingers for a moment, but it was enough to make you feel stupid.
Not because of the mistake. After all, you were one of the best students in school.
...
Damn. He was right.
You made the dumbest mistake ever. This was exactly why you liked studying somewhere quiet instead of in a public park.
"You... you're right."
You never had a problem admitting your own mistakes. But having him point it out? Oh no. That was terrible for your ego. The guy was a hooligan who beat people up at night.
"So... are you gonna tell me your name?"
You shifted your eyes. Still distrustful, still tense in every part of your body. You reminded yourself once again that you didn't need any problems. Or some strange-looking guy as your friend.
You already had plenty of friends. The girls who are seating with you at lunch... And the old lady working in the school library.
That was enough.
Still, you told him your name. He simply hummed. James had already known it. He just wanted to make things easier for you.
"Cool. Wanna grab something to eat?"
"What?" you asked for what had to be the tenth time already.
"My treat."
He raised one hand in surrender.
"Why are you acting like we're friends?" You finally asked, looking at him with undisguised distrust.
This situation was strange from every possible angle. There was no way he suddenly wanted to become buddies with you. It didn't work like that.
"We're gonna be."
His lips twitched in something like a small smirk. You were right. He was a damn cocky asshole.
Your mouth opened, but you immediately closed it. James was acting like you were a stray dog he'd just decided to adopt.
Honestly? He kind of did, considering that your paths crossed that day.
"Where'd you get the money? Are you stealing from other students?" you looked at his uniform. It wasn't familiar.
"No."
A lie. Clear as day. Even you, with your complete lack of social experience, could tell.
"No, I'm not going anywhere with you."
You said with a small frown, turning your attention back to your notebook. Trying to look like you were very busy.
James didn't move an inch, carelessly chewing on his lollipop. You heard it crack between his teeth.
James had plenty of time. He wasn't busy at all today.
Hi!! I love your fics sm, I was wondering if you could do a Samuel x reader fluff pleasee where like Samuel is rlly touchy🥺✌🏼 Thank youuuu!!!!!!!
♡ touchy
samuel seo x reader
Sammy is being soft
Samuel is not a touchy man in the romantic way. Sure, he can have his hand on your thigh or on your hip when he is relaxed. But it not really about love for him. He just likes to show that he can do it. That you are his. Sammy always try to prove something to someone.
So it always your initiative to by touchy. Samuel doesn't mind it. If anything, it's good for his ego. Being desired, loved and appreciated, I mean.
But in those rare moments when he's the one who initiated it, it's really important not to scare him away.
"Tired?"
You voice was calm, when you felt how bed shift behind you while you were focused on the laptop. Samuel didn't say anything, eyes are slowly wandered over your silhouette.
"Mhm," he hummed, placing his big palm in your waist. Even through the fabric of your nightclothes, he could feel the warmth of your body.
Samuel shifted closer until his arm wrapped fully around you. Face pressed on the back of your neck, as he quietly breathed in. Your scent had become so familiar.
His bed smelled like you all the time now.
Kind of pathetic. At least, that's what he told himself.
"A long day?" you asked quietly, pushing the laptop to the side. Not so important right now.
He hummed again, hands are slowly moving along your side. There was nothing suggestive about it. Just... feeling you.
Samuel never let people get too close. And yet somehow, you'd become an inseparable part of his life. It was stupid, really irrational for him to think about you all the time. He had plans. Big ones. Now he wanted you to be the past of his future as well.
Pathetic.
"I will give you everything..." Samuel murmured quietly, as his palms run around your body once more. His lips pressed on the side of your neck. Small and almost tender, nothing like him at all, "...but you gonna stay by my side no matter what."
He paused.
"Right?"
You tilted your head to look at Samuel's face. What had gotten into him? His face was still buried against your shoulder, almost as though he felt too vulnerable to let you look at him.
"As long as you will love me forever."
You smiled.
"Right?"
You teased him a little bit, trying to make the atmosphere lighter. Even though your heart tightened at the way he was clinging to you. So unlike him.
You wouldn't comment it.
"Right," Samuel's voice was low. He made a deep inhale, nuzzling his nose in your neck, as his hands gently tightened around your waist. "You right. I will."
He wants to be king. Does it makes you his queen?
it took me longer that I expected lol. sorry anon ♡
they're thinking about how it used to be. kind of angst?
☆ JINRANG
Jinrang didn't really regret many things. He had simply accepted that life wasn't fair, especially for the weak ones.
So he never thought breaking ties with you had been the wrong choice. The last thing he wanted was for you to get hurt or, God, something even worse. Not having you by his side anymore hurt, but knowing you were safe was enough for him.
But sometimes he couldn't help himself.
.
.
"I just want to stay like this," you said quietly in the darkness of the room.
Your bare body was pressed against his back, your arms wrapped loosely around him. You didn't have enough strength to hold him the way you usually did. So tightly, making sure he knew how much you loved it. Loved being close to him.
"... I'll stay as long as you need me to," he replied calmly, just like always. But you could hear it. That warmth in his voice that existed only for you.
His larger hand gently covered yours. His touch was always soft. Jinrang was gentle with you because he knew his own strength was enough to hurt.
.
.
Even in that memory, he'd already been thinking about letting you go.
He still felt guilty whenever he remembered the look in your eyes after he brought it up several weeks later.
And he wasn't sure whether he was a coward or just an asshole. Everything he'd done had been for you, to let you live somewhere safe.
You deserved that more than anyone. You had shown him what love was. You had made him desperate for your little touches and glances. Jinrang had promised himself he'd keep you safe, even if it meant never holding you in his arms again.
He sighed before finishing the last sip of soju from his glass.
Life was so unfair. He knew that.
Because even after all this time, whenever he was left alone with his thoughts... They always drifted back to you.
He missed you way too much.
☆ JICHANG
He sat with his eyes closed for a long while. Not because he was especially tired, there simply wasn't much happening in Chungcheong.
Jichang wasn't sure why he felt so uneasy, like something heavy was pressing against his chest. Slowly, he opened his eyes, already reaching for the notebook resting in the far corner of the desk.
A cigarette was tucked between his lips as he opened the familiar black notebook. On the last page was a photo. He hadn't touched it since the day you'd slipped it inside.
Your smile was bright, but your eyes were focused entirely on the person taking the picture.
.
.
"You want to bring your brothers here?"
You placed a mug in front of him while his eyes slowly scanned the paper in his hands. He hummed, looking up at you over the rim of his glasses.
"Definitely not yet. I was thinking about having them attend high school in Seoul," he answered simply, giving you a small nod in thanks for the coffee. "Why do you ask?"
"Jihan called me. He was whining about missing me."
Jichang raised an eyebrow. His younger brother really was that attached to you, huh?
"Mhm."
He nodded after a few seconds.
"I'll see what we can do."
.
.
We. Not just him. Because back then, the two of you had been stable.
Jichang was the King of Seoul and you were by his side. Safe and protected.
It was almost funny how much everything had changed.
The cigarette had burned itself out by the time the memory finally faded. He lit another one but his eyes remained fixed on the photo. He hoped you were doing alright. After all the breakup had been hard on you.
Back then, he'd lost everything in Seoul.
His hand closed the notebook. He really needed to make a few calls and find out how you were doing.
No matter how much time had passed. You had been part of his family. You always would be.
☆ JAEGYEON
His palm slid across the steering wheel, feeling the material beneath his fingers. It didn't feel right.
He looked around the interior of the car. When he'd chosen it, he'd thought the design looked great. Now... That didn't feel right either.
He stepped out of the car, his eyes roaming over it several times. The colors were bright. He'd really thought they would suit it.
So why did everything feel so damn wrong?
Jaegyeon let out a long, exhausted sigh. He'd been happy to sell his old car and buy this one. It was better in every way, right?
He knew it wasn't about the engine. Well... Mostly.
The real problem was that you weren't sitting beside him anymore. That was why everything felt so empty.
.
.
"These two."
You placed two paint samples in front of him, making him glance up. Jaegyeon wiped his hands before studying the color combination for a few more moments.
"Why these?" he asked, holding the samples up to see how the paint changed under different angles.
"They're my favorite," you answered simply.
Something in his expression changed.
Your favorite? He'd never asked before. Suddenly those two colors looked much better. He moved the samples around once more as though he were still considering the options, even though he'd already made up his mind.
His car in your favorite colors. Your little things are laying around, quietly proving how often you were there. With him. He felt stupid for how much it affected him. Love was a strange thing.
"Actually, I wanted these colors from the start," he said. You rolled your eyes.
"Sure, babe."
The corners of Jaegyeon's lips twitched into a grin. He buried his nose against your shoulder, wrapping his arms around you a little tighter.
.
.
He really wished life could stay like that forever.
But it didn't.
Jaegyeon had decided the two of you couldn't stay together.
He wasn't planning to leave that life behind anytime soon and he knew exactly how it could end for you.
He'd lived through that pain before. He wasn't sure he could survive it again if one day you stopped breathing because of him.
jake x fem!reader x samuel (and, honorable mention, lineman!)
Your paths diverged a long time ago, but Incheon had other plans.
It was already awkward the moment you saw Samuel.
After leaving Big Deal, the two of you had met several times for different reasons but neither of you had ever said more than a simple greeting. The days when everything felt lighter seemed so far away now.
The golden age of Big Deal was nothing more than a memory and neither of you had been part of the crew for what felt like forever.
Samuel had grown bigger and stronger. More mature, you would say. Back then, your relationship had been something close to friendship, even though it had always been difficult to give it a proper label.
So when Jake showed up with Lineman standing awkwardly behind him, you genuinely wondered if the universe was playing some kind of stupid joke.
"You look good," you said a few hours later, tapping the Big Deal logo on Lineman's t-shirt. It looked cute, you thought.
Good for them for finally getting something besides those coats, because you'd always wondered how they managed to beat people up while wearing them.
Lineman awkwardly looked away, trying to ignore the attention you were giving him. He could physically feel two pairs of eyes boring into his back.
"Thanks, noona, we... um..."
The younger man met your eyes and immediately turned red with you standing so close.
Why were you paying so much attention to him?!
"We can get you one too, if you want. In your size and... I mean..."
He stopped himself, awkwardly scratching the back of his neck.
"Really? That's cute," you smiled at him and the poor guy made a sound like he wanted to inhale but forgot how.
The sound of Samuel clicking his tongue was loud enough for everyone to hear. He made it very clear that he thought this whole scene was ridiculous.
"Don't fall for her charms. Playing with men is practically her job," he said. Jake immediately shot him a disapproving look.
"Don't say that," the leader of Big Deal felt the need to defend your honor. Kind of.
It wasn't entirely wrong, though. You had always been the one handling diplomacy. Being on the front lines had never really been your thing. The possibility of getting punched in the face had never sounded particularly appealing.
You glanced at both of them, almost rolling your eyes. Of course they had to comment on it.
"They're just jealous," you told Lineman with a small smile, lightly patting his chest. He swallowed hard. "And I meant it. Cute."
Number Five opened his mouth, unsure whether he wanted to say something or whether he was simply trying to remember how to breathe.
He turned to look at the two older men behind him.
Awkward.
"Well, Lineman isn't wrong," Jake said, smiling as you looked over at him. "We can get you one too. And we still have your coat."
He pointed toward Samuel.
"His too. So... think about it."
Think about it? You hummed, your eyes drifting back to the Big Deal logo on Lineman's chest. Was that some kind of invitation?
You weren't part of any crew anymore. Too much drama. After everything that had happened several years ago, you weren't sure joining another one was a good idea.
"And call you boss? No, thanks, Jake."
He was standing closer now, still smiling. His arm lifted instinctively, but he stopped himself almost immediately.
It wasn't a good idea.
Back when you were younger, he would've casually thrown an arm around your shoulders without thinking twice. You'd been close back then. Now? Just acquaintances.
A lighter clicked behind him as Samuel lit another cigarette. He noticed Jake's arm start to move but didn't comment on it. There was simply too much left unsaid between the three of you.
Your paths had split apart and never truly crossed again.
So instead of giving you the side hug he wanted to, Jake quietly draped his jacket over your shoulders. It was a little cold, wasn't it? He was just being a gentleman.
You blinked as the scent of his cologne reached you, but you didn't have time to comment. Jake had already stepped back, immediately getting pulled into another verbal argument.
"And you're still groveling after her," Samuel said with an unimpressed expression.
So much time had passed, and Jake was still trying to be the good guy whenever you were around.
"It's just cold," Jake shrugged.
"Sure."
Samuel glanced at the oversized jacket resting on your shoulders before his eyes met yours. They lingered there for a few silent moments before he looked away.
He remembered draping his own jacket over your shoulders once.
So it's gonna be a soft sweet story where jake has a day off and reader isn't busy either, and they're just having fun, cute and funny moments! And maybe with the rest of big deal.
Lookism only be having fights now I miss the sweet stuff T_T
BTW I love your fics!! I just found them and I'm in love >3<
a/n: hiiii anon! ♡ thanks for your request. I am so happy to write about jake. he's my favorite hehe
♡ Jake and reader have a day off.
Someone might say that being in a long-term relationship is boring. There aren't as many butterflies anymore, dates become regular hangouts and at that point you two are practically live together.
If you're addicted to the new emotions, try dating Jake Kim. You'll get the full package of emotions! From the happiness of knowing his dumb ass is still alive, to the indescribable horror of seeing him come home with a bloody face after ignoring your calls all day.
"Sometimes I forget there are places this quiet," you murmured, because the moment felt too good to disturb it with a louder voice.
Nothing too special. Really.
You and your boyfriend had grabbed some food, brought a blanket and found a quiet spot not too far from Big Deal street, but far enough to have a few hours alone.
"Yeah," he answered after a few seconds, turning to look at you.
You were leaning comfortably against his shoulder, your hands intertwined. Just a moment for the two of you. He really needed that.
Jake let out a long, tired sigh before pressing several soft kisses to your forehead.
"I really should take you out more," he said quietly, meeting your eyes. "You're way too pretty to spend all your time stuck inside with me."
Your only response was a chuckle because you'd already had this conversation countless times. His life was one crazy marathon after another. You understood.
"No, I'm serious..." Jake protested when you laughed it off. You raised your hand and lightly slapped his thigh. He winced.
The poor giant baby acted like you'd seriously hurt him. Yeah, it hurt! It hurt his soul!
"Let's drop it for now. I just want to spend some time with my boyfriend without having this conversation again..."
Jake looked like he wanted to argue. Instead, his words died the moment your hand cupped the back of his neck and you leaned in to kiss him.
It could wait.
"... I think it can wait."
Jason was the first to say it out loud after a long silence. Brad scratched his jaw before nodding.
Of course something had to happen on the one day Jake finally took a day off. The last thing they wanted was to bother him while he was spending some free time with you. They'd seen how tense he'd been for the past few days. Hell, maybe even weeks.
"Well... it's just some water, right?"
Brad asked after another moment of silence.
Several guys were carrying boxes out of the shop while they could hear Lineman shouting something about the water still not stopping.
The two exchanged a glance.
It could wait.
"Don't you think..." Jake placed another big kiss on your lips, making you giggle, "... it's kind of strange that no one's looking for us?"
He kissed both of your cheeks before burying his face in your neck. He was always so touchy.
"Actually... now that you mention it..."
You glanced at the phone lying on the blanket. No new messages from the chats. Even Lua had been suspiciously quiet. Lua? Quiet?
It gave you the same feeling as when kids suddenly stop making noises. Like something definitely happened.
Jake looked at you. You didn't even have to say anything. He could tell exactly what you were thinking just by looking at your face.
"... Dinner at my place?"
Two birds with one stone. More private time with you and he could quickly check on the street while he was at it. Something was telling him he should.
"You guys don't know how to turn off the water?!" Lua shouted, staring at the amount of boxes they'd rescued from the second shop that had flooded too.
"We're not locksmiths, Lua! Move!" Lineman shouted back before tossing his soaking wet coat at her. She squealed and jumped out of the way.
"I think that actually is a plumber's job..." Brad mumbled, opening one of the boxes to see if the clothes inside had survived.
Jerry walked out of the second shop. Completely soaked, but wearing the same stoic expression as always.
Everyone looked at him. Apparently, he'd finally managed to turn the water off.
"We need to tell Boss Jake about this," Jerry said.
Everyone immediately grimaced.
"No! Nope! Him and Noona need some time alone! You people who've never been in a relationship just don't get it!" Lua protested.
The guys grimaced even harder. That was a sore subject. Lua never been in relationship as well. Neither said it out loud.
Everyone was so focused on the chaos that they didn't notice the couple standing right behind them.
Jake looked thoroughly unimpressed, your hand resting comfortably in his. Looks like he'd been right after all. Something indeed happened.
"Tell me about what?"
His voice suddenly sounded so loud that everyone jumped.
Within seconds, they were standing in a neat line. Completely soaked and looking like they'd just fought Poseidon himself.
Jake put two and two together almost immediately and simply sighed. He glanced at you, silently asking if it was okay for the two of you to stay a little longer.
"Take off your jacket first, hero," you murmured, helping him out of it as he was already walking inside to make sure everything was alright.
He stopped and blinked at you, as if he'd suddenly realized he'd forgotten something.
And he had!
He leaned down and pressed a gentle kiss to your lips. Everyone else's eyes immediately drifted toward the sky. They still couldn't get used to how openly affectionate the two of you were.
But could you really help it? You were just in love.
"You're the best," he whispered for your ears only, "And I promise I'll take off something else tonight."
cuddling with someone you care about is important for your happiness and mental health, so here are some small headcanons about how the Allied boys cuddle
☆ DANIEL
Sweet boy loves being close to you but he still gets flustered easily. Physical touch is a pretty common thing for him and he doesn't mind it, but there was always something special about being held in your arms.
His own arms never squeeze you too tightly, just enough for you to feel how much he appreciates being close. Simply being near you is enough to make him feel better after a long day. Cuddles make all the tension leave his shoulders.
☆ VASCO
His arms hug you way too tight sometimes which is why you have to remind him not to be so aggressive with his love.
He loves wrapping his arms around your waist and lifting you into the air with the biggest smile on his face. Your attention is so important to him, so if you're the one who initiates the hug... Agh, man, he gets excited again and you have to remind him that he's a very big and very strong man.
He can't help himself. He just loves you.
☆ ZACK
The one who's always trying to play it cool. A few casual side hugs here and there like it's really not a big deal. Every time he just hopes you don't have super hearing or something like that, and can't tell how loud his heart is beating.
Physical touch means a lot to him. It's proof to the world that the two of you are close enough to casually hold hands, stand side by side or give each other a quick side hugs.
Initiate the hug yourself and you gonna see how his nonexistent tail is wagging at full speed.
☆ JAY
He's full of love. Really. He doesn't say it out loud (he doesn't speak at all...) but he's the type to show it through actions.
His hugs are never too tight, almost hesitant at first, making sure you're comfortable. Your well-being always comes first and he's trying his best for you all the time.
Once he realizes you're more than happy to hug him back, he relaxes a little. His hands start doing little things like fixing your clothes or making sure your hair looks nice.
☆ VIN JIN
The one who lifts you into the air all the time. Not because he's excited and completely in love (he is)... He's just being an asshole. Trying way too hard to be that guy who's always casually throwing an arm around his partner.
Well... He's pretty good at pretending.
Side hugs just to tease you. Suddenly lifting you into the air while hugging you from behind. Vin loves reminding you how strong, hot and amazing he is. Don't you feel lucky?
The whole tsundere act falls apart the moment you're the one who hugs him first, your cheek resting against his chest as your eyes are blinking at him. In those moments he's the one who feels lucky.
☆ HUDSON
He never thought much about hugging someone before he met you.
Now having an arm around you feels so natural that he can't help hugging you all the time. He just loves feeling your warmth so close, knowing he's there to protect you and make sure you're safe.
He is the Sun of Ansan, after all. Obviosly.
Stand on your tiptoes, hug him and press a little kiss against his jawline. It's going to be really hard for him to keep pretending it doesn't affect him so much.
Hey so this is my first time doing a request and so I’m lowk nervous and feel free to ignore this req if you want but can you do some scenarios with a reader that has selective mutism with gun, goo, Jake, and Samuel. And any other characters you wanna add also I love your fics sm!🥺
a/n: hiii anon ♡ it's my first time as well, so don't worry lol. i had to make some researches for this one, so i hope u will like it!
Gun, Goo, Samuel, Jake
boys with a reader who has selective mutism
In general, I think all of them look for independence in a partner but they wouldn't mind doing things like telling the waiter your order or not pushing you to talk to new people. The problem starts when it's causing you discomfort or making your life more difficult.
I mean if the reader is constantly stressed because of it, they would definitely try to do something about it. Some of them wouldn't sugarcoat it at all (let's be realistic, even though I love writing romanticized scenarios).
☆ GUN
Well, good luck, because this is the guy who turned Daniel into a masterpiece. He can make you overcome something as simple (for him) as selective mutism. Gun is either going to make you even more anxious or you'll get over it within a month.
You swallowed hard while standing beside him.
He was silent. The barista was silent as well, blinking at both of you after asking for your order but neither of you said anything. His hands rested casually in his pockets, not bothered by the situation at all.
You said this whole selective mutism thing was causing you discomfort? Well, overcome it. Gun was simple when it came to things like that.
You felt your stress level reaching its peak as another customer stepped into line behind you.
"Two cappuccinos, please..." you said, your voice quiet but the barista, bless her soul, understood you and immediately started preparing the order.
Gun didn't say a word, even though your eyes had been drilling holes into the side of his face the entire time. Sometimes you really were questioning how you ended up with this man.
"You think this will help me?" you asked once the two of you left the cafe.
Gun had even made you pick up the order yourself and properly thank the barista.
"You ordered without my help. You can do it," he said simply, opening the car door for you. "It's reverse psychology."
He doesn't know shit about psychology.
☆ GOO
Good luck with this one too. You really have to be immature enough to match his stupid jokes if you want to get close to him. Because I genuinely can't imagine him not bringing it up all the time. Nothing too much, of course. He knows when to slow down.
"What happened, pancake?" Goo asked, setting a paper bag full of something delicious-smelling on the coffee table.
You were lying with your face right into the pillow. The most dramatic pose possible after experiencing the worst fifteen minutes of your life at the public hospital because you needed a single document.
That woman had been so annoyed by how quietly you spoke, which only made you even more nervous.
You were trying to be nice. Why couldn't she do the same?!
"The world is so cruel to it's nicest souls..." you mumbled into the pillow before turning to look at him. After hearing about your unsuccessful trip, Goo immediately started laughing his ass off.
Not a second of sympathy.
"The world is so cruel to my pinkie pie..." he snorted at his own joke before catching your unimpressed stare.
"You are being a bitch and I'm staying home for the rest of my life."
"Not very progressive of you to become a stay-at-home wifey," he teased again. You continued staring. "What? I'm very informed about feminism. I watched a TikTok about it."
He really can't take anything seriously.
☆ SAMUEL
To be honest, Samuel isn't the type to be a shoulder to cry on. He'll take care of you, but in his own way. That guy needs help too... he's not exactly the most emotionally reliable person around.
You were stressed as hell. You had been rehearsing that conversation for twenty minutes beforehand. And it still didn't go as planned.
Again.
You awkwardly handed the documents to another employee, nodded at his question, and hurried away. You were trying. Really trying.
A cold bottle pressed against your cheek, making you look up at the intruder. Samuel glanced at you from head to toe and let out a deep sigh. So loud and unapologetic.
Without another glance, you took the water from his hand and thanked him, even though you already knew what he was going to say.
"You really need to deal with that," he said simply, making you grimace. "You can't even work normally."
"I know, smartass." you opened the bottle and stared at it for a few seconds. "I'm trying but every time I open my mouth, it just doesn't feel right. Do you understand that?"
"Not really," he answered in the same flat tone. It was your turn to sigh. Samuel was lucky you were patient.
He fell silent, looking at you from behind his brand-new glasses. You looked like someone had kicked your puppy. Samuel clicked his tongue.
"Find a specialist. I'll pay for it."
He's not going to deal with it directly but he does have money.
☆ JAKE
Probably the most sensible one on this list. Jake may have some questionable morals but he's incredibly sweet when it comes to the people he loves. If there's a problem, he'll try to help. Your well-being is his priority.
"We can start with something simple," Jake said after several moments of thinking.
He knew about your problem and he knew it was causing you distress. Jake hates seeing his loved ones stressed, so he slowly brought up the topic.
Eventually, the conversation turned to how much it affected your life and honestly, he felt bad for you.
"For example?" you asked quietly, playing with the edge of his sleeve while resting your head on his shoulder. His arm wrapped around you, making sure you felt safe in his presence.
"Small steps. Maybe start with buying an ice cream," he nodded toward a nearby ice cream stand.
You pursed your lips, considering it. It didn't sound too difficult.
"I can try..."
You nodded and took a moment before standing up. While taking a deep breath, you were mentally rehearsing what to say.
"Do you want me to come with you?"
You shook your head.
"Okay. I'll be right here, baby. If you don't feel like doing it, just come back to me."
God. So sweet. You really didn't want to disappoint him, even if it meant pushing through that damn feeling in your chest.
And you did it.
When you came back carrying two ice creams, Jake greeted you with a bright smile before pressing a big kiss to your forehead.
"Good job. Not so scary, right?"
He'd make sure you knew he was there whenever you needed him.
reader makes his routine (life) better. sweet and silly. everyone is in love. sigh.
☆ ELI
"Aren't you the cutest?"
Your smile was bright as Yenna tugged at the collar of your windbreaker. Your walks around the playground always ended the same way. Yenna would climb onto the bench, paying more attention to you than to the games and the other children.
The little girl's bottle was clutched in her small but surprisingly strong hand. She took several big gulps, making those familiar sounds as if she'd never tasted water before.
"Better, baby?" you smiled as the kid nodded and handed you the bottle. "Daddy is going to be back soon. Don't you want to play while we're waiting?"
Your hand fixed the ponytail you'd done for her that morning, but Yenna shook her head.
No. No, no, and one more time... no! She was staying right here.
"Sorry... You two alright?" the familiar voice made you turn around.
The little girl's squeals immediately got louder as she raised her hands, babbling something in her own language.
"There was a huge line."
Eli pressed a small kiss to your temple. A brief touch but it meant so much more. His eyes quickly scanned over you and his daughter once again, making sure you were both safe. When he didn't spot anything wrong, he smiled.
Good.
His arm slid around Yenna before lifting her into the air. You stood up as well, and his hand immediately settled on your lower back, making sure the two most important people in his life stayed close.
A small routine. Just you, Yenna, and him. Spending time together without any particular purpose. Yet every moment filled his heart with a quiet warmth.
This was his family.
"Shit, I forgot..." Eli blinked at the plastic bag in his hand. He muttered it quietly, making sure little ears wouldn't hear.
"Shit!" she repeated. Loud and crystal clear.
You pressed a hand over your mouth while Eli gave you the most horrified look of his life.
☆ TAESOO
His attention was always on you.
Just casually checking to make sure everything was alright. Not because he was overprotective (well, maybe a little). He knew you could take care of yourself.
It just happened that the mountains were dangerous. He trusted you and your survival skills, but his eyes still drifted back to your silhouette every now and then.
"There!" you said excitedly, squatting down beside him near the bonfire. Several berries rested in your palm.
"You sure they're edible?" he teased, taking all of them before tossing them straight into his mouth. "If I die, you're staying here forever."
"If I wanted you dead, I'd come up with a better plan." you wiped your hands on your pants and sat down beside him.
The two of you sat in comfortable silence for a few moments before you suddenly asked:
"... Wait. What meat is that?"
"Snake."
"H-Huh?"
You blinked at the fire once before giving him a suspicious look. Snake? Like snake snake? The long and hissing one?
"I love you very much, but I don't want to eat that..."
He chuckled, the sound low and rich. His hand ran around your thigh, enjoying the simple comfort of having you so close. Just you and him, with no one nearby.
"Just kidding, darling. It's chicken," he murmured against your jaw, breathing in your scent. He knew you didn't like culinary experiments, so he always made sure you were well-fed even out here in the forest.
His lips brushed against your neck, the rough bristles of his jaw touched your skin. Just as his hand started to move under your shirt, you made a sound of protest.
"Did you wash your hands?"
"Did you wash your hands before feeding me those berries?"
"... Fair enough. Take off your clothes."
☆ SEONGJI
You raised your arms into the air and took a deep breath. Ahh. The air here was so clean. No city noise. No crowds.
Honestly this place could be sold as some ridiculously overpriced retreat for wealthy people looking for a few days of peace and quiet. Not a bad business idea.
"Drink," his voice pulled you from your thoughts.
Seongji held out a cup filled with something warm, his gentle eyes looking at you as if you were something precious.
Well, to him, you were. The most precious thing in his life.
"It's so nice here!" you said, taking the slightly battered mug from his hands.
He didn't bother hiding his fingers from you anymore, having finally accepted that you never saw them as something strange.
"The air is so fresh! And I saw a mouse over there..."
You pointed off to the side.
"Much cuter than the city's rats," you added dramatically. That earned a slightly wider smile from him.
He simply nodded, because honestly, he wasn't sure how big city rats actually were.
You kept talking about the beauty of this place and he found himself unable to stop his thoughts from wandering.
This place had always been his refuge. The place he'd retreated to while hiding from the rest of the world. He'd never thought of it as something beautiful.
The only beautiful thing here was you.
Your presence made everything feel lighter. Brighter. You made him feel like this damned mountain wasn't such a bad place after all. His chest tightened at the thought.
How had he lived without you before? And what had he done to deserve someone so wonderful by his side?
You stopped talking when his arms suddenly wrapped around you, his face buried in the crook of your neck.
"Seongji?" you asked worried. For a moment, you were afraid he wasn't feeling well again.
"Let's just... stay like this. Please," this time, it was your heart that tightened, "Just a little longer."
pls tell me which characters youd like to see more!! also im trying to improve my writing since ive never written in english before. im kinda sweating trying to use better vocabulary well have fun
There wasn't a label on your relationship. Best friends? It sounded kind of childish, but you liked to call him that. It didn't really matter at the end of the day. It was always you and him.
☆ GOO
"Not fair," you said in a dissatisfied tone, your eyes fixed on the screen. You knew it would end like that. He was good at this game, after all.
Goo was grinning from ear to ear, looking as happy as if he'd won millions. One arm was wrapped around your shoulders, his fingers slowly tracing circles over your bare skin in an oddly soothing way.
"Aww, look at that face!" his free hand reached up, and you gently slapped it away before he could pinch your cheek. "So grumpy! Do you want me to let you win? Hmm? Want me to?"
You gave him an unimpressed glance, making him giggle like a schoolgirl. What was his problem?
Both of his arms wrapped around you, pushing you back against the couch. He was all touchy without trying to do anything more, though you could feel the warmth of his palm resting against your stomach. He wasn't even trying to support his own weight, practically lying on top of you.
What an asshole.
"Get your sweaty little hands off me! I just got out of the shower," your voice came out muffled beneath his excessive weight.
"Yep. And you used my shampoo," Goo replied with a wide smile, nuzzling his nose against your neck to catch his own scent on you. For some reason, knowing you walked around smelling like him made him strangely happy.
Then his tongue briefly brushed your pulse point and you squealed.
"Ew! Ew, ew, ewww... Fuck off, Goo!"
☆ JAMES
You held one suit hanger against your body, humming quietly. Then you picked up another with your free hand. Both looked fine, yet something still felt off.
Your eyes met his in the mirror as he watched you with his usual calm expression.
"What do you think?" you asked, turning toward him. You held up one suit, then the other, giving him a chance to compare them.
"Both are good," he said simply, never taking his eyes off your silhouette. "You would look beautiful even without anything at all."
You shrugged, turning back to the mirror.
"Liar. You haven't seen me without clothes, so you can't say that."
James's lips twitched. A tiny movement, not quite a smile. Slowly, he stood up from the armchair and took several steps toward you. Your eyes met again in the mirror.
"... Maybe something flashier? I bet you still have something left from your idol days."
James glanced at the ceiling, as if he was either thinking or quietly rolling his eyes at your attitude.
He raised a hand and gently tilted your chin upward. The touch was light and playful, almost like a reminder not to push your luck too far.
Before you could say anything else, he stepped back until your view was filled by his broad shoulders.
"The second one. Your legs look better in the second one."
You hummed, glancing down at your legs.
Do they?
☆ JAKE
Jake looked up as you placed a plastic bag in front of him. The smell of something warm and delicious immediately reached him.
"What is it?" he asked, though his hands were already unpacking the bag and peeking into the containers inside.
"Leftovers," you said simply, leaning your hip against the table. "I visited your mom and she gave me some."
His brows shot up in surprise. You hadn't told him that. His mom hadn't mentioned it either. Well, in her defense, it wasn't like she called him very often.
"Mom? Like my mom?" You nodded, and Jake stared at the food with a bewildered expression. "Why wasn't I invited?"
"I dunno... She only asked me to come over."
At your dismissive shrug, Jake chuckled and shook his head. Now you were visiting his mom without him even being invited? The last time he checked, he was her only kid.
"Okay, that's kind of cute, but I'm definitely asking her about it next time," Jake said with his usual easygoing smile as he stood up.
One hand settled warmly against your lower back while the other lifted the bag into the air. He gave it a little shake, smiling even wider.
"Will you keep me company?" His thumb drifted just a little lower, enough that the touch no longer felt entirely friendly. He was genuinely happy that you and his mother got along so well. That fact made him wonder what if...
"Yeah. Do you want something to drink?"
Jake nodded, his smile never leaving his lips. His eyes carried something warm and difficult to describe.
"Sure thing, bestie."
Hand slipped a little lower as he guided you out of the room.
my day off gave me an opportunity to post everything I had. bon appetit lol
Zack is thinking a lot about nothing in particular.
Zack was being a hypocrite and he knew that.
He does a lot of reflection and tries to be better not only for those around him, but also for himself. And it's hard sometimes, but he is patient.
About patience... Mira. The girl he was in love with for so long it wasn't really funny anymore. He tried to talk with Gongseob about it in a moment of weakness (he wasn't sure why he decided his teacher was a good choice for that conversation), and the man gave him the stupidest answer.
"You gonna run around her till you die? You wanna die as a virgin?"
Zack really wanted to jump from the mountain after those words.
What did this old man even know, huh?! There is a thing called love! Enormous and unconditional love!
At least that's what Zack was thinking about the situation.
Now back to you.
You had been around for a long time now. Zack remembered you being kind of friends with Mira before Daniel got into the school. So you two had a club Zack and the others weren't part of.
Well, pretty fair, considering those idiots were doing anything but school. You and Mira got closer, and suddenly it's the three of you.
Zack is having lunch with Mira? You are here. Walking her home after school? Oopsie, Mira's hand is already tugging you along. Cafe? Your face. Cinema? Mira is saying you two already watched that movie. Together.
Don't get me wrong. Zack had to be angry about it (he kind of was), but still it was giving him a strange feeling.
You were nice, and he knew you were around not because you were trying to disrupt their time together. You were always saying sorry to him and he couldn't be angry. Maybe just because he wasn't around so much, Mira needed someone else in her life to talk with.
The problem is... Okay, well, you are nice. Really funny and it was good to be in your company. He understood Mira. Sure.
But he didn't understand why his heart was beating so hard and your face appeared in his head more often. He was doing a lot of reflection, do you remember?
Well, that shit wasn't helping. Years of boxing weren't helping either. Maybe he just got hit really hard last time and something really changed in his head. Cause why was he thinking about you more than Mira?
His eyes kept drifting to you more than usual. Something about the way you were always around, but never too pushy. Helping with classes because he skipped them again. Giving your notes without asking for anything in return. You even complimented his new hair!
He was just a man, okay? He really wasn't asking for a lot. A few nice words and he was already feeling guilty that your face kept appearing in his head again and again.
His leg was bouncing, fingers tapping on the book nervously. This lesson was too damn long.
His eyes shifted to you sitting several seats ahead. You weren't listening either, already tired, so you were just drawing something in your notebook.
Your posture shifted and your eyes lifted. Zack swallowed so hard, he was sure everyone in the class heard it. Then you smiled. Smiled?! Zack blinked like you did something unbelievable. And for him? Yeah, you did.
His chest tightened. Was it..? Is it..?
The lesson ended and it took him several long moments to stand up. No. He needed to do something. Talk with you at least. He made this mistake before, he couldn't do it again. And you would understand, right? Right?!
Zack was behind you so fast it made you jump as he suddenly appeared. For a second you looked at him questioningly, waiting for him to say something. Honestly, he looked like he was about to punch you.
"You good?" you finally said, pushing books into your school bag. Students slowly walked out of the classroom.
Zack nodded. Once. Then he said your name like he was trying it for the first time. You blinked at him again.
"Yes, listen..." He looked to the side, then brought his eyes back. "... maybe you and me..."
"Aren't you gonna be late?"
Mira's voice made him jump even higher than you did before. He looked at her like she caught him doing something unforgivable.
She gave him a small glance before raising her hand to fix your shirt. Just a small gesture, but really meaning much more than that.
"Yep, right," you nodded, pushing the bag onto your shoulder. Your eyes were fixed on the girl in front of you a little too intensely for Zack's liking. Hello? He is here! "I almost forgot my shift was rescheduled."
Zack was just standing there. Hands shoved in his pockets, trying to mask how nervous he was. Daniel touched his shoulder, wanting to ask him if he was coming, but Zack gave him such a look that his friend grimaced. What did he do?
"I will text you later," you gave Mira one more glance, your hand squeezing hers before turning back to Zack. "Sorry, I need to go..."
Zack nodded his head so hard it made some strange noise. Daniel and Jay, who stood next to him, looked at each other. A silent communication.
He opened his mouth to say something, but stopped in the same stupid pose. You leaned in and placed a small kiss on Mira's cheek. A little bit too close to her lips.
Your cheeks were red as you hurried out of the classroom. Heart was beating faster as her pretty face permanently imprinted itself in your head.
All three guys froze. Zack's mouth didn't close. Somehow he got two shades paler. Daniel held a hand in front of his face to check if he was breathing. He wasn't.
"Z-zack?!"
"What's wrong? You don't feel good?" Mira got closer as well, seeing how pale her friend looked.
No. It can't be real. What was that about? Did he misunderstand something?! How is it possible?! He took such a deep, loud breath that his head got dizzy. A hand pressed against his chest. So dramatically.
Did he just lose a game he didn't know he was playing?!
While Daniel tried to save his friend from a stroke, Jay silently showed Mira a thumbs-up. Her cheeks redder and she shyly nodded.
Was it an approval..?
Gongseob was laughing his ass off. All tears and loud creaking sounds that didn't sound like laughing at all. Some rice flew out of his mouth, landing right on his student's face. Zack wiped it in disgust. His appetite was gone, even though he had been training for the whole day.
"The fuck is so funny, old man, huh?! I told you because I thought you could give me advice!" Zack raised his tone a little bit and got hit under the table.
"This is a sacred place, don't swear here, you fucking idiot."
"You just swore!"
"I can do that," the older man, still chuckling lightly, pressed a hand over his stomach. Ah, he hadn't laughed like that in a long time.
He looked at his student. Zack was sitting there like some kicked dog. Ahhh, love problems...
"How bad could you be if both your crushes got together? The hell did you do?"
He laughed again, this time even louder.
Maybe jumping from the mountain wasn't such a bad idea after all.
