You'd always been the type to chase what you want, and Johan? From the second you laid eyes on him when you went for a haircut at his mother's hair salon you were hooked. So, you decided to work in the salon without expecting a salary, just so you could see Johan every day. You didn't even hide your interest. Without any subtlety you flirted shamelessly with Johan (only when his mother was away). You kept leaning in close when he tried to fix the broken hand shower in the salon and whispered things like, "These hand fixing leaks? I bet they'd fix my heart too."

He'd always flush, avert your sharp eyes and push you aside. But you weren't the type to give up that easily. You kept on pursuing him with texts full of heart emojis and not leaving the salon when it was clearly 10pm, declaring, "I'm not leaving till you admit I'm your favorite distraction."

The sweetness bloomed one night when Johan's mom asked him to drop your home. For once you noticed that he didn't scowl or frown at the mention of spending time with you. You sat behind him on his battered bike your hand around his waist (he didn't budge). The wind was strong and cold and to your surprise Johan pulled over. "Anything wrong Johan?" "Wrong? Nothing wrong. Just making sure my favourite distraction doesn't catch a cold." Johane shrugged off his jacket – warm from his body – and wrapped it around you, then zipped it up halfway, his fingers lingering to tuck your hair inside the collar.

In that tender moment, your heart swelled unconsciously, love wrapping around you like the jacket. He's...perfect, you thought.

And hence, beneath that starry night, you took the reins.You backed him against his bike with a smirk, your hands sliding under his shirt to trace his abs and finally pulled him into a kiss. "You're my ride or die, Johan." you said as you pulled back.

Johan gripped your waist, finally kissing back with the same intensity, admitting breathlessly, "Same here."

Vasco

Vasco is a literal walking-talking teddy bear wrapped in muscle. His one grin and you were done for. You started joining him and the Burn Knuckles during lunch, meetings and even when they hangout. You even got the orange jumpsuit to match. But poor baby Vasco was unknown to such hints. He took in your comments about his abs or muscles like a compliment from a coach. "Thank you Y/N, I have been training with the bears lately!" An embarrassed Jace had to work hard to explain Vasco that you were flirting, but Vasco wouldn't understand that either and everyone would just facepalm. Including you.

It was festival day in J-high. You had accidentally wandered off from the group. And just your luck you got cornered by some rowdy drunk who wouldn't take no for an answer. But even before you could panic, Vasco appeared with dumbell. He simply threw them at the drunkard (the dude collapsed on spot) and scooped you up in his massive arms. "Y/N! Are you hurt? Are you okay?"

Your crush turned into something much more. Before he could let you down you peppered his neck with kisses and said, "My hero deserves a reward."

"I... I like protecting you," he replied while his face flushed red. You grinned, wrapping your hand around his neck. "Good, because I'm not going anywhere."

Daniel's soft, kind-hearted, and little awkward gestures caught you off guard in this chaotic world. You were open about it from the start. You slid next to him in the cafeteria, smiling as you fed him bites of your lunch, "You're soo cute when you blush, Piggy~ It makes me want to keep you all to myself."

He'd stammer, face turning tomato-red, pushing his glasses up while mumbling excuses, but you didn't stop there. For the next few days all Daniel could think about were the surprise hugs in the halls, bold notes in his locker saying, "Date me or I'll ask your mom for your hand in marriage."

Gun was focused on making dinner for the night when he heard your fast steps "Chat, can you watch my boyfriend for me? I'll be right back" before he could process anything your mobile was on the kitchen counter, and you already disappeared.

Gun raised an eyebrow and read the chat "is he really y/n's bf?" he read the question "yes, yes I am" he turned to keep cooking when a notification popped "gangnamoppa2: what is y/n doing with a loser" Gun chuckled while slicing the sashimi with his knife "the girl you're spending money on, sleeps with me every night" he shaped the rice to prepare the niguiri "who's the loser here?".

When you reappeared you found Gun giving a sushi masterclass while the chat was going crazy, you started to read the comments:

Side hugs just to tease you. Suddenly lifting you into the air while hugging you from behind. Vin loves reminding you how strong, hot and amazing he is. Don't you feel lucky?

The whole tsundere act falls apart the moment you're the one who hugs him first, your cheek resting against his chest as your eyes are blinking at him. In those moments he's the one who feels lucky.

☆ HUDSON

He never thought much about hugging someone before he met you.

Now having an arm around you feels so natural that he can't help hugging you all the time. He just loves feeling your warmth so close, knowing he's there to protect you and make sure you're safe.

it should feel like cheating (but it's not his fault!) because these days it feels like the burn knuckles are put on the back burner with how much he thinks of you — all jace's words.

it doesn't matter to vasco, you are much prettier and cooler and awesomer than anyone else. his own y/n, all his!!! how cool is that? of course he'll put the burn knuckles aside for you.

but that's not to say vasco is ignoring his burn knuckles duties, he's still doing all of them! so what if he's just constantly blabbering about you to his members?

anyways, that's not the point. the point is: vasco can't stop thinking of you.

it's all just little items he finds throughout the day, but there's so much you don't know what to do with it sometimes.

there's a bit of a routine now. vasco saves everything in his pockets—just lugging it around incase he sees you a little earlier than expected—and does a debrief of everything he found during lunch.

the first time it happens, it's a little jarring.

the moment vasco spots you during lunch break, his face is so bright it's nearly blinding.

"y/n! y/n-ah, come look what i found today," vasco excitedly says, shoving zack out the way and sitting down next to you.

"the fuck–" zack grumbles, but pauses when he sees the amount of rocks that vasco is pulling out of his pockets. it seems never ending, and zack is just more confused how the fuck vasco fit all of that in there.

there's over a dozen rocks, all ranging from small to the size of your fist.

"vasco..? what's this?" you ask, confused.

vasco lays it all out in an orderly manner, arranging the rocks by size.

"this one is shiny, so i brought it to you. same with this one and this one. for this rock, the color was really nice and i liked it." vasco points to each rock, listing out his reasons for bringing them.

"that's nice, what about these then?"

and the cycle continues. vasco comes everyday with more and more items. crumpled candy wrappers with cute designs, keychains, plushies, three stickers he peeled off a vending machine, just about anything he can find.

you have to start bringing another small bag to fit them all—which makes you wonder, how is vasco rawdogging it all in his pocket? is every day leg day for him?

still, vasco never fails to show up. it's reminiscent of a penguin mating ritual, especially with how vasco puffs up with each "aww!" and "thank you!"

daniel says it's cute, zack thinks vasco has a hoarder problem, jay doesn't say anything but daniel claims he meant to say "vasco is doing a good job of being y/n's boyfriend".

mira thinks it's a little obnoxious but still cute, and zoe is starting to copy vasco's techniques to use on daniel—which makes jay start to one-up her. suddenly daniel's desk looks like yours every lunch now.

and you? you love it. it's endearing how excited vasco is to present his findings to you. the sparkle in his eyes rivals the newest rock he brings you (does he polish them in his spare time?) and he waits like a puppy for your compliments.

one day, curiosity gets the better of you.

you're eyeing a neon frog keychain he brought you, with googly eyes and and a pullable tongue, while vasco is yapping away.

when vasco finishes you finally ask him, "why do you actually bring me these?"

vasco quiets down, and you can see him staring at his feet. he's scratching his neck, slightly embarrassed as he starts mumbling.

"well, it makes you smile so.."

you blink at him.

"that's it?"

he nods, and his ears are pink. "yeah."

you let out a small laugh, "you've been stuffing yourself full on junk just to see me smile?"

"it's not junk!" vasco frowns, feeling a little offended.

"sure, vasco." you have to bite your lip to stop the giggle threatening to bubble out your mouth. vasco looks like a kicked puppy from you telling him that. his shoulders droop a little, and you can see his imaginary puppy ears wilting.

"mission accomplished, then." you wrap your arm around his, interlocking your fingers.

vasco perks up again, a smile gracing his face. "really? you like them?"

"i love them."

just seeing how happy he gets makes you already anticipate what he's going to bring tomorrow.

Touch is an essential aspect of the human experience. It’s something that strengthens bonds, may it be a simple handshake, a hug from a loved one, or even those passionate moments deep in the night.

The room was dimly lit, a soft glow from the bedside lamp casting a warm, golden hue across the sheets. Vasco lay on his back, his chest rising and falling steadily, with you nestled against him. The gentle aftermath of your intimacy wrapped around both of you like a soft blanket.

Vasco stared down at you as you moved closer into his side, his fingers trailing up and down your bare back. There was something about the way you looked in the dim lightning with the lamp on your bedside table highlighting some parts of your face.

He revered you. He thought of you as the sun, everything about you felt so warm. He felt warm around you, no matter how long you two have been dating, you still managed to make his heart beat out of his chest every single time you blessed him with even an ounce of your attention.

“You know…” Your voice pulls him out of his thoughts. What were you talking about? He wasn’t listening, he was too absorbed admiring you. “No, I don’t.” His gruff voice answers, making you huff out in amusement. “Sorry, what were we talking about?” He asks, bringing his hand from your lower back to your face to brush some of your hair out of your face.

“Your tattoos.” Your fingers tap one on his chest, “You’ve never told me the meaning behind them.” You clarify. One of his eyebrows raised in curiosity, “The meaning…?” He repeats as he looks down at where your finger tapped.

“They’re umm traditional Japanese tattoos‒oh and this one’s a bluebird.” He points at the bluebird tattoo on his chest then glances back up at you with such a simple expression on his face that clearly asked if he was able to answer your question.

“I know what those are, silly.” You smiled, “I meant like‒why did you get them? Is there a story? or did you just see some action star with tattoos and think ‘yep, i’m getting one too’.” You explained.

Vasco’s lips pressed into a line for a moment before sighing. “Yes, there’s a story to them.” His answer is quiet, internally shivering as his mind replays his memories from middle school. You catch the way the corners of his mouth seem to turn down a bit, the way his brows furrow and he subtly inhales sharply.

“...we don’t have to talk about it if it makes you uncomfy, I was just curious.” You softly say, a hand coming up to cup his face. Thumb brushing over his cheek which instinctively makes him nuzzle his face into your palm. “No, no, it’s fine. We can talk about it if you want to.” He quickly says, covering your hand with his.

“You sure? it’s fine really–”

“I’m sure.”

He stares at you firmly yet his gaze was also a window to his soul where you could see the vulnerability. You held his gaze, searching his eyes for any sign of doubt but this is Vasco we’re talking about, he never goes back on his word.

“Okay then, tell me the story behind them.” You say. He moves your hand away from his cheek, guiding it towards one of the tattoos on his left arm. “This one covers up one of my scars from back in middle school.” He starts, recalling when the bullying started.

You listen intently as he guided your hand to where each vulgar tattoo that bullies carved into his skin were, all cleverly covered up by his tattoos. You felt the texture of the ink beneath your touch, the artistry and meaning imbuing each detail with life. Vasco leaned closer, allowing you to explore each tattoo fully, fingers gliding over each intricate design.

As your fingertips trailed over his skin, he observed you. Completely in awe of you, it made you giggle sometimes when you saw how in love he was with you. Often telling him that he probably feels that way because you’re his first love, his first everything.

Vasco’s hand held yours against his skin. "It’s funny," he said after a long pause. "I never talk about these. But with you… it feels easy."

You looked up at him, your eyes meeting his, full of quiet understanding. "Thank you for sharing," you whispered, your voice as tender as the moment you both were in.

He leaned down, pressing a soft kiss to your forehead, his lips lingering there as if sealing the connection between you. And in that silence, surrounded by the warmth of your shared breaths, the stories on his skin felt as much yours now as they were his.

You traced the lines of his tattoos again, mindlessly this time. You lay there, enveloped in the quiet, taking in the intimate space you had created.

The tattoos on his skin weren’t just marks of his past; they were symbols of his strength and determination. With each gentle brush of your fingers, you felt the connection deepen, a promise that you would stand by him through whatever life threw your way.
