Hey WHAT THE FUCK
when theatre kids hear show tunes in public
I think the funniest thing is her diction. Like that shit sticks with you.
Caught in a rather good romance
It sounds like Iâm playing a video game and someone is trying to sell me potions. :D
âŠthat is exactly what it sounds like
This is AMAZING.
I never saw the movie. Why didnât the owl fly out?
owl was living for the drama
This movie was wonderfully written and im made we didnât get a series like this out of it.
Amazing. This is ten thousand year old water trapped inside of a polished quartz crystal.

Must slurp.

All I can think is âI would NOT wanna be the person responsible for polishing it.â
Everyoneâs thinking of slurping but Iâm wondering
Prison for decades old bacteria/creature?
tbh with the rate the worldâs going, Iâd take being possessed by the supernatural entity in this rock water any day
ancient fruit gusher
Today I got curious about nutmeg and wound up learning something I never would have expected: it looks Incredibly Cursedâąïž when raw!
The outside fruit is normal enough, but the nutmeg seed itself is encased in this strange scarlet webbing, called the aril, and looks exactly like the demon-infected heart of a video game monster. That haunted webbing is the source of mace, an apparently common spice that I have literally never heard of but which is the source of the classic doughnut flavor, among other things. (Itâs not related to the self-defense aerosol.)
I think most people know you can also get balls high off freshly-ground nutmeg and possibly die after the absolute worst trip imaginable, potentially lasting several days.
So, thatâs fun! Doughnuts are flavored with Deeply Cursed Monster Hearts and I find this utterly delightful.
ALARMING! I love it!
Mace is also the source of the best example of clueless management I know. An English Lord in charge of the plantations where nutmeg and mace were farmed noticed that mace was more expensive than nutmeg, and demanded that âmore mace be farmed, and less money be wasted farming nutmegâ.
Oh yeah, the history of its trade is super evil.
anyone else been following the saga of the guy whose neighbor complained to the zoning commission about his fence being too high so he cut down half his fence and then filled his yard with scary naked mannequins as revenge or is that just knowledge iâm personally living withÂ
@sowhatelseisblu
is it scurvy? is it lead? is it tuberculosis? is it the crippling loneliness? who knows weâre all dying

Princess Peach was really just like âmy castle is gonna be a weird museum with maybe some living quarters tucked away somewhere but mostly just magic portals to battlefields and slidesâ and everybody was like yeah you beautiful binch go ahead
Thereâs a whole fucking room in the castle thatâs just a long corridor with a portrait of bowser at the end. Thereâs another specifically designed to be a trick of perspective so you run towards a portrait of a goomba that looks like itâs right in front of you but itâs actually far away and huge. Thereâs a room filled with paintings and then a mirror wall so you can like, see the paintings reflected, I guess?
Princess Peach just has a bizarre series of magical art installations and thatâs her house
Like she LIVES there. Thatâs her HOUSE. She was like âhey toadsworth can we have a giant grandfather clock that if you jump at it it takes you to a magical world inside the clock but depending on what time you jump in the moving parts of the magic clock world will be faster or slowerâ and toadsworth was like âk lolâ in her HOUSE
What Iâm saying is Princess Peach is a fucking legend
Years ago, my husband sent an email to Nintendo asking them a bunch of questions about Mario 64; stuff like âHow do Bobombs reproduce?â and âWho does the second baby penguin belong to?â and that. I bring it up because one of the fifty-odd questions asked was âWhy is there no furniture in Princess Peachâs castle?â
Nintendo of Europe answered every question, so I can canonically tell you that Princess Peach is so rich that she owns two castles, one for furniture and one for all her artwork.
(In case youâre wondering, the answers to the other two are âThrough a mixture of gunpowder and loveâ and âNo one. It is its own penguin.â)
Thereâs extra, and then theres Princess Peach
thinkin about the time i forgot my sunhat while i was teaching a canoeing class and my boss just stuck a giant lily pad on my head and it dried into shape and worked perfectly as a sun hat and i used it for days
y'all have it wrong this is proof that my BOSS has magical powers not me

my botany professor: cork is harvested from the tree Quercus suber, most commonly in spain and portugal. the cork comes from the thick outer bark the tree produces; harvests are very technical and have to be done by hand, because removing all the bark without harming the tree is very intuition-based and canât be accomplished via machine. instead, teams of highly skilled workers are tasked with using axes to carefully harvest the bark. it grows back completely in 10-15 years, whereupon the next harvest can take place. the trees can live up to 200 years and can undergo over 10 harvests in their lifetimesÂ
me: hehee,,,âŠ..the trees are nakey
