So the writer of the upcoming Ghost in the Shell live action just defended whitewashing and ScarJo being casted as Motoko Kusanagi (or whatever the female lead’s name is if they’re going to fuck it up even more by changing her name)…by claiming there are “no good Asian actresses”. 

This is so ugly, wth. No good Asian actresses? Are you fucking kidding me? Then what about Lucy Liu? Constance Wu? Rinko Kikuchi? Thank you for giving us another reason to boycott the movie. 

Apparently, the writer’s other movies bombed terribly from what I heard. I hope this one bombs, too.
