Tomi Lahren went to a DRAG BRUNCH this past weekend at queer restaurant that I frequent and someone threw water on her to express that she was not welcome at an establishment that is a safe space for the exact people that she personally victimizes on large influential social platforms on a daily basis. She had a whole segment on fox news about how she was targeted and oppressed by people who she actively oppresses. There is a lot to be said about this girl but I think my main point is to everyone reading this. You are NOT allowed to enjoy and/or exploit queer culture (ie drag queens, gay bars, drag race, ‘gay best friends’, Pride Parades, and queer businesses) if you actively vote against and/or support elected officials that consistently and intentionally demote and debate the literal basic human rights of queer people. You do not get to choose when it is okay to be queer, and you do not get to enjoy the parts of our community that are fun and eccentric if you do not support the struggles and desperate needs of our community to have basic rights. You can say you support us all you want and I love that you specifically support me, but there are a lot more people out there that you are hurting on a political basis and for that you are not allowed to pout when we don’t want you at a drag brunch because you vote to not let us live normal lives out of drag.
