i need connection, it can be more than about the book, but true story these character's are literally undressing and *forni-cah-ating* behind my eyes- every second of every day, so i will likely maybe be annoying with it TT.TT

but for once i'm not apologizing for being me, slacking my responsibilties so i can write a poly dark romance that has big themes... ones that my punitive brain can barely keep up with. for once, i am unashamedly putting my inner confidence into Roux, my inner Trauma into Nio, my simmering angst into Cash and my unshakable understanding and patience into Cyr. they are all me, the very worst and the very best, and some in the ways i wish i could be.

i promise you, the themes are dark but my novel is funny, meaningful and GROUND breaking. and right now, i am all alone. i have not a single person to help me story board or work shop, and i am just lonely.

don't be shy, i'm super friendly and supportive, and i usually give more than i take by defult. i'm hoping to create a small positive corner of the internet for all types here, and hoping that my book one day creates a huge positive boost for lgbtq communities everywhere.

Its 3am & i just got done writing a scene that made me cry.

& no i didnt cry after thirteen straight chapters of whump to my whumpee MC endong in a suicide attempt.... no i cried when he sends his ex boyfriends missing ear buds back with a note reminding said ex to make sure he checks his pockets before washing his clothes -which is how he lost them in the first place.

The note signifies "im not chasing you, but i still care" and it KILLED ME

it's been a hot minute since i've updated my progress in march i was on chapter four, whining about wanting to skip to roux, wellllllllllll here we are in may and i basically hyperfixated on writing until i got to Roux so he's intro'd chapter 8 and has only a hand full of scenes but by chapter 15 he's a main part of my story. so here are some of my best Roux line's for you to enjoy.

“Relax, I only hallucinate on weekends. And government sanctioned holidays.” “Normally I look like a vampire punk with a caffeine addiction.” "I’m a pro when it comes to talking to myself. I have at least six personalities to keep me company"

reading: (bread makes you fat???) anyway, i just got done reading 'dear daddy please want me' by alex silver. i read it as a stand alone although its part of a series following different people and kinks, and i read this one because it had good trans rep & poly and i might get into reading more of his books bc i loved it.

last google: i'm a wirter - my google history is toast. between looking up various trans reasearch methods to figure out things for my one character, and looking up questionable BDSM and PTSD related questions, and looking up mafia- gang related questions, and questions about human conditioning (not just grooming but literal psychoanalysis conditioning) AND human trafficking questions my google is cooked.

working on: three mannucripts - my main focus is 'love wound tight' which is my MMMM poly a four book whirlwhind of a plot twist with a focus on real life angst- what not to do in a relationship paired with re-learning how its supposed to go, with a realistic healing and aftercare focus and not 'oh we did this once and so everything is magically better for you' my second focus is a spin on the novel "oh sacred dark" by mariana vivaros (probably killed that name spelling) but i decided i wanted that type of story plot but with a much better magic system, and full fantasy, none of this real world tech and much more tension between the characters in the ennemies to lovers category. my third focus is a pirate themed- fantasy novel with beast shape-shifter animal species (that hold a grudge against humans) who sail around the world freeing captured beast slaves. and the mute human they keep as a 'pet' this one deals with some medevil torture methods (so google is also cooked with that) and is a touch darker in action where as my other series is dark in plot, this one is just dark for dark's sake.

tea or coffee: um both? i need my coffee, its an addiction and im strapped to it for life, but i like matcha which is technically a tea and i usually do my matcha in a smoothie with fruits and stuff so its not like tea.

i just wanna skip ahead and switch to Roux

5,834 words in chapter 4, and i swear to god i need to intro him soon but i still have so much ground to cover.

but until i can figure out where his intro gets to come in, heres a snippet from his big intro chapter XD

“Right. Um…. The Clerk was saying you shouldn’t really be in this room if… you don’t have someone visiting you.” She says sweetly, like talking to a child. Roux threw his hand into his chest with an over-the-top mocking scoff. “How dare you insinuate that I don't have a visitor.” Roux says offensively. Committed to the bit, for better or for worse, he turns his whole body to the side facing empty air. “Don’t listen to her, Sheila. Everyone can see you I swear.” It was delivered like a bad drama student. She’s frozen for a second not sure if she should take him seriously, then again, half the people she works with are clinically crazy, she’s not set up to take his humor lightly. “Are you… hearing or seeing anything that the rest of us aren’t?” Roux rolls his eyes right back to the empty space next to him. “Sheila, did you hear that? She thinks you’re a symptom. Rude.” The tech stares at him mouth agape. She’s not sure if it’s a joke or not. Sheesh tough crowd. “Relax, I only hallucinate on weekends and holidays.... And all throughout may.” he quoted a comedian he liked. she didn't get it. The Clerk started to walk over with a scowl on her face, noting the Tech’s distress. Roux sighs internally, They never laugh.

Being trans is like being given a house that sucks. The pipes are leaky and the wallpaper is so ugly and the beds are lumpy and you feel uncomfortable every time you set foot in there.

Everyone else seems to really like their houses though, and you can’t see inside of them, so you just assume that you’re being weird.

And then you hear about the construction project that’s happening down the road. And you didn’t know that was an option. You can just…fix your house? It can be better? You don’t have to live with the horrible lighting and weird furniture?

But other people scoff at the construction. They complain about the noise. “Why can’t they just be happy? The plumbing is great and the furniture is so comfortable! Why would you change it? And why do we have to deal with all their issues anyways? They could just do it quietly, away from us!” And you thought everyone hated their houses, at least a little. And it’s so much work to renovate. It’s fine in your house. It sucks, but it’s fine.

Then one day you try putting up a new painting. Something small. Just for you. Just to try it. And it feels like you. It feels right. And you didn’t know anything felt that good, ever. So you start to do more. And more. And eventually you might even start construction. And it’s inconvenient, and loud, and people complain, but you didn’t know that it could feel good to go home.

And then, one day, your renovations are done. And you get to have a home like everyone else. And that joy you felt looking at that painting? It’s everywhere now. And it’s normal.

It’s hard to build the home for your soul all on your own. But it’s worth it. It’s so worth it
