The thing is, the overwhelming absence of Armand from trailers and teasers wouldn't be so concerning if it didn't come on top of the last eighteen months of Assad being sidelined. It's true that they could be leaving Armand out of teasers because his scenes are spoilers, or because they're trying to build mystery, or because they're focusing on rockstat for now or for some other reason we don't know about. But none of that would account for eighteen months with nothing but NYCC in terms of appearances or interviews, or having no character poster for Armand at SDCC 24, or randomly leaving his name off the cast list and only adding it back after weeks of fan complaints, or most of all not caring or valuing him enough to even bother submitting him for major awards. After all of that, I have no benefit of the doubt left to give them. They have signalled again and again that they just don't care about either the character or the actor or both. And I for one am sick of it.
