The Orange Addison who Iāve named Poppy is trans. I donāt make the rules someday, eventually, at some point Iām sure, these two Addisons as well as their other siblings will be interact-able here: @meet-the-addisons when? dunno
I would end up traumatizing characters I love unless they were already pretty traumatized at the start.
Types of characters I get attached to are either: small mentally unstable gremlins that wake up and always choose violence, or the side character thatās seen once and has maybe one line of dialog.
I know a lot of people have been either making their own addison ocs - which I might at some point end up doing as well - and/or giving names and personalities to the ones we see in game so Iāve pretty much started to do that as well. I have seen the ātheyāre all siblingsā headcanon and I love that idea so Iām going to do that too
Yellow one literally being called Audio.mp3 but after hearing part of a Billy Mays infomercial decides that will be his name despite his siblings insisting he canāt just steal someoneās name. Took Spams to the dark web a few times and got in so much trouble for it.
Blue one is being named Alexa, yes after the thing. They are very tired of the Alexa meme but that just makes their siblings do it more. they Are anxiety and need a nap.
The Orange one Iām calling Poppy, sheās trans and the groups one braincell, not the oldest but acts like it
and the Pink one Iām naming Siri, yes after the other thing and making her twins with Alexa. A complete disaster gay, pretty over dramatic but if somethingās actually bothering her will emotionally shut down and focus just on work

There will be more thoughts (and there already was that long thought-dump I already did) and already some headcanons in the works as it is. but I needed to share my very first reaction to some scenes in Deltarune chapter 2. After playing chapter 2 there are already some slight changes I might need to make to this little AU
As of now a lot of things can still stay the same - not all but a lot-ish-Ā but I might hold off trying to develop things further and maybe wait until 84 years from now when the full rest of the game is out
Things so far in the au that will stay the same:
Garnet, Ruby and Mina will still be the same with Garnet being a gay disaster hopelessly in love with Rouxls Kaard, Ruby being Garnetās incredibly lazy Rudinn Ranger sister whoās in love with Mina but convinced the two are just friends, and Mina theĀ DisneyĀ princess Head Hathy who is a Disney princess knows Ruby loves her, loves Ruby back but will let the dumb, dumb, dumb oblivious snek figure things out in her own time - just now in the smaller area since I do remember we closed that fountain but it hadnāt actually accrued to me the world would be made smaller lol -Ā and as of now Ralsei being adopted by Seam and Jevil is staying the same.Ā
I really hope nothing happens to mess that part up with like a huge plot point or I might have to go full canon divergent since I just love the idea of after beating Jevil, heās returned to Seam, Ralsei checks up on them from time to time to make sure Jevil is behaving himself and Seamās parent senses go ding seeing that this goat child doesnāt seem to have any family and seems quite lonely. so one day when Ralsei visits the two Seam is justĀ āhey guess what weāre having a kid - itās you sign hereāĀ
And that just carries on like that, Ralsei gets a clown and cat set of parents that give him so much love and support and sometimes teach him spells - Seam being so proud when Ralsei learns string-like magic and Jevil flippin ECSTATIC when Ralsei learns how to turn himself into a devilsknife.Ā
Things in the AU that might need to change:
When I played chapter 1 I made two save files - one I named Frisk that I played through first doing everything very pacifist-y and then one I did that I named Flowey where I did everything else.Ā
When I opened chapter 2 even though getting to the credits of both files I only had access to continue from Friskās. so to create a second file I would need a second pacifist/ overthrowing not pacifying the king file. and I just. donāt feel like doing that.Ā
I had this blog/sorta AU follow the pacify-the-king route since I wanted the three other kings still locked up to be freed later on - but they were still locked up regardless and so thereās no reason to not shift it to well sticking to canon and overthrowing Spade. It was also just the very next day so.
The other thing that might need to be reworking is Diamond King meeting Asgore though considering itās specifically Undertaleās Asgore and not Deltaruneās Asgore maybe not, I donāt know yet. I was going to have this whole thing mostly centered around the diamond suit and Ralseiās adopted family but I think I just need more canon world building with the later chapters
As of now I think I actually canāt add anything else or move anything forward until after we actually get the full rest of Deltarune, all 7 chapters. So it might all just stay exactly like this ^ for the next several decades I have no idea
on a side note I loves chapter 2 and love the queen omg though I can see Garnet be terrified of her
