An AU where Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy are changelings that ran away from Chrysalis’s hive. Rainbow Dash has always been conflicted about loyalties. Should she be loyal to her family and friends or the Queen?

Rainbow Dash doesn’t see herself as loyal. She sees herself as someone who abandoned her hive. Sees herself as someone who abandoned her duties as a changeling. But she also can’t help but disagree with the Queens actions. She can’t help but sneer at how the Queen treats weaker changelings and how she rewards bullying their fellow changelings. Rainbow Dash had to protect Fluttershy, so they both ran.

Rainbow Dash has conflicting feelings about becoming the Element of Loyalty. She is loyal to Fluttershy yes…..these new ponies have been proving themselves as good friends to be loyal to. Can she trust these ponies with her and Fluttershy’s secret? Fluttershy while shy seems to think so…

Optional additions:

Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy replace Thorax and Pharynx AU. But also an AU where Pharynx runs away with Thorax.

Maybe Rainbow Dash IS Pharynx and Fluttershy IS Thorax. And Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy are disguises they made.

Changelings are genderless/genderfluid in my opinion because of the whole shape shifter thing.
