Please tell me all of your most random but adorable grail headcanons....I must know :,)

oh boy! let's see what I have here... most of these are about tiny grail... I probably can't recall *all* of them but I will try my best!

• Grail really loves sunflowers. When he was a kid he'd spend a long time staring at the field close to his house because they were so massive compared to him; his parents also have pictures of him as a baby dressed up as a sunflower in a little failed onesie Eight tried to make for him...

• For a long time, Grail didn't know how to walk upright, so he'd just. Scoot around on his knees.

• Grail's force sensitivity was never destructive as a baby, but it did manifest in baffling ways for his parents, such as when they'd turn around for one second and find him somehow having levitated himself to the top of the fridge. Arcann was also rather startled when the first time Grail communicated with him through the Force it was just to tell him he was hungry...

• Grail loved animals and always tried to bring them home, but Eight and Arcann had to put their foot down when he accidentally got too close to a bantha calf and Arcann had to save him from getting gored by an angry bantha mother. It didn't stop him from sneaking in the littler pests, though.

• Grail had a habit of escaping from his crib to go sleep with his parents or occasionally play when he wasn't supposed to. Unfortunately there's only so many ways one can keep a force-sensitive baby in their bed, so Arcann would play with him until he was tired out even if it was 2 am.

• Grail calls SCORPIO 'wire mother'. She's not very fond of the nickname.

• Grail's headband is made from a piece of Eight's Outlander gear. He's worn it ever since he was small and has no idea it used to protect his father. (It's Eight's way of passing on his wish for Grail's safety).

• Grail was often affectionately called 'little prince' by his parents.

Actually it’s been a long time I didn’t draw any SWTOR NPC, I kinda miss it ! I had another request with Quinn (wow such popularity !) but I’m probably not going to make both. I try to stick with doing each palette just once (to try to do as many as possible !) and each asked character only once too (unless I’m inspired of course !) so don’t me mad u3u I just hope this one Quinn offering will please you both anons !

i'm still working on getting the headpiece because i have no money and im a cheapskate, but i figured i'd make Eight's consort look in-game.... this is a simpler design compared to the really really ornate clothing in chapter 7 of TYEE, but he can't keep wearing servant's clothes or dress up in seven layers every time, so he wears something like this but with a fuller cape that covers his arms like the leftmost byzantine dress on the right.

#poor Eight tho… from what I’ve read in TYEE#he has complicated feelings over Arcann and I wonder how leaving affects him#obviously he adores his son and I’m sure is more relieved to be reunited#and no longer being in a gilded cage would be ideal#Arcann doesn’t deserve him but also… feelings aren’t logical#and I could be entirely off base with that of course

@understorysunflecks (sorry for tag OTL) You're actually right on the money! He's got a lot of conflicting emotions about being rescued...on one hand, if it's what Grail wants, if it's what makes him happy, he's willing to accept that. He's willing to put aside his own feelings for his son's wellbeing as he's done his whole life. On the other... Eight still loves Arcann. And that's not something even Grail might understand, that Eight feels he'll only exacerbate Arcann's own hatred and cruelty if he removes himself from the picture, that he still believes in the kinder facet of Arcann who showed him he was wanted. He knows he's been the only source of love for a man who's never had it. He's seen the other side of him, and to leave him now feels like a betrayal when he's come so far in rooting out Arcann's humanity. And others will tell him he doesn't deserve to be Arcann's keeper either or his lynchpin, he shouldn't be responsible for that, but Eight still despairs. How can he be happy when his son and his love are going to kill each other? Why does he have to choose between them? Then there's the additional layer of absolutely no one understanding he does return Arcann's feelings. Most if not all of the Alliance including Grail have it in their head that Eight was forced into becoming consort whatnot with his unconventional circumstances, and so they assume the same of his relationship with Arcann. To admit he does love Arcann amongst a crowd calling for Arcann's death would immediately turn him suspect and call Grail's loyalty to the cause into question, so he just... stays silent. And there's the sheer agony of having no one to turn to again in all this, so it's almost like trading one cage for another.

All he can do is watch, again.
